"Excuse me, but are you Mrs. Crowfur?" The man asked while seeming to leer at the woman

The woman peered at the man wondering who he was and why he was here.

"Yes, I am Mrs. Crowfur" she stated slowly, "But may I ask who you are?"

The man looked into Mrs. Crowfur's eyes to see any lies.

"I am Detective James Hopkins." the man started, "I am here to tell you that your husband has just been found dead in the bathroom of his office, bleeding severly through several wounds."

Mrs. Crowfur couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"You must be joking!!!" she sobbed

"Please tell me you're joking!!!" she managed to choke out that last sentence before hot salty tears began to run down her cheeks.

James looked at the poor woman, now a widow with pity in his eyes. But this wasn't the first case he had like this.

"I am very sorry Mrs. Crowfur, but what I say is the truth."
"To ensure your safety we must keep you in clsoe security until we find the murderer and put him or her in jail."

James gently carried the crying woman into his car, and began to drive to his work place and sort things out with her.

I totally made this up!
