The punch from Skylar to incapacitate the offender induced a wince from Haruki, mainly because of the imagination. At the sight of the eye color change, however, he was shocked. Does that mean that his- He had no time to ponder because the offender bumped him on the chest with the back and he simply grabbed the man by the collar, their faces just inches close to each other. "You heard him. The next time you try, you may not be that lucky. You'll get worse than just the punch on the face." And with that, he let go but the man scrambled away from the club, frightened as hell. The bartender sighed, rubbing his own temple. "Such a pain in the butt."

Skylar was standing to the side,watching the offender run off white trying to reign in his emotions and get his inner demon under control. It would not end well if it came out here. This is why he hated large groups. He sighed as he ran a hand through his blue hair as his demon finally calmed down. Yeah. It was time for him to go and he started making his way to the exit, people around him moving out of the way. He would have spoken to Haruki but he just couldn't face him at he moment. He hated losing control of himself and being around the bartender, especially now when his demon was still active was a recipe for disaster.

By the time Haruki recovered from the rubbing motion, he saw Skylar walking away towards the exit of the club, and panic hit him square in the chest. "Skylar, wait!" He also weaved through the crowd, having to excuse himself to lessen the annoyance. But by the time he was clear from the crowd interference, the incubus was nowhere to be found. Now, Haruki would only hope that the blue-haired was still deciding to take a cab back home. Hopefully, by the time they would meet up next time, the other would be calming down, allowing for a more civilized conversation. The bartender had no choice but to return back inside.

Anyway had indeed taken a cab back home. He sighed as he leaned back into the seats, shaking his head as he thought abut the last few minutes of the club. He had beard Haruki calling him but he hadn't stop until he was out and had hailed a cab. He just could not face him at the moment. He decided that he would call him later and apologize. Or Haruki would call him. After paying for the cab, he hurried inside the building, not stopping u til he was safely within his apartment with the door locked.

The hour until he could finally clock out from work had passed, and Haruki's mood was laced with worry by the time he exited the nightclub, allowing the boss to close the establishment to wrap it all up. Just like Skylar, he opted for a cab for the lift back to his apartment. By the time he arrived at the living room, he was exhausted as hell, taking off his shoes and jacket before flopping onto the couch. It was a good thing that the chef gave him the nacho dinner or he would be hungry. A few TV shows would distract him, but he was not in the mood for them at the moment. He was staring at the ceiling as he contemplated about the change. He was certain that Skylar was now afraid since he was about to unleash the beast in him. If it wasn't for the incubus calming down, it would grow worse.

Skylar sighed to himself as he sat on his couch, watching the TV but not really seeing or hearing it. He felt so bad that he had ignored Haruki at the club but he hadn't wanted the other to see him liken that. After a few seconds he decided that he would sent a text as he didn't trust his voice at the moment. With hat thought he picked up his cell and did just that. Hey. I am sorry about the scene at the club. he sent after a few seconds and the placing it to the side as he brought his knees up to his chest and resting his head on them as he waited.

He was now yawning after a while, the urge to go to sleep too strong. As he was about to stand up, the phone vibrated in his pocket and he had no choice but to pick it up. The message was from Skylar, apologizing for the outburst earlier. He sighed before replying. You did scare me a bit with those eyes of yours, but other than that, it's alright. He sent the message before standing up, slipping the phone back into his pocket before picking up his things and heading to the bedroom, grabbing his sleeping clothes for the nightly ritual. Perhaps, some sleep would help to keep himself relaxed after the shower.

Skylar was dozing off when he heard his phone go off. He picked it up, read the message and smiled. I am sorry about that. It was an instinctive reaction. Anyway, thanks for sticking up for me. I wish you a good night. he replied before heading to his own bedroom to get some sleep. It was a good thing he was off the next day and e en if he wasn't, he would have called in. But he was happy that Haruki still liked him.

The shower lasted for ten minutes and he emerged from the bathroom, feeling refreshed. As if on cue, the phone rang and he checked the incoming message. It was Skylar's reply, saying that he was relieved. He chuckled before replying. Good night to you, too. He sent the message and placed the phone on the nightstand before lying down on the bed to get some rest. At least the incubus was relieved that Haruki wasn't completely angry at the situation earlier. That thought was enough to keep him at peace for the time being.

Skylar read the text and smiled once again before placing his phone on charge on the bedside dresser before slicing into bed. Now , he could put this thing behind him and with that thought. He turned off his lamp, snuggled under the blankets and heard off to sleep. The last thing on his mind being that Haruki was still his friend and that it stayed that way. At least until they wanted something more.

The next morning, however, Haruki was greeted with a rapid downpour of rain, something he was not thrilled about. After his morning shower and change of clothes, he settled for hot black coffee as his beverage alongside his eggs, bacon and toast. The current news was about the weather, a possible typhoon coming to the city. He sighed, knowing that he would have to wear his rain gear when going out, especially for work. It took him ten minutes to finish his breakfast before washing the dishes before picking up his bag, loaded with essentials, and leaving his apartment, bringing his keys along. He was wearing his raincoat and he held the opened umbrella over his head as he waited for a cab to pick him up.

Skylar awoke to the sound of rain pelting against his window, wincing at how loud it was. He was not a big fan of rain. In fact it made him all but lethargic and was impossible to get him to move. So, with a shake of his head, he turned over and went back to sleep. He hoped that Haruki would be okay in his mess. He decided that he would try calling later to check on him. His mother too.

It took him five minutes to finally get a cab to give him a lift to the nightclub. However, there was a slightly heavy traffic ensuing and he sighed, feeling less thrilled about him. By the time he arrived at the workplace, he was slightly drenched with his face and hands being wet. He took off his raincoat and left the umbrella open to dry before clocking in for work. His groupmates were busy by the time he met up with them, but nonetheless, he went on with the usual task of tidying up the bar after warming up thanks to the chef's hot green tea. He was certain that with that current weather, the chances for Skylar to meet up with him was slim.

Skylar had woken up when the rain started to get a little heavier. He blinked a few times, wondering why it was so far before realizing that it was really cloudy outside. Ah, that is why. With a shake of his head he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom for a shower. He had no intention of going out in that type of weather and hoped that Haruki was doing okay. He made sure to send the other a text, asking him to call him whenever he got the chance as he wanted to know if the bartender was okay.

To keep himself distracted from such bad thoughts, he went on with the task, wiping the countertops, sending the glasses for the dishwasher to clean, and even sweeping the floors. Plus, he even arranged the bottles and tidied up his tools and supplies. But still, it wouldn't change the fact that the rain resumed its rapid downpour. By the time he was done, there was a thin film of perspiration coating his forehead and he wiped it off with a towel. The temperature was not that warm anymore because of the chilly air permeating through the open glass windows. They could just let the air conditioners have their rest to save on energy costs for the entire month.
