Yeah, our cohort was the first in our school to have weekly QCS sessions. We had lots of dumbasses, so we wasted a whole term of going through stuff like your/you're, their/they're/there, how to use a protractor, solving x+5=8. -__-
They hardly helped, only the practice exams kinda helped and we only did those 2-3 times.
I got like a 2(+) for my first WT piece (topic was 'Shape', I think), then a 1(0) for my second (topic was 'Circle'). They were both scientific journal article sorts of things - I ended up duplicating the 1(0) grade report for the real WT (literally, like same words and sentences - topic was 'Time' or something), and I guess it worked out well.

Sounds like a pretty interesting read. I don't think our school could have survived with a topic like that. O: Your school is most likely a lot more competitive than mine.
I suck at story writing, so I steered clear of that for QCS WT...
One of our later assignments was to deconstruct a poem, then pitch the plot of your own story based on it. I analysed the poem easily, but I only came up with the story the day before presentation. It was really lame, but I got like a B10 anyway haha

Anyways, good luck with yr 12. It really isn't that bad of a year. Should be pretty cruisy. (:

Haha, yeah, exam time. I've got some coming up next month but I've done NO study. Probably won't for another week or two. razz
Life story of about 75% of uni students right there...

So you're doing OP English? What's the topic about this time?
Reminds me of the QCS test - everyone kinda craps themselves about that, but last year's felt easy, then I ended up acing it. smile
You know how the QCS test grading works out and all yet? We didn't really know until a few weeks before the test...
