I'm writing a poem for Evan- if you want to know who this is you can find it in my About section on my profile, and the first journal entry- and will later make it into a song. Right now I only have two stanzas, but I spent a lot of time on them and put a lot of thought and feeling into them also. I'm very happy with what I have of it so far. I'm not sure on the title yet...please give me your thoughts on the poem and any opinions/suggestions you have for a title. Thank you!
I long for your smile;
I long for your love.
And I want you to know
It's hard to watch you go.
Don't let me be a memory that fades with time,
I know you'll always be on my mind.
You're the one that's always in my dreams,
You're the one that makes me want to scream.
You are the music that makes my spirits soar high;
It gives me the strength to fly high in the sky.
