As it burns
A blaze of thunder strikes
The trees burst to flames
I’m standing there, baffled at the site of this event.
The trees suddenly catch fire.
The burning wood sent fills my nostrils.
I hear the cries of my fellow forest inhabitants.
I see the flaming foliage.
I feel the soot in the ground.
Suddenly a cracking sound startles me.
The tree falls and crashes down on my back.
Blackness….Everything was black….


Glow
The wind blows the tall grasses and it fills my nose
With the sent of the wildflowers.
It blows through my fur.
The leaves on the trees shake.
I slowly stride to the top of the hill to see the sunset.
The sun was setting with a beautiful orange glow.
Everything around it was colored the same way
As it sunk down into the horizon.
