A NightClub Experience(Kuri and Mistress)

Tha bartender was happy when the other accepted his hand. The music continued on as they danced, with Haruki resting his free hand on the other's hip. There was some clapping from the co-workers who were enjoying the scenery in front of them. The two were indeed lost in the music as they swayed gently in time with the tune. More importantly, their faces were now inches apart from each other, as if someone was ready to give the other first, except that Haruki didn't want to do the act with other people watching. He didn't want a commotion to occur all because of that simple gesture of affection.

Skylar blushed even more when Haruki placed his hand on his hip while he placed his own hand on the other's shoulder as they swayed to the sound of the soft music. Their faces were really close and if either of them leaned forward their lips would touch into a kiss,but he wanted something like that to be private. With just the two of them, so instead he smiled at the bartender and rested his head on the other's shoulder.

The bespectacled man wouldn't mind if the incubus decided to shift the position of the head. Though there were some whining noises of disappointment, Haruki didn't care, all because he respected the incubus' decision to wait till later. It wasn't long before the music ended and they both let go, with the bespectacled man feeling glad that it was all over. Later, the bartender gave them all the painful flicks on the forehead for being a bit too pushy, which earned some pouts from the coworkers. Nonetheless, he secretly enjoyed being closed to Skylar, though the next stage would wait till later.

Skylar watched him go, feeling slightly disappointed but just shooting off. He knew that it was to soon for them to do anything...but he had still hoped. Even with that, it felt nice dancing with Haruki. It had been a very long time since he felt so comfortable in someone's arms. With a quiet sigh, he headed back to the bar, retaking his seat and falling into thought. He didn't know what was happening to him as he had never felt like this about anyone, male or female. And then it hit him. He didn't have a crush on Haruki. No, he was falling for him.

Finally, the shift was over for the night after a few hours. Haruki exited the nightclub, waving goodbye to his co-workers and keeping the huge tips in his wallet. It was a hectic night, with the performance and all that jazz, but at least he earned some money to pay his next month's bills. He had to settle down, wanting to rest his tired feet. With that in mind, he sat down on the bench that was part of the bus stop. He sighed before leaning his back on the top part of the seat.

Skylar had left the bar a few minutes before Haruki, his mind a mess. But not so much that he wasn't aware of his surroundings and made sure to keep an eye out for the random stranger or pervert. He closed the door to his apartment, leaning back against the door with a sigh. He stayed there for a few minutes before heading to the bedroom to change into his night clothes. He hoped that Haruki got home safe.

Finally, a bus was there, ready to give him a lift back to his apartment. Thankfully, there was no traffic, so the way back home was a bit quicker. He paid for the fare before leaving the bus once it stopped near the entrance to his apartment complex. Immediately, he ventured back to his apartment, flopping down on the couch as soon as he entered the living room. The memory of the dance was still fresh in his head and he blushed, shifting his head to the side so that it wouldn't be noticeable, partially concealed by the pillow he was holding.

Skylar sat on his bed, hugging a pillow to his chest as he stared outside his window and up at the night sky. Tonight was still burned into his memory and he didn't know what to think about it. His face took on a red hue as he thought about how close he and Haruki had been and he clutched his pillow tighter to his chest. If they hadn't been in public, then maybe they would've actually kissed and couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to kiss the bartender. With a sigh, he shook his head trying to get rid of the thought. Maybe one day he would find out but at the moment, it wasn't going to be anytime soon.

Ugh... that memory... That was his thought as he turned to the other side. A ring from his telephone interrupted his thoughts and he stood up from the couch with a grunt. With his bare feet pounding the floor a bit noisily, he picked up the handle. "Hello?" It wasn't long before his eyes dilated a bit in surprise, because it was the voice of his mom at the other end of the line. "Wait, how much do I have to send you for the medications?" Once the answer was given, he sighed. "I'll send the amount tomorrow before I'll go to work. See you later, Mom. Love you." Once the call was hung up, he positioned the handle back in place. His poor father was having fever and he had to get medicated or the illness would grow aggravated.

Skylar realized that he wasn't going to be able to sleep as the memory for earlier tonight kept replaying in his head, so he just decided to sit on his window sill and just stare up at the sky until he did. I wonder what Haruki is doing now? he thought before shaking his head once again. These feelings...he wasn't used to them and they confused him so much but hoped that one day they will be sorted out until then he was just happy just thinking about Haruki.

With that current dilemma now in his mind, he picked up his wallet from the bag, now counting how much he had earned from the tips. He knew that only a little would be left from the savings once he was done setting up the cash, but it was better than leaving the dad to be dead if the health was left unchecked. "Well... that should be enough." The cash was then put at the bottom of the remote controller before he departed to the bedroom together with the rest of his things. He could only hope and pray that the old man would be fine with the cash that he would send for tomorrow.

Skylar had decided to move from his bedroom to the living room where he was nursing a cup of hot chocolate and watching tv as he couldn't sleep. He just knew it was going to be one of those nights where he would never be able to sleep even if he was tired. He closed his eyes and sighed as he sank deeper into his couch, wondering why he couldn't sleep. Was it because of that dance at the club? Or Haruki himself? He didn't know but it was annoying as hell and he didn't think his mind could take anymore of this craziness.

The shower session was quick, lasting for around 10 minutes. He put on his night clothes as soon as he was done drying up and immediately went straight to his bed, lying down and staring at the ceiling. Both the current situation and his memory of the almost-kiss left him completely exhausted and he could only hope that the weather would go well tomorrow, or at least the downpour wouldn't be as heavy as before. Almost immediately, he went to sleep.

Skylar eventually did fall asleep, thanks to the hot chocolate and hoped that tomorrow would be better. He had work and maybe it would help him take his mind off of things and that almost-kiss. He shifted until he was comfortable, snuggling deeper into his comforter and drifted off to sleep, dreaming of Haruki and could be.

But now, his sleep was not without his dream of Skylar blushing, next to him as he wanted to feel more of his body, pulling him into a kiss. He woke up with a start, face now deep red from embarrassment and he sat up on the bed, pressing his hand against his forehead. Immediately, he dashed into the bathroom and splashed his face with cold water, trying to clear his thoughts of that dream. Great, he was now into the incubus and it was not a good sign, more so when he didn't want to jump into him because he valued his privacy.
