Skylar sat on his couch, hot chocolate in hand as he watched the news. It was supposed to rain for the remainder of the day and sometime into morning, stopping by afternoon. He frowned at that before deciding to call his mother and check on her. Once he confirmed that she was fine, he decided to just stay inside Goethe rest of the day.

Once he was done wiping the sweat off his forehead, he settled down on one of the stools, resting his entire body there. The chef gave him another cup of the warm tea and Haruki smiled in thanks as he took a cautious sip. Thanks to the tea, his body was feeling the warmth and a faint blush was spread on his cheeks. Once he was done with the tea consumption, he stood up and decided to be alone for a short while back in the employee area. Indeed, now he wanted to text Skylar, but he should wait till the rain slowed down a bit. Signal reception would be disrupted by the bad weather, especially during heavy storms. He now picked up his phone from his pocket, pondering on what should be the message for the incubus.

Skylar had dozed off sometime during the day, half buried under his comforter, which he had gotten several minutes before. He was waiting on Haruki to contact him but he knew that it probably would be difficult because of the weather but hopefully he will soon. He didn't mind waiting as Haruki was worth it. He settled deeper under the blanket, the rain placing him deeper into sleep .

It took him ten seconds to finally come up with the reply. His fingers were quick but accurate as he typed via the keyboard. Hey, sorry I'm late. Rain is a killer and I know you may be sleeping or doing something else, but I hope you are doing fine even with the rain outside. He then sent the message and he breathed deeply for a few seconds before exhaling and raising his head up to the ceiling. He hoped that the message would reach him, even if it would be delayed because of the poor signal reception.

Skylar stirred when he heard his phone start to buzz. He poked his head out from under the comforter, blinking slightly before grabbing his phone and reading the text. He smiled once he figured out that the text was from Haruki. I am fine. I was just sleeping as rain makes me sluggish. Thank you for responding and I hope that you are well, considering the weather. Stay safe, Haruki. he replied quickly, hoping he would get it as now thunder had become pet of the mix and would probably mess up reception even more.

Because of the reception, the message was a minute late than the usual, but nonetheless, he smiled before slipping the phone back into his pocket. Indeed, it would be a long day with the rain still crashing down, but that message was enough to keep his worries at bay. Two hours later, the rain finally stopped, though there was no sunlight breaking the thick veil of gray clouds just yet. He checked the outside scenery through the window and breathed a small sigh of relief. There may be less customers coming in later tonight, but better than nothing.

Skylar stared out of his window with suspicion. It had stopped raining for now but he was still wary. He was debating on whether or not to go out to eat or stay inside. And then a thought came to him. Maybe he could bring Haruki lunch. The more he thought about it the more he liked it. Plus, it could be a thank you for standing up for him last night. Anyone could get something for himself as well while he was at it as he did not feel like cooking at the moment. He hoped Haruki would not mind. He made sure that he had everything, including his umbrella before heading out.

His time alone was interrupted by one of his co-workers who wanted to check on him. Haruki simply stated that he was feeling fine even with the trail of thoughts running through his head. He checked at the time only to see that it was close to noon, and his stomach growled. The chef would probably start cooking lunch for the crew that was present for the day, though it was also possible that Skylar would be dropping by to the night club. Whatever the option, his need for food won, and he retreated from the window to join his co-workers for the gathering.

Skylar quickly made his way down the streets food in hand. He had stopped at a cafe to get some lunch for himself as well as for Haruki. He entered the club but he was stopped from going further by a worker. He blinked before biting his lip, wanting to really see Haruki but the worker was giving him a hard time so he handed the lunch to the worker asking him to give it to the bartender, saying that Skylar was here before giving one last look at Haruki and his friends/Co-workers breaking for lunch before leaving.

Just as he was about to join in with his co-workers for lunch, an employee called out to Haruki, stating that someone by the name of Skylar had given him packed lunch. Blinking in wonder, the bartender picked up the packed lunch and smiled, glad that the incubus was thoughtful of the situation. But then again, there was a tease from the chef, asking if that regular was his significant other. Haruki blushed, blurting out with the fact that they were just close friends. It was because he didn't want to be made fun of with the possibility that the bartender may have a crush on the blue-haired male. He still had to keep it under wraps for the sake of safety.

Skylar made his way back home, happy that he was able to give Haruki the packed lunch. He hummed to himself as he started on his sandwich, glad that people weren't paying attention to him as they were too busy trying tonight get caught up in the weather, plus his aura was depressed whenever it rained so it was a plus. He decided that he would go back home and just chill fhere for the remainder of the day.

Because the container for the packed lunch was small, fit for only two to three people, Haruki had to decline the offer to share it with almost everyone in the club. The bartender was the one eating the biggest portion alongside the chef's specialty and the fizzy pop drinks as the beverage. Indeed, it was a good gathering for them all, not realizing that sunlight began to breach through the thick veil of clouds. Not that it would matter much anyway, since the party tonight was still the main event. He could only hope that there were fewer events of misdemeanor unlike last night.

Skylar had just closed the door to his apartment when he saw the sun start to shine. Well, that put a spin on his plans as he had been planning on staying inside. Hm. What to do? After a second or two to think about it, he decided that he would stay in until he could find something to do. Or Haruki called him. He had hoped tha the other enjoyed his lunch. He had felt like a schoolgirl in that moment and orgasm taken all his self-control not to run out of thief squealing.

Finally, night had begun, meaning it was time for him to mix some drinks for the crowd. Fortunately, aside from a few fistfights and one incident of having to touch each other a bit too provocatively, which led the offenders back outside thanks to the bouncers, there was no other offense to ruin the party. This time, a colleague of Haruki's, the present DJ for the event, was present to add the music for the event. Indeed, alcohol flowed a bit too much as the party went on, with some customers ending up passing out on the counter. Their companions had to carry them on the seats to give them time to sleep, or even to drive them back to their homes.

Skylar was deciding if he should go to the club tonight to see Haruki. But after last night, he wasn't so sure. Plus, he didn't want to cause Haruki any problems. He aoghed to himself as he leaned back on his couch. to go or not to go, that was the question. He sat there deep in thought as he tried making his descion. He really wanted to see Haruki but....he didn't know if he could hold back his demon if he was angered again. After some thought, he decided he was gonna go and went to his bedroom to get ready.
