The Feeling After Surgery
Katio listened to the princes reason and nodded that he agreed. He was surprised by Alkott; he had met many kings and prince but not one of them had greeted him at the train station. They'd send guards or a maid to get him, and most of the time they walked. He sat back in the carriage, listening to Alkott's question. "Yes,that is true. This was my frist break sense the dance," he said, studying the other's face, "My country is still at war, so I've been along side my men on the field. The only reason they sent me back was because I was wounded. Somehow a woman from our village and her child ended up on the battle field, I made sure they got back safely." His wounds were still tender, so he keep his back off of the carriage seat.
