Hi! I'm well. Just been trying to get back into driving school so I can take additional driving lessons.

You can always look up and try ways to be more engaging. I'm not sure where specifically you can learn that but maybe pinterest or youtube.
Of course, practice or just talk to yourself out loud by yourself for a bit to get the ball rolling.
My issue is just being nervous when someone I don't know first speaks to me and it's a person I can't read very well.
I actually had development problems with my speech growing up and didn't want to ask questions to bring attention to myself in classes till now.

Oooh thank you. Yeah, I realize it's something I need to work on due to some self observing.
Interesting. I'm watching your channel now and you have excellent artwork. I would draw monsters and creatures or animals too
but I'm not good at it yet ,so, I just draw people or fanart.
I was gonna strive to be an excellent animator myself but it was too hard back then(keeping up with high school classes, advanced animation class which I didn't like much since
it was traditional animation but learned about 3D programs) for me to understand... Not sure I'd go back to it again now that it's been over 10 years...
I don't have an animation program or any thing to draw digitally ,so, I draw on paper too.

If I choose to work in the direction of celebrity nail work, I'd say Cardi B maybe, Megan thee Stallion, Mary J. Blige, and if she was alive, Aaliyah.
Only choose the first 2 because they would be good business like some female rappers today with their nails but I would want to work with clients that
have a good reputation, mentally and spiritually.

it's ok to not be extroverted. I actually engage a lot with people when it comes to what my interests are or if I have questions... I think the key to being engaging or social in this case, is to ask questions about the person until they ask about you or somewhere in between.
I know this because I too have talked about myself too much while getting to know people a lot but if I'm curious or truly want to get some information, I interview them like it's a late night show. Haha.
That way, they may feel somewhat comfortable with me and see " Hey, she's really caring and interested in me so I'm gonna talk to her more".

I think it just depends on the person to break the shell with, y'know?

Oh. Well, yeah... People back then did do it as a side hustle, right..
Yeah! In Texas, you may need a beauty license to do it and a lady who does natural and braiding got arrested or was in court for it some years ago.
Oh, lots of goals. I'll tell ya later in PMs but I will say to "love myself"whatever that means(lol. I don't understand the concept very well since I'm very neutral and
somewhat doubtful to myself) and self respect/confidence. biggrin

To get both my license, to feel more worthy as a person and that I belong to a good mindful society..
I think I would like to work with celebrities on their nails but working in my own apartment or house to do nails which is a much better option for me,I believe...

I'm practicing to be goal-oriented too. I never focus so much on it till this and last year but pretty glad I did. sweatdrop

It's fine. I thought you were just curious but didn't see how you repeated questions unless you're talking about the beginning of your comment. I'm working on being more social and aware of myself.

Hehe. Yeah. If ya look back in my comments posts, you may be able to see your post there. Not too far deep, of course, since I myself haven't been here in a very long time till a few months ago and just started talking to more people now.

That's good. I'm glad you're doing all right and not getting too sucked into the internet. You're not missing much.
I've been pretty good. Been busy with life and family with my unintentional hiatus from Gaiaonline. Still with my family, exploring more on my self care journey including consistency in working & achieving my long and short term goals. Other than that, I'm just relaxing and letting life flow till I see and find my trail... I go to physical therapy now and drink coffee. haha.
I have not taken another attempt to pass my last hair exam due to personal reasons but I enrolled into a physical driving school for the very first time and have to take another exam to get my license...
I was very nervous about driving but it turned out it's something I really want to do, learn and explore if I ever get a job in it. Not heavy truck driving though. lol. I like to be very useful to myself as an adult and humanity since that's my dream.

To be honest, I would like to learn more about nails than hair but hair braiding/twisting is quite magical and I intend on learning it. 3nodding

Too be bad you need a cosmetologist's license to do it legally for strangers especially natural afro/tight coily hair. stare
Back then, you had to get a braiding license( don't quote me)? Or some sort of certification or none at all.
