❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇

Setting aside his complex emotions for a second and honestly speaking to himself. This time no more sudden bursts of inner screams or cries. 'Thanks.'He walked to the window and rested his arms on the sill, hands holding his face and sight peering at the neighbours yard. A shaft of chilly air impact his pallid skin splashed with redness. His calm caramel mane quivered by the touch of the refreshing wind running through it. He fixed his glasses and inhaled. It was now or bear the horrible implications followed by his childish antics. This has to stop. Shinya finally came back to his senses, regained his rationality.
Staring at the evergreen over at the other house coloured his amber eyes aqua. The power of beauty enchanted its viewer.
He refilled his confidence, making sure not lose it this time, retrieved his composure and self peace. It was about time he told him and cleared his conscious. The burden was unbearable. He slightly turned his head to look at Satoshi when another picture of his old habits came into sight. He still chewed onto his lips whenever nervous. Sighing inwardly, his lips separated and a soft tone drifted.

'Satoshi. I'm sorry.'
His apology was meant for their last days together before parting. He had done him wrong and let his terrors corrupt his soul.
Shinya left the window billow the curtain while he settled beside his friend. Wind insisted, traveled between his threads of mane. Tucking a wisp of hair behind his ears, he laid a regretful hand on his shoulder and looked down to his lap, not sure whether he would want to see his face after the confession
.
'And I'm sorry I pretended not to know you. I guess that was dumb of me,'
His feelings along with his soul refined and now was able to clearly understand his pounding heart. There was no lies, pretends or tension. Just him and Satoshi. Not wanting to make the air surrounding them tight and tense, he nudged his shoulder and smiled, his voice seizing its normalcy. Cheerful and friendly.
Satoshi rapt him the instant he sat beside him. His chest stabbed with blissful pain coming from his heart. It pumped harder and harder by each inch he closed, leaning to his face. His teal eyes, auburn mane, soft skin, shy silhouette, and most alluring, his tender lips. He gently took his head phones off and laid it on his left. His hands passed on his cheeks and pulled him near. Where did he feel like this before? His eyes drowsed and throat parched. His hearing blocked any outer noises and focused theirs only. Stop. Shinya paused.
'Your eye colour hasn't changed I see.` He ceased any further movement closer to him and let go, sitting back in place.

↠ Location: In Shinya's room
↠ With: Shinya
↠ Mood: Embarrassed and confused
↠ Wearing: Clothes

Satoshi had glanced over at Shinya once he was at his window sill. He felt his heart skip a beat at his looked at his familiar figure. The familiar figure that has grown into a young man... The light had hit his light brown hair in just the right ways... The teen quickly looked back down at his lap, sitting tensely.

When an apology left Shinya's mouth, Satoshi was caught off guard. "What...?" He asked with a confused tone. Why was he apologizing to him? If anyone should be apologizing, it should be Satoshi. He was the quiet and awkward one out of the two. He just seemed to always make awkward situations worse. The young man had obviously misunderstood Shinya's apology in terms of what he was saying sorry for. Satoshi's body tensed at Shinya's sudden movement to sit next to him. Was he trying to make things more awkward? He had went back to chewing on his bottom lip until the other began speaking again. "That's.. Okay.. You don't have to apologize," he told him.

The teen watched as Shinya's expression when from a tense, to relaxed. It was like a weight was lifted up his shoulders. He wondered if that was why Shinya was acting strange. He did have a lot of difficulty lying. When he did, it was almost seemed like he was hyperventilating. Now that he looked back on Shinya's earlier behavior, that was exactly what it seemed like.

Hazel eyes were staring at him now. As they grew closer as closer, Satoshi felt like his heart had stopped. It wasn't until now that he saw Shinya in a closer light now. His light brown hair that swayed in the light breeze coming from the open window, his hazel eyes that seemed to see right through you, his pale skin, the flush on his cheeks, his nose which he always found adorable, and his lips... That were now inches away. He could feel the other's hot breath on his own lips, causing them to part. His whole body was frozen in place, the only sound he was able to hear was his own heart beat. This wasn't good.

Satoshi's breathing had grown heavy as he continued to look into Shinya's brown-green eyes. He had remembered them so well... And his lips... The feeling of them pressed against his was only a memory. A memory he remembered all too well. But before he could even think of what he should do, Shinya had spoke and that snapped the teen out of his daze. Satoshi looked down at his lap, now feeling embarrassed. His heart still resounded in his ears, and it did not cease to slow down. "U-uhm... Y-yeah... Yours too..." He said, feeling like a complete idiot. Not only his cheeks red from embarrassment, but so were his ears. Usually when Satoshi got embarrassed, his whole face, ears, and the back of his neck were red. It was odd, yes, and Satoshi did not know what relative he got it from. It sure wasn't his mom who blushes just the right amount like everyone else seemed to do too.

If it was wrong back then, it’s even more now. They were becoming brothers in law. That sort of love didn't exist among brotherhood, let alone men. No soul had heard of his secret, no one other than his father. He couldn't hide it from him and expected to hear his disgracing, that he would exile him from his fatherly warmth, the only warmth he had. But he supported him and accepted who he was. The world meant nothing to him more than his father. Seeing his back covering him lit a flare of serenity within him. He didn't need anyone’s acceptance more than his.

Deceiving faces roamed the pure surfaced water, creating concentric waves of disturbance to its perpetual peace. People claim what they weren't. They would averse to discrimination when they were the one to set the flag. Their words may conceal their fiendish colours but their eyes reflected them. A mirror that narrated their vicious sentiments. Eyes that massacred whoever dared to oppose their believes. So many had he seen. Their superficial conducts only revealed their musty spirit that spoke fallacious words to improve their image in society while deserting the mute to perish; those who weren't able to express themselves. Stitching their mouths and killing their right to speak. Vulnerability fogged their life. These days…

Satoshi’s cheek painted red. His ears, the back of his neck and whole face were sprinkled with simmering blush. He had seen him like that before, but when?
In the middle of the summer where the fiery sphere shone with its seething heat. They were young, around seven of age. Shinya hadn't got over his mother and life was unstable for him. He smiled and laughed with others and cried alone. Two years, be it ten he couldn't see a future without his mother. His father had work all day and came home at night. He would stay all alone the whole day awaiting him. He had caught a cold and felt sick and tired, but loneliness hurt him more. He snuck out of the house and walked in the sunny day to the park where children his age played along having their mothers sitting on benches watching over them.

His clumsy feet approached and entered the swarming expanse. His friends had all went to summer camp and he couldn't due to his circumstances; his father wouldn't let his sole son leave his side, not with how he was acting. He worried about him, could tell his smiles were false and hid tears. He still had one friend though, but hadn't seen him recently. Being who he was it wasn't long before he found others at his age to play with.
His head felt light and dizzy. His arms ached and his nose itched. Dismissing the symptoms he kept playing. A boy sat down under a tree quietly drawing on his own. He didn't budge an inch, stayed busy drawing. Shinya was waiting his turn on the swing when this scenery lured him in. He hadn't realised it was his friend.

‘Don’t bother. He is mean,’ a boy beside him spoke.
‘Yeah, I tried to talk to him but he ignored me,’ another confirmed his unfriendliness.
He looked away and returned to wait for his turn.

After hours of playing his cold ran his health out. Tears trickled down his cheek and cries echoed. Standing in the middle of the children crying with a feverish face. A hand caught him and a motherly tone crouched down to reach him.

‘What’s wrong?’
She felt his forehead and saw that he had a fever. She took his hand and led him to a bench where they sat down together. She laid her handbag on her lap and took out a juice box to give it to him. It was Satoshi's mother
‘Where’s your mother?’
Mother. Knowing he no longer had one, his head dropped low and sniffled.
Shinya didn't want to talk and remained quiet. It was enough that he ran off on his own. He pressed the straw to his lips and drank his juice quietly, staring at the azure sky, swaying his feet and avoiding talking.
She tucked his hair backwards and checked his temperature again. Ignoring her had no effect, she still worried about him. No sign of his parents. Was he by himself? That question replayed in her head. No responsible parent would leave their child, she thought, not knowing the truth. It would be an opportunity for her son to play with his friend. He, too, had a cold. Her finger pointed at the boy he saw earlier and stood up.

‘You see that boy?’
His vision switched to the boy drawing under the tree. Having had seen him, he nodded and got down the bench.
‘It's Satoshi. Come on, he'd love to play with you.’
She ushered him to that one child and gave him a light push to encourage him. Waving goodbye she motioned to the bench to let them know of her whereabouts and strolled back there. The two exchanged glances. The boy put his pencil down and watched his friend closely. He appeared to be shy rather than unfriendly. His teal eyes and auburn hair adorned the gnarled tree rustling. His cheek and nose were reddish, like his. His soft and gentle nature emitted a welcoming gesture. Shinya couldn't understand why other kids didn't like him. Nothing abnormal about him. He sat down on the sticky grass teasing his skin and slowly moved closer to him. He craned his neck to look at his drawings and spoke for the first time since hours.
‘You drew that?’
For someone his age he drew remarkably well and it impressed Shinya. He waited for a reply but got none. Knowing him from the youngest age he was used to it.
The boy turned red, like a tomato. His ears, the back of his neck and whole face dyed red. Shinya thought it was adorable, seeing him flushing and awkward. He liked that reaction of his.

‘Can I hug you?’
He wasn't asking for permission. Giving a heads up, he pulled him into his little arms and embraced him.
‘Let’s be friends forever.’

Old memories flashed back. He remembered that day clearly until today. It didn't seem any different now;Satoshi was acting the same as that day. Awkward and shy. Reenacting, he tugged his shoulder and pulled him into his embrace. They were still friends. Until the day he had told him his feelings, they would always be friends.
‘We’re still friends forever, Satoshi, even if I acted dumb and did dumber things. I’m sorry I acted like a jerk.’

Satoshi had remembered the first time they met. They were in preschool and still in diapers. Satoshi had sat and played blocks by himself when a kid came up to him and started to play with him. It wasn't that he didn't mind, baby Satoshi was as shy as he was now. Probably a little less, but still pretty shy.

"Hi!" The boy had greeted him with a cheerful smile. Satoshi glanced up at him then looked away, nodding in response. "Don't ya talk?" The kid asked. "Are ya not able to?"
"I'm able to..." Satoshi had said in his shy, child-like voice. The other boy smiled.
"Good! I'm Shinya! What's your name?"
"Satoshi..."
"Let's play together all day!" The boy suggested and Satoshi hesitantly agreed. They had played all day. And the day after that and the day after that, etc etc. Until one day when they were five, Shinya had began acting weird. He kept his distance from him. Satoshi wondered what was wrong with him, but hadn't pressed anything. Shinya was Shinya. If something was up he would eventually tell him.

One sunny day when he was seven, his mother had taken him to the park to interact with the kids his age. Thankfully he had brought his art supplies so he placed himself under a shaded tree and began to draw. Some of the kids asked him to play, but he ignored them. If he had said no, they would continue to bug him until he did. It was best to just stay quiet. That day, Satoshi decided to practice drawing some animals. A dog, a cat, a penguin. He drew to his hearts content. He hadn't even known Shinya was there until he walked up to him and spoke. He seemed... A little different. Like he was sad. The offer of the hug and being friends forever caught him off guard, but he nodded anyways. He liked being with Shinya... Being friends with him forever didn't seem like a bad idea.

Present time, Satoshi still had his eyes in his lap. That was the past, this was the present. He couldn't cloud his mind with memories of something that happened years ago. But the feeling of Shinya's embrace was all too familiar. That time when they were kids wasn't the only time the hugged. They hugged other times too when the other was sad and feeling lonely. Shinya was now acting out the scene from when they were seven and made a pact that they would always be friends. The teen hesitantly brought his hands up and rested them on the other's back. His hug back was careful and hesitant, but he still did it. He shook his head and Shinya's words. "You aren't a jerk... I did the same..." He said before pulling back and looking at the sadness in his old friend's face. Before he could open his mouth to say something, there was a knock on the door. Satoshi had jumped in surprise, scooting away from the other to give them some distance.

"Boys? Come on downstairs, I have the pie ready," Hana's voice came from the other side of the door. "Y-yes mom," Satoshi replied to her, his voice squeaking from his nervousness. He stood up and headed towards the door quickly. Being friends forever with Shinya again... Would that really work? Could they really forget that incident that happened in middle school? He didn't know... But he had a feeling he was going to find out pretty soon.

Feeling his hands up his back, hugging him, almost brought tears to his eyes. Shinya was glad they were still able overcome predicaments and consolidate their friendship. It wasn't entirely desirable but better than nothing at all. He would have to stay as his friend until he was ready to tell him. Until the right time had come...
The familiar warmth felt from him mesmerised the heart nearly connected with his. He missed it. Missed him. He now knew a piece of his heart was missing all along without him, because he gave it to him. Being this close completed him. Praying to the gods they wouldn't part again, a grin answered his prayer. In a weird way they won't ever be separated again. Through their parent's marriage nothing would dare to break them a part, although it was weird that way.Just till I can tell you, please don't leave.
A knock on the door frightened Satoshi, and unfortunately for Shinya it frightened him, too, influenced by the other. There was nothing to set their jumps and yet they feared being seen, weren't they becoming brothers? Deep down he knew things couldn't get back to normal, but at least he could pretend it was. Listening to his desire it expressed itself transparently: I want us to be more than friends. His arms hovered in the air, pleading the other to stay. Satoshi gave him a reminder of the impossibility of complete recovery. He had to work it out someway.
Picking up the other's head phones and standing up, he ambled to the door and leisurely opened it for his mother, right before she would leave. His journey had begun.

'Did you guys have fun down there. His teasing had begun as well. Skillfully managing to change his expression sneakily, he winked and laughed. 'You should thank me. I took Satoshi here so you can have your private time.' He stepped on threshold, and noticing he standing too close to her, he slipped from her side and took the appropriate distance.'Come on or I'll eat your share.'
Pacing up, he went ahead and strode toward the stairs. Upon reaching it, he held the banister and yelled to his father who was probably sneaking a taste of the pie. He fueled his chest with air and burst a shout at him. 'Don't eat the whole thing, old man. I swear to god you'll pay badly for it.

↠ Location: In their kitchen
↠ With: His mom, Yamato, and Shinya
↠ Mood: Awkward and doesn't want to talk
↠ Wearing: Clothes

After she had told them to come down stairs to eat, Hana was about to leave when Shinya opened the door. His words made her eyes grow wide and blush spread across her face. "W-we weren't doing anything!" She insisted, but knew it was no use. The boys didn't believe her. Satoshi followed behind his mother, his mind replaying over their actions from earlier. They had hugged... And Satoshi, in a long time, felt like he was truly happy. The way he always used to feel when ever he was with Shinya. He still smelled the same too... Nothing had really changed.

Satoshi walked into the kitchen with his mother to see Shinya and Yamato fighting over the pie. "Boys boys, there is plenty of pie to go around! Sheesh! You're like a pack of wolves!" She told them before she began cutting up the pie. Hana had seemed to have relaxed, it was probably Yamato's doing. Satoshi stood by the entrance to the kitchen, leaning on the wall away from them. They looked like a family already.

Hana had looked over at her soon and softly sighed. "I'm sorry.. He's always like this. It isn't you guys personally. Satoshi has always just been shy and withdrawn from the others. I don't know where he gets it. Don't worry though, you'll get used to it and realize he is a really nice kid," she told them with a sympathetic smile. She had got plates for each of the boys and placed a slice for each of them. After handing a plate to Yamato and Shinya, she walked over and handed a plate to Satoshi, dragging him back with her over to the other two. "Come interact. That is what we are here to do," she smiled at him before getting her own plate and began eating.

Everyone could clearly see that Satoshi was not thrilled with being forced to interact with them. He stuffed a fork full of pie and stuffed it in his mouth so he wouldn't have to talk. "So Shinya, you're a junior in high school too, like Satoshi? How's that going for you?" Hana asked, trying to make a conversation so there wouldn't be any more awkward silences.

Shinya didn't want to have anything to eat. Normally he would get sick if he ate first thing he woke up, but for the joy of provoking Yamato he went as far as to insist to have some of the pie and expose his attempt to steal a taste. He stuck out his tongue to him and shouted so Hana would hear. Yamato coiled in embarrassment had his smuggling fingers frozen. Holding the pie in one hand, he wrapped his arm around a Shinya's neck and leaned to his ear, making a proposition.'Listen, I--' Before he could make his offer, his future wife busted in with her son catching him red-handed.
With a smirk on his face, Shinya intended to be the perfect undisciplined son he could be; a retaliation for what he had done earlier.
He crossed his arms and sighed.'Not a pack of wolves. A pack of hungry people, that man can't even cook eggs.'
His tongue told the truth. His father couldn't cook, thus they lived on canned food and pre-cooked meals. His touch had the tendency to burn a whole building up. Just one touch could doom them all.
They took their plates and glared at each other. Not breaking the eye contact, shinya opened the drawer behind them and took out forks for them both. Handing it he took his precautions and stepped a little farther away from him. There was the chance of his father giving him a head lock. Holding the fork, digging it into the creamy pastry and guiding it up, pressing his lips on the steel fork and tasting the sweet flavour conveyed he felt his stomach sick, but to preserve rudeness he continued anyway, taking another bite while having the urge to regurgitate.
His father could perceive his condition and stroked his back, encouraging him to go on. He had to keep it together until the day had finished.
They made space for the boy to stand between them, although there was already enough empty space for him to stand, to make him feel comfortable.
It didn't need years of friendship to notice he wasn't happy with having to socialise. Salient trails were left all over his face, stuffing himself in order to avoid conversing.
Finding a way out of eating, Shinya hurried to put down the fork, swallowed and spoke with a slight sickness laced in his tone.
'Awesome so far. I joined the photographers club.' Since he didn't have any preferences he chose the most convenient club for him. Anything that involved balls was scratched out his list along with art and theatre, One thing left for him was photographers and science. He had his mother's camera which he held tight to so it was an opportunity to seize.
Seeing his friend silent as a grave, he thought to joke around and force out a funny reaction of him. He snatched his fork, threw it behind on the counter and took a full fork aiming at his face. 'Sho sho train.' Then rammed it into his mouth.

Hana had smiled when Shinya had answered her question. "A club huh? I wish I could get Satoshi to join clubs..." Satoshi had frowned, not saying a word. "I thought he would join the art club, but he never did. Why is that?" She asked, looked over at her son who didn't want to be brought up in the conversation at all. He swallowed what was in his mouth and sighed. "Going to clubs means socializing with people and showing off your work. And... I didn't like it..." he said softly. Before Hana could say anything else, Satoshi had stuffed another fork full of food in his mouth. Hana sighed again. "Of course," she said, patting her son's head causing him to frown.

The art club at his school was small and had barely any people in it. Satoshi had considered joining. He went to the first day of it to check it out. The people didn't take it seriously and drew crappy drawings just for the heck of it. Satoshi didn't like it, so he decided never to join it. The other clubs were out of the question. Sports, journalism, photography, etc. The only thing he seemed to be good at is art. So instead, he decided not to join any clubs at all.

Satoshi had never really join any clubs in his school years. He liked doing things by himself. It was just something he did. All of his friends in high school had clubs and even invited him to go with them. But Satoshi had declined. He didn't want to socialize with people any more than he needed to.

The auburn haired teen was picking at his pie now, feeling in no mood to eat since his mother was now trying to put the conversation into him. He looked at Shinya when he spoke, only to have his eyes widened as a fork full of pie was shoved into his mouth. The teen stood there frozen in shock at what just happened. Hana was surprised to, but she went into a fit full of giggles. Satoshi's face and ears turned bright red before he swallowed the pie that was in his mouth. "W-what was that for?" he asked as he took a small step away from the other teen.

Okay, good. I think we will do the timeskip after this day has ended. We can zoom forward through the wedding, the buying the new has, and they we can stop when they all began moving in. How does that sound? And also, I was planning on having them move to an area that was closer to Shinya's school so the two boys can go to high school together and maybe be in the same class? I don't know... What do you think?

Yamoto laughed under his breath as he gobbled up his pie and refrained from showing too much reaction so it wouldn't become a big scene and probably embarrass the boy; the other was used to being the clown, so unlike him, he didn't care and actually enjoyed it. Before he knew it an imaginary bite lifted up and he chewed on the steel fork. The pie was finished and he hadn't realised it. Echoing pain resonated in his teeth and he winced. The show moved from the boy to him in a bolt.
Shinya saw him and intended to shift the feeding to the deadpanning father warning with his eyes of such acts. His hand took up another pie full fork and turned to his direction. The fork was leveled it to Yamato's mouth. 'No need to be sad, dad, say uhm~'
Seeing the pie getting nearer he didn't resist and gave in, opening his mouth and welcoming the sweet. He held Shinya's hand up next and took the plate from him, robing his share. Without a second delay he began eating and didn't bother asking for permission. The strongest wins.
Shinya jumped and tried to take it back. 'Hey! that's mine. give it back.' But Yamato's height far exceeded his. In a split of a second he abandoned his chase and grumbled. It was all an act to escape. They both had their fun playing around and always did.
Slightly grumpy Shinya finally answered his friend.'I was just messing with you--' He gasped as a rough fist smacked his head.'Don't use him for your entertainment.'
Feeling his head he pouted and dug his other hand in his pocket, staring down at his feet and mumbling.
Now that he gave it a thought, the whole meeting idea was for him and Satoshi to get to know each other and they already did. The couple most possibly wanted to have their time together and they were intruding. More than anything he wanted it to work out, his father deserved it after all these year of devoting his time to him. It was little to what he should give in return.
He lifted his glasses up and rubbed his eyes, searching for a place to go with Satoshi. His room had nothing much in it and would bore them to death. The roof.
Shinya advanced toward his friend and gripped his hand.'Alright, come on, I'll show a nice place.' It was unacceptable for the other to refuse. He hauled Satoshi and lead him out of the kitchen, waving to their parents 'We're leaving for the roof in case you need us.'

Hana watched Yamato act like an idiot and laughed. Her future husband's goofiness always got to her. It didn't help that now Shinya was taking part of it. It only made her laugh harder. Satoshi, on the other hand, felt a little uncomfortable. He took a side step away from the two, silently finishing off his pie. "Oh, sweetie, you can just put that in the sink. I will get to it later," his mother said and he nodded, walking over to the sink and putting his dirty dishes down.

Being messed with was nothing new. He was used to being messed with by a lot of people. Shinya used to always do it, so why would he stop now? Satoshi srrived back where he was standing before, only to have Shinya finally answer his question and Yamato bonk his son on the head. "Oh it's alright! It shows that the two boys are getting along, right?" She asked, looking at her son now. Satoshi felt like he shrunk down when he felt the eyes on his, and he only nodded in response.

Hana returned her attention back on the other two, making the teen breath out a sigh of relief. He hated when the spotlight was on him. The remembrance of all the embarrassing moments that happened when the spotlight was on him made Satoshi cringe. He absolutely hated it. He hated self-introductions, speeches, talking in front of people, being asked to raise his voice when people in the back couldn't hear him, every single thing that made people watch him. Like they were inspecting him. It made him feel overly self-conscious and want to crawl up and hide under the safety of his blankets. That was his realm. He never wanted to leave it in the morning.

The auburn haired boy snapped out of his thoughts at the feeling of his hand being gripped. His eyes widened, only to grow wider when he saw it was Shinya who did it. "Wha-what?" He asked, completely missing the first thing that the other said since he was distracted at the feeling of hand holding. Did he mention the fact that it was with Shinya? The feeling of his palms growing sweaty in nervousness made Satoshi have a mental freak out. Please don't notice please don't notice... The teen chanted in his head before being lead out of the room. "You two be careful now!" Hana called after them, the smile not removing from her face.

That sounds amazing! Yeah! More drama! (I am a drama fan in rps) BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR IDEAS! I like people's ideas!

And sorry about the late reply! I was at my parent's house and didn't bring my laptop. (No way of replying) Sorry!

Yamato couldn't put down his fork and continued to eat, not intending to wave them off or even smile. He carried two plate on top of each other and, without caring, held them in his hand while finishing his pie. The boys weren't going anywhere far, he didn't have to worry. What could possibly happen to them inside the house? Shrugging and locking his senses with the sweet taste in his mouth, he felt content and couldn't care less about others.

The feelings bottled up for years burst out, pouring down and resurfacing his heart. Conscious of their hands intertwined, he ignored the idea and pressed on. Unlike when they first arrived his nervousness took a quieter form enabling him to hide it. He wouldn't let it confuse their current relationship or cause an embarrassment to his friend. Promising himself to confess to Satoshi and determining to give out his passion for him, as easing as it sound and encouraging to him, in the back of his mind a peeping reminder spoke. It could be impossible to tell him after all. He thought he forgot those feelings and held another for someone else.

Shinya led his friend out into the living room. If there was one thing he hated the most it was silence and Satoshi was its confidant, taking its side and getting along well. But for him, his ears were used to rumblings and chaos. The loud sound of others conversing or even a disturbing noise of a radio soothed him and calmed his distress. Friends and acquaintances had an important role in his daily life. He used to keep up with the killing silence and still could, but it wasn't preferred nor advised. It had to cease its existence.
Untangling their hands he felt his palm sweaty. It must have been him. He wiped it on his sleeves and hid his hand in his pocket. It didn't come in mind it could have been the other. 'Sorry' For an instant forgetting his main objective, he caught Satoshi's shoulders and swing him back and forth.'Say something. Anything.'

OOC: It's alright. I hope you don't mind, but I have an important question: Did something happen to Kuroko? I saw your status and a part of me died.

Hana laughed at Yamato's reaction. "Calm down dear. The pie isn't going anywhere," she told him, handing him another piece. "But don't fill up on junk. You have to save room for lunch. I'm planning on making a chicken pot pie. How does that sound?" She asked him with that lovely smile of hers.

Satoshi let himself be lead into another room by Shinya. He had been acting a little off since they left. The voices of his mother and Yamato could be heard where they stood, but just barely. Yamoto was probably hogging all the pie and his mother was telling him to slow down. That was what he guessed though. Looking at the back of Shinya's head brought back so many memories to him when they were younger. Playing tag, hide-and-seek, video games, coloring, all of those fun activities that elementary schoolers do. The other's hair had grown longer than it was back then. Satoshi almost reach up to touch his soft locks before he had stopped himself. He had to pull himself together. His heart began to race without his knowledge before it was the only thing he could hear.

The auburn haired teen felt his hand being let go and immediately returned it to his side. "That's... Okay..." He said softly, taking a small step away from the other. However, the distance he just built was suddenly closed as the other came up to him and began to shake his shoulders. His eyes widened in surprise and he stared at his old friend, his lips parted from the shock. Of course, who would expect anyone to do that. His mouth felt desert dry, and he licked his now dry lips, swallowing. "I-I..." He began speaking after what felt like an eternity. "W-what do you want me to say?" He asked in almost a whisper. Shinya, he could tell, was desperate to have him speak. I can't... I can't.... "Making conversations isn't one of my strong points... You know that..." Satoshi looked at the ground and bit his lip. He brought a hand up and scratched the back of his head.

Yamato kept his cheeks stuffed and mouth occupied as Hana gave him another slice. An angel flew down from heaven and spoiled him with caring treats. Her word of guidance sustained a devoted compassion and selflessness. A heartwarming, motherly tone that softened his heart. Making space for the upcoming meal was an easy task. She underestimated his stomach. Like father like son, a cheerful smile crawled out to his lips between bites. He couldn't remember the last time they ate homemade food. It was surreal how long it had been. Making them pot pie or anything else would be a superb gift for them. Who would complain when someone else was making them food? ‘Terrific. Can’t wait.’
Shinya long waited patiently for the lips to part and raise its quiet voice. It was long enough for him to space off, staring at the face that captivated him in split second. Satoshi still gave him the irresistible urge to cuddle and squeeze the frail figure of his. The adorable innocence emitting from a simple gesture or muttered words; the lean body and small waist barely carrying the weight of the clothes put on it, these obvious details imprisoned him in a fantasy world.
Satoshi’s voice stirred him awake from his dream and brought him back. Catching himself fantasising about his friend, shaking these thoughts off were the first action to take then repeated to himself not to stare too long at his face again. He missed out the spoken words finally enunciated from the other’s tongue, but could guess it. I shouldn't have done that. He asked for the impossible. Sliding his hands off Satoshi’s shoulder and taking step back, he brushed other’s cheek and gave him apologetic smile. ‘Sorry. I knew and still asked.’ The one to lead their conversation had to be him. How hard could it be? He was used to it. Socialising was as simple as breathing for him. ‘You don’t have to say anything. Just listen and I’ll do the talking.’
He began walking again and expected the other to follow. ‘You’re not still afraid of heights, right?’ Something was off. He confused his childhood fears with Satoshi’s. It didn't take much time for him to realize that. ‘Oh, that was me.’Their childhood together was a treasure to protect. No one could recreate these memories with him.
Seeing the stairs and turning toward it, he climbed up while rehearsing his plan: he will take his camera and climb up the roof through his window. The view at night was glamouring and he had planned for them to stay till dark to observe the stars and take pictures. 'You should sign up for a club, it’s really fun. I know you don’t like talking to others, but have a change of pace every once in a while.’

↠ Location: Going upstairs to Shinya's room
↠ With: Shinya
↠ Mood: Remembering the past

Satoshi unconsciously took a small step back after his shoulders were released. His heart was still racing, and his breathing had grown heavy as an aftermath. "It's fine...." The teen assured the other after he apologized. He was making him apologize to him again even though he was the one at fault. Socializing was one of the things that Satoshi was horrible at. He could never seem to make a conversation with anyone. It had gotten so bad that he had given up on talking to people entirely. The only person who could seem to accept that part of him was Shinya. And it looked like that was still the case.

His head nodded in response that he only had to listen. A pang of guilt hit him, but he knew that if he tried to talk, he would only make things more awkward. The mention of heights had Satoshi remember back when they were in the third grade. He and Shinya were climbing up on the spider web jungle gym at recess. They had climbed to the very top and could see the whole playground from where they were. Satoshi began to climb down when he saw that Shinya was frozen. He hased him what was wrong and that was the first time he found out that Shinya was afraid of heights. The boy was afraid to move in fear of falling, so Satoshi decided to stay up there with them until one of the kids got a teacher and helped them down.

The auburn haired teen followed behind Shinya up the stairs, keeping a respectable distance as he had last time. He was pulled out of his thoughts at Shinya's jumbled up words. Luckily, he had caught what he was saying. "Clubs just aren't something for me... I've tried it out," he cringed at the memory of all those students just goofing off. "I didn't like it," he said. Satoshi wasn't one that liked change very often. He liked to keep things the way they were. Of course, it depended on what it was. His mother getting married was a huge change, but he wanted her to be happy, so that was a change he could deal with. Joining an after school activity and hanging out with people? Not so much. He liked quiet and being by himself in his room. It was the one place he felt the most comfortable in.

.... I love you. Haha! Are you sure you want spoilers? Also, I don't know what happened in the recent chapter since it hasn't come out on the app I am reading on my phones (*sobs*) BUT! THE OTHER CHAPTER... JUST... NO. BUT YES. BUT NO. BUT... UGGGGH. I cried for hours. (Not literally, but it felt like it.)

When do you think we should do a timeskip to the end of the day then a timeskip to the wedding a moving?

(By the way, being stuck on the spider web thingie was a personal experiance of mine... I thought it would be fun to put it in here since Shinya said he was afraid of heights... >_>)
