Lucia's eyes had wandered around the room yet again. Lucia finally noticed Souchi was sleeping just beside him on another futon. Lucia blinked as his vision adjusted from the light of the rising sun. Souchi was really cute. He looked so peaceful while he slept. He almost seemed childlike as he slept so peacefully. Lucia had a small blush on his face noticing he was staring to long.

Luckily Souchi's mother's voice echoed in Lucia's ears. Lucia tensed up a bit before looking over to see the woman. Lucia went to speak but froze a moment. Remembering Souchi was sleeping. Lucia blinked looking back to the woman. "Y-yes..a little tired...thank you..." Lucia said in a hushed tone. Trying not to wake souchi. Lucian studied his attire yet again and then to the room. "W-where..am I?" Lucia asked a bit sadly now. Memories of the night before started to flood his head. Tears gently forming in his eyes.

Souichi was stirring a bit in his sleep, moving a little because he wanted to feel comfortable. The mother giggled at her son and replied in response to Lucia's question about his whereabouts, facing the witch. "You are in his bedroom. I just provided the extra futon for you to sleep on." The woman knelt down, inspecting the treatment provided by the child. "Because of the severity of your injuries, especially with the twisted ankle, your wounds will recover will up to a week. Arduous, I know, but patience is a virtue." She then stood up. "I'll go and prepare something for breakfast. I hope Sou will wake up since Toshi and Hina will be coming to visit us later." She gave the witch one last glance before leaving the room.

Lucia wiped his eyes. "Thank you...it's very comfortable..." Lucia said shyly. Never has he ever met anyone besides fellow witches. Especially in a completely different place. He truly didn't know how to react or handle himself. Lucia slightly tensed up as Sou's mother knelt down. Quickly noticing she was inspecting his treatment. "A week? No no...I have to find me family....I..." Lucia froze then. Being told the famous teaching of patience. Something his own mother often told Lucia growing up. Lucia bit his bottom lip trying to hold back a few more tears.

Lucia watched the mother leave the room. Lucia gave a huff then. Kicking off the blanket revealing his lower half. Lucia eyeballed his wrapped ankle. Well this was great. Lucia looked around then. Where was his book? And where did Nico go? Lucia gave a small sigh. The witch looked back out the window. Looks like he had no choice. He could only pray his family was safe and sound.

The archer finally woke up after a few more minutes, grunting while rubbing his eye to get rid of the crust. He looked at the window only to see that the morning sun had peered through the window. More importantly, Lucia was awake as well, though there was a crestfallen expression on the witch's face. But at least with the bandages and the robe, he looked a bit better than last night. Gently pulling the covers away from the futon and arranging them back to their proper place afterwards, he crawled closer to Lucia, feeling totally concerned for the poor soul but also smiling because he was glad that the other male was conscious.

"Hey, good morning. Glad that you are gradually coming to." He then gently poked Lucia's cheek, wanting to have a little fun with him and to hopefully cheer him up. It hurt the archer so much to see the other upset.

Lucia heard the grunting and look over. Seeing Sou awaken and shifting around. A wave of relief washed over Lucia. Glad to see his savior from the night before finally away. Lucia held his cheek that was playfully poked from Sou. "Good morning..." Lucia responded a bit shyly. Why did he feel so shy? Sou had a nice smile, it warmed Lucia and slightly eased him. Then he remembered the small visit from Sou's mother. "Oh...you're mother check on us..well..me.." Lucia said slightly gripping the robes he was wearing. He huffed wanting to quickly change the subject. "W-who's Toshi and Hina?" Lucia said trying to remember the names correctly. "Your mother said they were visiting you today" Lucia said trying to remember correctly. His head still hurt from the night before.

The archer chuckled at the shy remark from the witch. When the witch mentioned about his mom, he sat down, crossing his legs Indian-style. "She's usually the one to check up on people early to make sure they are feeling well for the day. She's the one who was into medicine, after all, aside from our usual business expertise." He then heard Lucia bringing up about Toshi and Hina and he gave the witch a thoughtful look, leaning his upper body backwards to release the tension and to stretch out the muscles. "They are my cousins. Toshi's a warrior while Hina's a gray mage. A bunch of different persoanlities, but they are also skilled. Hina's the one who asked to fetch the herb from the forest but then I had to save you."

The ginger-haired then stood up. "And yes, they will be coming today because of the family gathering. We may have different surnames but the fraction of each bloodline is shared here and there, so we are still related." He then took a few steps towards the door. "Time for me to check what Mom's cooking for breakfast. I'm hungry."

The young witch watched Sou as he got comfortable sitting down. "Medicine? So she's an apothecary?" Lucia asked tilting his head abit. The witch blinked his blue eyes as he watched Sou give a heavy stretch. "I've never met a warrior" Lucia said aloud then. "Rumor has it that warriors are strong enough to grapple a rampaging bull, is it true?" Lucia asked his eyes lighting up. Clear he was only ever accustomed to his old life in the woods. Then the title of gray mage escaped Sou's lips. "Gray mage?" Lucia asked then. The witch started to think. He's heard the title somewhere. He just couldn't put his mind to it. Was it from word of mouth? Or maybe a book?

Lucia broke from his mind babble as he noticed Sou standing up. Lucia gave a faint pout. He so didn't want to be left here alone or sitting any longer. "C-can I go?" Lucia said all a bit to excitedly. Lucia blushed and gave a silent pause collecting himself. "I mean...I don't wanna sit here anymore...I'm getting restless.." Lucia said gripping his robes again, trying not to seem so sheepish.

Sou laughed at the description from Lucia in relation to Toshi's expertise. "Well, he's not that muscular, but he does have strength and his reflexes are quick as well. Definitely prince-like since he's the next heir." He also had to explain about gray mages to satiate Lucia's curiosity. "Also, a gray mage is like both an offensive spellcaster and a healer. He can't resurrect the dead, though. It's taboo." Seriously, Hina just couldn't imitate God.; that would be outrageous.

He suddenly felt uncomfortable at the witch's urgency to go even with the injuries. "B-but your injuries..." Indeed, the witch was getting a bit stubborn now even with the shy expression and he sighed. "Fine, you win. But don't move you dare move that injured ankle too much." And with that, he left the bedroom.

Lucia tilted his head blinking. "Heir?" Lucia questioned. "So he is to lead and counsel your people in the future?" Lucia asked shifting a bit as he was sitting. Getting more and more into their conversation. Then came the description of the gray mage. "I see...This Hina sounds like my sister Gloria..." Lucia said without really thinking. Lucia started to think of his siblings. Giving a small sigh the witch shook his head. He would get better first then look for his family.

Lucia smiled to Sou. Happy that the fallen angel agreed to him going as well. "Thank you" Lucia said beaming Sou a radiant smile before the angel left. Lucia sat and thought for a moment. How could he move around without moving his ankle to much? Lucia smiled in enlightenment then. Lucia plucked a single strand of his blond hair. Lucia simply dropped the hair to the ground. The hair shimmered and shined. Turning into what looked like a faceless naked idol. "Oh...you need clothes..." Lucia said handing the idol the blanket he used. The idol wrapped the blanket around its waist. Lucia smiled in victory then. The idol helped Lucia stand. Escorting him out of the room, following behind Sou.

The archer had answered to the question about Toshi before he left the bedroom. "Yeah, you can say that. But he is also an artist. He's into murals and traditional paintings as part of his expertise, making money and all." Even the statement about Hina was brought into full attention as well. "Ah, didn't know about you have siblings. I'm the only child, actually." Indeed, all of these have been questioned before Sou left the bedroom to check on what was cooking for breakfast. He hoped that the witch would feel better by now.

As he was on the way to the kitchen, about to take a glimpse of the meal prepared by his mother, he heard footsteps behind him. The archer glanced on his shoulder only to feel bewildered by the appearance of a faceless being escorting Lucia, a towel wrapped around its waist. "W-woah, w-what is that?" he questioned, stammering because of surprise. "I better hope I'm not hallucinating."

Lucia was practically being carried by the faceless idol. The idol was very human like. The idol had skin a bit more tan than Lucia's. It had fingers and toes. It had muscles as big as a Olympic gods would be. The idol even had a head full of hair. The idol jumped in reaction Sou's response. The idol twisted and took a defensive stance. "Hey now....you just startled him...it's okay" Lucia said as he was still being carried by the being. The idol was frozen. Lucia patted its shoulder causing the being to calmness and release its defensive stance. "Sorry you just scared him...." Lucia apologized with an adorable smile.

"Nope. You're not seeing things" Lucia informed raising a finger. "This is Bastion! He's an idol" Lucia said smiling to the tall being that was carrying him. "I'm the only one in my family in centuries who's able to animate random objects as well as summon mystical creatures to my aid. I guess classifying myself as a summoner would be better" " Lucia said remembering the title his father told him. The smell of delicious food hit lucia's nose. "It smells good, right Bastion?" Lucia said smiling up to the idol. The idol seemed to be silent and none intelligent. "Only if you ask nicely, remember your manors" Lucia said sternly to the idol. As if they had some psychic communication going on. Lucia looked back to Sou smiling as he gave him a nod.

Because of the statue's suspicious instinct, Sou was about to knock the guy senseless when Lucia was the one commanding the idol to settle down. He relaxed his posture at the same time the idol resumed its normal position. He listened intently as the witch introducing the idol as well as describing his ability to animate objects to his bidding. His eyes blinked in wonder. "I have to admit, it sounds cool. Even fallen angels have their own racial abilities aside from the weapons they carry. I am no exception." At the conversation about food, he grinned slightly. "Indeed, my mom's such a great cook."

The mother then emerged from the kitchen, wearing an apron and holding a spatula. "Well, it's good that you come in, my son. Food's almost ready. Can you set up the table for me please?" The archer simply smiled as he nodded and attended to the task at hand.

Lucia blushed a bit as Sou called his ability cool. Typically his siblings teased him for it. It was such an old skill that Lucia has no teachers but himself and an old spell book to help him master it. Bastion turned it's head to Lucia. As if it were staring at it's master. Lucia blinked and blushed brighter. "Absolutely not!" Lucia said in a flustered mess to the idol. The idol tilted it's head to Lucia. Lucia huffed and groaned. "Shut up..." Lucia said huffing as he looked away from the idol. Clear the two were having an argument.

Luckily Sou's mother emerged from the kitchen. Informing them that breakfast was almost ready. Bastion followed the two into the kitchen, still carrying Lucia. Compared to the massive idol, Lucia looked like a small child being carried by it's father. Bastion sat Lucia on the closet chair. Only to walk over to Sou's mother bowing in respect. "He wishes to help in my stead..." Lucia said a bit shyly, looking down to his ankle. "He loves helping" Lucia said smiling a bit to Sou's mother.

The woman smiled as Lucia described Sou's generosity. "Though he can be also a prankster. He was such an active kid back when he was young. Just watch out for his fun traps. It can be a mess to clean up afterwards." She then returned to the pot, checking on the soup and giving it a taste. She nodded in approval. "Mmmm... Almost there." She then stirred a little more while watching Sou finishing on the table setting. There were only a few bowls and plates, enough for only a small family, but they were sturdy and they lasted longer with enough care. Even the utensils were crafted out of the usual silver, slightly malleable but lasting a long time as well.

Sou was finally done with the task, but he was pouting because of the way the mother described his prankster attitude. Indeed, he was a naughty kid back then, but things had changed with the passage of time. He crossed his arms as he sat down next to Lucia.

Lucia listened in amusement as Sou's mother told stories of Sou when he was younger. Lucia was actually impressed with the home. The village he was accostumed to were cottages, not much electricity. Wooden utensils and what not. The witch giggled to Sou as he pouted about his mother telling the stories. "If it makes you feel any better..." Lucia started with another giggle to the red haired boy. "Bastion and I used to prank my village when I was younger" Lucia said giggling. Bastion simply walked back to Lucia's side. Standing by his side like an intimidating statue. Ready to either leap on any threat or to scoop up Lucia and run for the hills.

Lucia smiled to his idol happily. Lucia looked back to Sou. "I guess it was just our age" Lucia said smiling to Sou. Bastion simply crossed his arms, standing absolutely still.
