A chill stare meets your gaze as your eyes fall upon the woman that is Jade. Her forest green eyes don’t have quite the warm look to them as one might assume, from matching her name so pointedly. She brushes your attention away almost immediately, stalking off to take care of other matters that have less to do with interaction with new people, and more to do with the strict lifestyle she’s undertaken.

Jade stands at about an average height, topping out at 5’7”, with a slender frame that barely reaches 114 pounds. Still, she holds quite the commanding figure in her full attire and with the sword she can often be seen carrying. Size is nothing when presence of person is involved, and her cool attitude toward newcomers may be intimidation enough to keep people walking when faced with interacting with Jade.

Straight red hair drapes down past her shoulders, past the small of her back and almost to the back of her knees. And it’s not a normal red hair, so much as a rich maroon. It’s almost unnatural in its beauty, including the thick bangs that frame either side of her face and drape lightly past her eyes. A silver head-wrap holds most of them back, to keep them from obscuring her view, tied neatly behind her head and hidden beneath her hair. Due to the length of her hair, it curls out upwards at the ends to give it a bit of texture and bounce.

Jade is dressed in form-fitting attire, mixed with an array of armor. A black, form-fitted sleeveless shirt covers her top half, though it is mostly obscured by the armor and ornamentals that adorn her. It doesn’t appear to be worn so much for style and glamour, as much as for strict utilitarian purpose. After all, with that sword she carries, Jade likely needs armor for whatever lifestyle it is the woman faces. Her sleeveless shirt is partially covered by the golden-colored shoulder armor that clasps a long cape to the back of her. The metallic gold points out across her shoulders, the edges notched with some intricate designs and noting that the armor is likely of a high quality. The armor clasps in the middle with a large red jewel, encased in the same gold color as her shoulder armor. The jewel rests lightly against her collarbone, the rest of the armor completing with a more feminine styled breastplate in the same golden color. Beneath the armor, the simple black fabric can be seen, belted at the waist with a golden belt and a belt buckle with the same intricate design interwoven into its layout.

The same black material covers Jade’s lower half, save for the armored shinguards that cover the bottom half of the front of her legs. It’s in that same metallic golden color, with almost a diamond style cut to the metal. Her armor rests down almost to the top of her black boots, and reaches up to almost completely cover her knees. The style gives her more flexibility than some other types, and she can be seen to bend and move with ease even with her full armor on. Black boots with red and yellow striped sweatbands crossing the top cover her feet, solid and sturdy, without much of a heel and great for traveling long distances.

The long cape that drapes down Jade’s back is dual-colored, black on the outside and red on the inside. It’s made of a flowey material, lightweight and more for show or an ability to hide oneself more than any warm material. It flows down in a slender cut almost to Jade’s feet, bottom cut in a somewhat jagged edge that flows and moves with her movement. The inside of the cape is a deep red color in an almost silken style material, much the same color as her hair and the pendant clasped at her throat. The outer part of the cape is black, matching the rest of her attire (minus the armor) and excellent for obscuring her from view when needed. After all, a woman who wants little to do with people and enjoys acting as a lone wolf would favor anything that helps her blend into the shadows.

Completing Jade’s attire is a sword that’s almost as long as she is tall. The broadsword is easily four feet in length, bowing inward in its cut before curving out to a wider angle before the tip. The handle is more than a handle, but an ornamental decoration of gold that spikes out in the edges in an almost spider-like design. The handle itself sneaks upward from the spikes, a thick golden handle with the same red jewel enclosed in its make as the one at Jade’s neck. It seems her armor and the sword have been made from the same properties, if not from the same person altogether. It matches with the rest of her attire, and completes the intimidating look that it would appear she’s going for.

Perhaps if one actually got to know Jade better, they might see another side besides this one. But then again, they’d have to get past her to learn.
