Garden of Dreams (Yaoi)

Rezar followed the short male. He wanted to go home. If this didn't get work, he wasn't sure what he would do. Rezar wandered the lands for other myths of immortality. This was the last one that he assumd was really. There was no other way. The word godling was annoying as he wasn't a child. In fact at that moment he wasn't a god at all. He was a mortal with his powers.

He wondered if Saeran wondered why a god would come for the fruit. How many times has this guardian gone through this that he didn't even bother asking that? Rezar even wondered how this male dealt with living here. He was not human if he stayed this long. Even animals need a change of scenery. Rezar remained silent though to this thought though as he didn't want the guardian to change his mind to leading him to the fruit in the first place.

'Do I want to kill him or not....' was what Saeran was thinking, he could just turn around now and drive his lance through the man's heart before he could even react but for some reason....a part of him didn't want to. It had been so long since he had seen someone in the garden, was this the feeling of loneliness that he had sometime had people ask him about?

They had asked him "aren't you lonely?" but...how could he be lonely? the garden was all he knew, he didn't need other people right? Saeran was drawn out of his thoughts when he entered the clearing where the tree bearing the fruit of life was placed. He leaned his lance against the trunk and then bowed, and silently waited for answer from the spirit of the tree. The spirit was an odd being, it was possessive of him and cruel and mocking towards people it didn't find worthy. The spirit had always told that he didn't need emotions or other people.

Saeran was his and he liked him the way he was.

Rezar was expecting the male to kill him soon. Usually guardian dangled whatever it was guarding then attacked like nothing before. He assumed Saeran was to do as many in his journey had done. And, of course Rezar would do what he was to do. He closed his eye briefly. Something was very off with his body. He didn't know what though. Yes he wasn't a god so in a sense his body was knew. He needed to eat and drink when he only did that for pleasure in his old body. His body bled.He was unsure where this blood came from nor did he understand human like emotions. Those were bothersome as well.

He tried opening his eyes but that was a tasks that had been plaguing him for the last very hours. each time it was much more difficult tokeep them open. The guardian blurred. Just a pathetic body.Rezar thought before he nearly collapsed on Saeran. He saw a tree as he tried to keep balance. He was there and yet so far. The words rest and should have rested echoed in his mind.

Saeran turned hearing the man collapse and was stunned to see Rezar had fallen unconscious. As it seemed like the spirit of the tree wasn't answering or for some reason wouldn't he decided it would be best if he took care of the man. He wasn't sure why the man had collapsed though he had thought that stuff like this didn't happen to the Gods but it appears he was wrong. He hefted the man up onto his shoulders and went search of a river that he knew ran through here. Saeran didn't know why he felt compelled to take care of this man since he had been so rude but he would do so anyways.

Rezar slept. He was out cold and and shuddered a bit. His brow moved in his sleep. He was trying to wake up. He was unsure what his body was doing. He grunted in slumber which made Saeran's lance ring out. Rezar's body ignored him. He was actually human since his tossing and had been without sleep for a week. This meant little to him and of course this was the result. His skin ripple a reptile's scales briefly and he curled towards the nearest place of heat. Being both metal and reptile he was dropping temperature.

Rezar hissed in his slumber as he couldn't stir and was left in the hands of the guardian. It was a rather loathe-some idea. He was sure he was going to have cuts and bruise. His stomach turned and growled. His body was bothersome with all these needs. Hunger, lack of sleep, and probably more. Perhaps it was because he was part metal that he made it this far. The ex god didn't wake for several hours as his body healed from what Rezar placed it through.
