Can Italy become one?

Feeling a little hurt by those words, Feliciano hung his head. He could feel small tears stinging at his eyes, but he would hold them back. He didn't understand why Romano was so defensive when it came to his friends and the things he wanted to do. He felt so belittled by his brother, it made him depressed just by thinking about it. Sighing, he continued tending to the pasta, trying hard to act as though the conversation had never happened, no matter how hard it was.

Romano sighed, he did feel bad for speaking like he did. But he only wanted to protect his little brother. Feliciano was great at stuff like; art, cooking, cleaning, and pretty much everything else. The italian sat down in the grass; trying to protect his brother was the only thing was as kind of good at, other than being a screw up. Grandpa Rome liked Italy better, hell even Spain tried to trade him for his brother.

Feliciano leaned against the kitchen counter, drawing imaginary circles on the smooth surface with his finger for a while before remembering something important: He was cooking pasta. Cazzata!! (Crap!!) He thought to himself as he nearly jumped off the counter to turn the stove off before the water boiled over. Had he really been that deep in thought? Mentally facepalming himself, he carefully scooped the noodles out of the water and onto two plates. Taking the sauce his brother had prepared, Feliciano poured a generous amount of sauce on the plates of spaghetti. He let a small content smile appear on his face again as he made his way to the window to call his brother. "Fratello!" He called out. "The pasta's ready~"

Romano sighed again, getting up from his seat on the ground and headed into the house. He got out the wine, pouring himself a glass. "Che un po '?" (want some) he asked, bringing the bottle and an extra glass to the table. He sat down, taking a sip from the wine. Although a lot of other nation's liked beer, he hated the taste.

Nodding in response to his question, Feliciano took the bottle in hand, as well as the glass in the other, and poured himself some wine. Taking a seat across from the other, Feliciano sighed, taking a sip of his own wine.

Romano quietly ate his food, finishing his wine quickly. He poured himself another glass, and another; untill both the bottle and his food were gone.

Feliciano was almost finished with his pasta as he shared the wine with his brother. He had to admit, his mind and sight was a little buzzed, but he wasn't too drunk. He just hoped it wasn't too noticeable. He hummed a little, content and full by now.

Romano collected their plates, heading to the kitchen to clean them. He was pretty drunk, which made it hard for him to think straight. "Feli~ Come help me~" he cooed, holding onto the counter.

Smiling almost giddily, Feliciano nodded at his brother, standing up and stretching a little. "Hee~ 'kay~" He chirped happily as he half staggered his way to the kitchen to help Romano with the dishes.

Southern Italy held onto the countrer to keep himself from being to the floor. When they finished the dishes, he left them for his brother to put up.

Feliciano was a giggling mess at the moment, but he wasn't sure why. He just suddenly thought everything was funny; like the way his vision was blurry and that the wall seemed to jiggle in a funny way. It all seemed hilarious right now. Dizzily putting the dishes away, Feliciano, staggered out of the kitchen to find his fratello.

Romano was lsitting on the couch, when he spotted his brother. When the other italian got closer, he pulled him into his lap. "Sei così carino fratello~" (You're so cute brother) he said, kissing his cheek.

Letting out a surprised squeak when he was suddenly pulled into his brothers lap, Feliciano squirmed a little, but couldn't really put up a fight because of the current mind fuzz he was in. "F-Fratello~?" He looked up at the other in confusion, cocking his head with a light blush on his face.

"Carino fratellino~" (cute little brother) Romano hummed into Italy's neck. He nuzzled his face into his brother's neck, pretty drunk from the wine.

Shivering a little at the feeling of Romano's breath on his neck, Feliciano let out a small noise that could either be identified as surprised or lustful. Even he wasn't sure of the noise he made himself, but that didn't bother him. Strangely enough, he sort of liked being in this position. "F-Fratellone~" He purred a little, wrapping his arms around the other's neck.
