New bulletins were posted in the center square. Same ole things. Wanted dead or alive, workers wanted , kill a monster in the woods...etc. The bounty hunters eyes went down the list of aids. One, however, was rather interesting:
Help Wanted: “A comrade and I were exploring the northern wood just a few days ago. We were attacked by a monster and were separated. I managed to escape though I have no idea where my comrade ended up...I need an escort and bodyguard to the northern wood to find him. I will pay 4000 pounds to my escort for this task. 2000 pound, of course, will be given before hand and full payment in the end.” Contact Simon Raen at the outskirts of the town at dawn.
First off, the northern woods held no monsters. The hunters of the olden days had see personally to that with a spell. Second, why so much to find a comrade? If he were a comrade, he shouldn't have been abandoned in the first place. Why would this Simon Raen not want to meet in the bar, hotel, or another public place?
The Bounty Hunter decides to figure this out and take up the aid ripping it off the post board.

They were human born or so they believed until they started hearing each others thoughts and later on talking, feelings, and wounds. Simon and his brother kept their power a secret from all. Once the age of 21 they drifted from each other. A year later, Simon decided to visit his brother for their birthday. He traveled through the northern woods. He worked as a blacksmith and avoided many people because he heard Simons thought too much. He did not wish to chance a slip of their gift. However, he started noticing a man watching. Von gripped his sword while he walked to his home. The stranger was there and happened to be a vampire. Von awoke the next day as a vampire. He sliced his sire's arm and escaped. History of this thread--(My characters don't work out in other roleplays. I wish to try them in their own. Follow gaian laws. I'll ask my partner --whoever you are. ) I'm going for Steam-punk Northern Woods: A forest that had been hazardous to walk through 200 years ago due to all the monsters that lived within. However, a magical pack of hunters went in and cleared it creating a barrier to block out monsters. Certain races were given charms to pass through the woods without feeling the looming force of death. Monsters or other races without a charm will show signs before dying after an hour of entering it.

Simon Raen
Simon was near white in sunlight. His hair mirrored snow.He was eerie and bright at the same time. He was waiting by the village outskirts. His eyes watched as people wondered by. At their glance, his lips covered into a smile. Though his features made him seem vampiric, he was not. Simon made that clear as he showed his fangless teeth to the crowds. Standing in sunlight was not enough now-a-days to humans. Simon prayed that a hunter or some form of bodyguard arrived soon.
Simon checked those around. He avoided several people these days. Vampires and vampire hunters. Either one would kill him on sight. The vampires due to his brother Von's actions and the vampire hunters simply by appearance. Simon's pale gray eyes scanned over each silhouette of the strangers. He watched for body language and those who might have passed him several days now. He had been there long enough for the enemies to track him as well. Simon couldn't help it either really. The village had some of the best weapons makers in the lands. It was the perfect site for bounty hunters and bodyguards. The village was fairly close to the woods he needed to go to. A three day journey.
The male would rather take the roads by himself to avoid questions, but he could not use a weapon. Von...was hard to reach and drew in too much attention. Simon sighed low as he was slightly relieved from the lack of enemies. He checked his pocket for his watch. He always waited from dawn each day. At this moment, he just wanted something to do seeing as he was beginning to look very much out of place. Five days of doing this had the villager glancing at him curiously. Children enough began wondering up tendatively puzzled as to the reasons he was there. "I'm meeting an old friend who's told me to be hear at dawn between these days. He's traveling on foot so he may take a few days.I don't know of which day he will arrive so I come on each dawn." He stated to them and they would run off to explain to other.
The town must think he was a spirit of a traveler who is stuck in the same time drift. They might try to exorise him one of these times. Simon wondered if he was a spirit himself as his flesh was lacking color. He shook his head at the thought. He couldn't be after all he could sit on the ground and he wasn't stuck in time either. He sighed thinking while the sun changed.

Bounty hunter(User): Kait Kimishi Name: Damien Tatsou Serafino Sexual Orientation: Seke Age: 23 Race: unknown Weapons: A Katana Powers: no one has ever seen them History: No one truly knew where this guy was from. They just see him around. People start to wonder but no one truly knows. There were so much rumors of what and where he was from. One rumor said that he killed his family then ran away. Some people swear they see blood on his shirts sometimes. Everyone is wrong. Everyone always asks Damien to do all the hunter stuff and guard stuff because of how tough he seems and dark. He did those side jobs because he was bored. Pic:
Standing by a window Damien looked out. He didn't mind the sun but he was more of a night person. The black sky with small lights and a mood always attracted him. He hadn't left his house yet. He wasn't ready yet. He just hopped that when he walked outside that he would have a job to do when he got to the board. He didn't want to be bored yet again today. He had to do something today.
Damien walked out of his house. His house was on the outskirts of town. People were to scared of him and they didn't want him to hurt them. The vampires and Vampire hunters didn't even go near him. He was the outsider but people liked him because he would hunt anything and be a body guard to anyone. They trusted their life with him more then others because they knew he was just doing this stuff for something to do and not money or anything.
As Damien walked he was stopped by people. They told him the news because he was the toughest and they didn't want to go near the person. They asked Damien to go see what the person wanted. Damien shrugged "Which way is the person no one wants to go close?" He asked the person that was telling him to go. They pointed to where the person's direction was.
Seeing the person from a distance Damien shrugged "I will check it out and see what the person wants. " He said. He started walking in the direction of the person he hasn't seen in this town before. He hopped that this would be something interesting and not just boring normal thing that he usually has to do. He wanted to get out of this town even if it was for a while. It gets boring here after a while. He had his own stuff like his Katana. He usually always has his pack of stuff so he can walk along and go places that instant.
Damien walked up to the person. He looked up and down the person seeing if there was any challenge with the person. He noticed the person had no weapons and his aura wasn't threatening. Damien smirked a bit because it was funny people didn't like the kid but the kid wasn't dangerous. Damien could sense that their was something beyond just the kid. He didn't know what it was but he didn't care. It was a secret and he wasn't a person to pry into things "Do you need any help. People are getting antsy with you being here but I don't know why." His voice was calm and devoid of emotion like usual. He never really shows what his emotions are to other people. It is a weakness
Simon waited long and was not to happy by the looks he was getting once more. This time by those looked like hunters. The blonde leaned on the wall at the entrence still even as he believed he should run fast. In fact his body seem ready to bolt into the woods.
A shadow loomed over him in his thoughts about going to the woods himself.The irises of white or grey shifted upward and gazed into the dark haired male. He seemed like a hunter with his long sword. But, was he here to end him or full fill his aid. Simon smiled at the stranger.
"Much indeed. The people were like that when I placed the ad in the town's center...Could you blame them for being antsy? I am a stranger here and been here for several days now doing nothing, but seem like a vampire." He chuckled slightly. Pale as the moon and eerie as he hadn't moved from the spot to eat once."Are you here for the ad?" He asked. "I am merely assuming you are a hunter and forgive me if I am wrong by doing so." He explained standing straight as he felt a bit tiny to the male.
His eyes glanced up to the sky. He was making sure the time. He didn't want to stay out in the dark. "I need an escort to the Northern wood. I will give you a great amount for this difficult task. My comrade and I were separated from each other and I am fearing the worst. We were attacked by a monster." It was a lie as no monsters had been in those woods since the olden day which a band of hunters used a spell to fix that problem. The word comrade would surely cause problems as if in war soliders would never abandon their comrade.
Simon had a back up story incase his helpers became to curious as to why they were in the woods and why he left his friend there by himself. Simon stared clearly into his eyes though and waited to see what would come first.

Damien knew they both were being looked at weird. He was getting looked at by rage because he was the best hunter and body guard. He also has more ground here. He knew that the white snow haired boy was being looked at weird because he looked like a vampire and he was a stranger.
Damien had to look down on the white haired boy when he was talking. He felt so huge like a giant. It kinda made him feel weird because he knew he was tall and strong but this guy was pretty short compared to him.
"Yes That used to happen to me when I first entered this town two. People dont like new people as much. You look like a vampire is also another reason why they don't really like you because some people in this town hate vampires. Your lucky I don't." He said to the other boy. He smirked when the boy asked if he was a hunter "You can call me a hunter or a guard. I only do these things as side jobs. They keep me from doing nothing all day." He said.
Damien bent down to the white haired boy's level. He put his mouth close to the other's ear. "If anyone knew the forest around this place it would be me and I know their are not any monsters in the woods. I will help you because no one else will and I am the most suited for this job. I know the forest really well from living here for so long." He whispered lightly in the other's ear.
The other's looked at Damien wanting to know what they were talking about. Damien waved everyone off "Have fun with your crummy jobs Hunters" He waved. He turned to the white haired boy "Are we going to leave today or right in the morning tomorrow. I really don't mind either way." He said to the white haired boy.
Simon was glad he was not the only one whom of which had been treated this way. He smiled greatly and listened further while the hunter spoke. He tilted his head a bit. "Hunter or a guard...How about I call you by your true name instead of titles." Simon told closing his eyes briefly. Simon thought about the vampires. That was another thing he had to worry about. "Umm...How well do you do with vampire?" He asked nervously. He didn't wish to put the male at risk for a journey for selfish reasons.
Simon shuddered at how close the hunter came.He grimaced at the truth of Northern woods. Indeed there was no monster. This made Simon grow sad as he needed a guide and bodyguard. Simon was about to tell him another lie when Damien said he would help. This was great news as he waited a while. It was also a low blow because he expected the hunter to wonder as to why he needed a guard for a monster less area. Simon's bright smile returned though.
"Thank you. Of course, I will be giving you part of the reward now." He chuckled as he heard the Damien told to the others disregarding them and telling them to back off. "Crummy? How would you know if this one wasn't crummy, Hunter? "
As he went on, he asked which would be best to start by. He was eager and needed to go while he was still the main one. "It's best if we go as soon as possible. My ...My brother is to meet us in the woods before dark. Do you believe we will make that time now?" Simon stated. He shifted a bit in his shirt as he was curious of how much the hunter needed to travel. Simon was ready to go that second. He started to hunt through his pocket for the money to prove his seriousness and to prove this was not some nonesense of a journey.
Damien was almost shocked at why he would ask such a thing like how well does he do with vampires. He knew some vampires were nice but he could also fight a vampire if he needed. He knew all there was to fight or not fight anything. "Call me Damien if you have to. If you ask anyone no one knows anything but my first name. You don't need to know." He said. He really never really liked to say his full name some demons knew his full name and why he got it.
Damien smirked when he saw the other grimaced. He knew this would freak the other out but not because the other didn't know but because the other knew and decided to lie about it. Damien shock his head but he wanted something better to do in the boring time he has doing hunting stuff.
"Your welcome" He said to the other boy. Damien shrugged at the other and smirked as he said "Your aura. It tells me different. You have some secret that you don't like telling and if another hunter accepted you would know that they would ask questions but as you can see I have secrets of my own." He said.
Damien nodded usually he had to wait a day when he accepted someones task. they always wanted to grab stupid stuff they didn't need. Damien had all he needed always just in case he had to leave that day. He had things that were needed which is only cloths because he can find food himself easily "I could leave right now." He said. He looked at the sky it about 5 o'clock "We would of course make it to the forest before dark." He said. .

"Nice to met you. I'm Simon Raen. I will respect you wishes on that." He told.His eyes had not moved off the other even as he hit near the reason. Simon was unmoved and calm. "Yes I have a secret. I don't like the sunlight. It makes me seem lik a ghost." Simon sighed. He reached out for Damiens hand to shake it with pouch of coins waiting in it.
Simon shrugged, "Other than that I am don't have any." He was thrilled. He could be there before dark.As Damien explained they could leave now Simon nearly jumped. "We could? You need not to grab anything for this journey? " It meant Damien was that good. Simon should be safe in the travel and Damien seemed to let go of the why they were going. Simon smirked. "Good lets be off if you don't need anything."
He needed to be there before dark. He also would need to explain to his brother and to Damien.Von would not enjoy this and surely he would try to leave the woods for their safety. He needed to somehow make sure Damien kept Von with them. "Umm...by any chance do you have the hunter's charm needed for safe travel through the woods."
Damien nodded and held out his hand. He wasn't usually a shaker of hands but he could tell by the posture of the other that Simon was going to give him money. Damien really didn't care but it helped him pay for things if he has the money.
Damien nodded his head at Simon when said 'other than that I dont have any'. He didn't believe it but he didn't care either way it wasn't his life so he wasn't woried about someone else's secrets when he has his own. "I have everything I need so we can go this second. Before I leave the house I always grab things for trips just in case this stuff happens" He said.
Damien sighs at the last question he asked. He did have one and it was always in his bag but sometimes he just felt like he didn't need it. The charm always made it too easy to do anything. Damien hated easy things but he always had it to make sure the other person feels more safe. Damien took it out of his bag and handed it to Simon "You can hold it through the whole trip. Don't worry about me I know this place and I have been through the forest a million times without that charm." He said. He wasn't worried about himself. People usually asked for the charm when they want to leave town.

Simon pushed the charm back in his hand. "I merely asked if you had one. I didn't say I needed one. " He explained. "It is sign that you are who you say you are. All hunters have them. I didn't want another thief thinking I was a free pass. " Hearing the male had everything he let out a soft sigh and started to move. "Then we should head that way now." The pale one told.
"Now, the villagers don't have to worry about me anymore." He laughed lightly to himself though loud enough for Damien to hear. He waved at the few kids who did manage to talk to him. "By the I'm going to be...exploring a bit so I may take up your time greatly. Hope that isn't going to ruin any of your plans Damien but like I said I am greatly appreciate this."
His walk seemed more a glide. Simon looked back to see if he was following. He wasn't sure what else to tell the male. He need to find it and sometime before Von decided to wake up and take over. He had to be deep within the woods and make sure he didn't give Von a chance to run from the woods. "How good are you with others? Can you persuade someone to ..maybe stay and work with you?"
He ws sure Von would curse the hunter out and try to flee. Then, Simon would not get this chance again. He couldn't really explain it to Von. Not yet. He also needed to figure out where to start looking.
Damien shrugged at what the other was saying. He put the charm back in his backpack. He nodded knowing that there were some of the thieves in the town. They never go near Damien. If they wanted something they would have to go to someone else and never go near Damien. "Yes we should if you want to get their before dark." He said to reply to the other.
Damien chuckled when Simon said the villagers didn't have to worry about Simon anymore. "And they wont have me for a while" His voice was amused as he thought about how much whining the village did. "Nope I dont mind. I rather explore than stay in a boring town. " He explained to the other.
Damien was fallowing Simon close behind. He knew this trip would be different from others. He sensed it right when he looked at the other's poster and saw the look the other gave out. He let out a chuckle as he looked at the other, "How do you think I became a hunter or Guard" He said. He had to persuade the hunter people to grant him the stuff he needed because usually as a hunter you have to give the whole name to the person who will give you a charm for stuff.
Damien knew that the secret Simon now had to deal with someone else because of the question Simon asked. Damien really didn't care what about secrets of other people. He had to keep his own from finding out. He had to keep his name secret from the demons or other mythical creatures because he didn't feel like living up to his name at this specific [ooc: weird thing to know I can not say the word specific at all] time.
