From the Mind of God.
I'm not honestly sure what to write here. I haven't used this feature that often, but we'll see what happens.
Too Human
((Unrelated to Crimson Crisis.))

They keep me like this.
Endlessly, they walk on in front of me, these humans in their white coats.
This resentment I feel, it is intermixed with my love. I know I must choose one, but it doesn't seem plausible.
They created me, these humans. They raised me in this tube. They cluster, sometimes touching the chamber, to see if I react. Sometimes I do, and they seemed pleased.
I only know one purpose. They don't tell me, but I know. I can see it in their eyes.
I was created to destroy.

My arms, once sleek and smooth, are now covered in a dull armor, blurred in this fluid they hold me in. The wires they have attached to my neck float far away, out of my range of sight. They collect information from it, for what purpose, I do not know.

They're planning something, though, I can feel it. I read their lips. 'It's almost time.' 'the tests are almost prepared.' 'Almost complete.'
Almost.
But this has changed, there is a new look in their eyes, a shift. They're excited, these humans.
Almost is no longer. It has ceased to exist.
'The test are prepared.'
'It is complete.'

Now, as they drain this fluid from around me, oozing into a grid on the floor, I get to stand on my own two legs for the first time. They watch, mesmerized. Then they seem confused. They push buttons viciously. 'Won't open.' 'Chamber locked.'
They couldn't let me out.

So I did it for them.

I raised my arm in front of my face, watching it's brilliant shimmer. I understand something these humans could not.
I knew my own power.

I closed my dull, grey eyes. The wire, connected to me for so long, pulled itself out of my neck, flowing back into the ceiling. I couldn't see, but I knew the humans had seen. Silently, I rested my hand against the glass.

And let it crumble around me.

The room was buzzing. A hum came from the machines and the lights. There was a slight trickling sound as the glass powder rolled onto the floor. The humans were silent, staring at me.

Then as I opened my eyes, they focused on a man standing in front of me. He was old, far older than I, though he watched me with awe and something I was no accustomed to; pride.

Then, as our gazes locked, he told me the words I had been waiting for.

"It's time."
