Just a little about myself

I don't talk much. At least not to people I don't know. I'm always thinking it might be some little kid wanting to hit on me or something! They just assume that everyone here is 13-16. I thinkk it would be a total shock to them to learn just how many people are here that are way over 20! I know in my over 30 guild, there are over 800 members. And that is not the only guild out there for older people.

My life is all about my family. I have two children, a boy and a girl. My husband is terrific. After all these years, we are still best friends. I dread the day my children will get married and move out. I just know I will get empty nest syndrom.

I also love animals. Animals always seem to give so much love. I have a dog, 3 cats, 9 rabbits, and 4 birds. My dog is so jealous of my African Grey. I give both of them a lot of attention so there is really no need to be jealous.

We seem to always have friends dropping in. They never need to phone first. Saturday nights my son invites his friends over and we usually have a fire going in the fire pit. We toast marshmellows and make smores (and drink a little) and laugh and have a good time together. And if it gets late, we have several sofa beds to keep them comfortable. I am a firm believer of the phrase "Don't drink and drive" Especially since my son got hit head on by a drunk driver. Thank God he was alright!
