Elizabeth let out a cry at the sudden treatment but thought better about screaming. The wolf was probably going to eat her now! What did it matter she scream? However thinking more, Liz realized that she might live a few minutes longer if she was silent. So trembling with fear, she allotted the wolf to carry her, confused and frightened. Why, this certainly was no ordinary wolf! She was somewhat dazed, but tried to think with a level head, some logical explanation. It had to be something more realistic, such as the wolf was like a monkey, and imitated human gestures. Werewolves, like the ugly illustrated beasts from her childhood tales, were somewhat hairless, two-legged monsters with shriveled skin and long snouts covered in drool. Besides, werewolves were folklore and did not exist! She stared at the ground going by in a blur trying to come to reason with her situation. The green was a mere blur, the colors of the earth and red bark and fresh green mere slivers of color to her illuminated by the bright moon, solid color against black and darkness. Oh damn it all, she resented not running when she had the chance

Liz, trembling, almost fainted, as the wolf worked on her hand and then set her down, and spoke. What composure she'd had to start had nearly faded by now. Trembling, she ran blindly into the woods, almost running into a tree. Tree! The word, she thought but only half-ways. She grabbed it and climbed, ignoring the throbbing of her bandaged hand. Bark and moss fell into her face in the darkness but blindly and clumsily, she climbed, making it into the higher area and finally lowering herself onto a high, sturdy looking branch. Looking at her hands, she saw the large tremors running over the surfaces of her light skin. That wolf- it appeared to be a wolf- but it was not, a wolf-beast with a female's voice. At least to her it sounded female. It had a certain gutteralness to it that made it hard to distinguish. She clung to the branch, hearing fighting. Well, the wolf had told her to run. It had not eaten her. And now it seemed it was fighting. She was confused, however instead of dwelling on it, she pushed it out of her mind. Liz listened in silence, not moving except for when a muscle twitched, to the distant noises, abiding the wolf's command. The pine needles stuck into her like needles, sickening her, but they concealed her. From where she was, the needles were so thick she could not see the ground. She just hoped nothing could see her.

Elizabeth sat a moment, wondering if she should listen to the wolf. But after a moment, she turned, going back to the trunk. She inched down, careful to not get splinters. As it was, the twigs and pine needles in her hair would be a problem. In a few minutes, she'd reached the bottom, landing quietly on a little space where the ferns weren't growing and the dirt showed. She looked at the wolf more curiously now. She'd assumed it to be a female, so it probably was because it gave that impression. Eyes narrowing, she watched it, the silky white fur catching the moonlight and gleaming silver. Liz did not move towards the wolf, much less look directly at her, but instead watched the fur move in the breeze, not meeting the golden gaze. She didn't dare. The beast was poised in such away that she- it- could easily kill Liz if it chose.

Misae listened as the girl moved from the trees. She seemed to know quite a lot about climbing which made the werewolf curious as to how long this human was actually out and about the woods and how many times she came out here. Misae watched her calmly. "We must use the waters to get you back to the village. " Misae informed and nodded towards it. "Either that or my kind will track and kill you themselves."

Elizabeth's' eyes narrowed, facing up the wolf. Although it could easily kill her, she had no intent of leaving this place until the wolf answered her. It could talk- she knew that. If it didn't answer her, it was probably going to kill her. The question was, finding the right words to avoid aggravating it. 'What are you', even by her standards, was a bit harsh a question, rude and uncanny. She didn't see the wolf reacting in a positive manner to such a question. 'Who are you' was more common and less elusive, but it still had many different ways it could go. Either way, she had to be careful. "Who are you, and what are your intentions?" Liz asked a bit hesitantly. She kept eye contact, muscles tense. Of course if the she-wolf struck out in anger, she would easily die. Oh man, out of all the nights to go walking out. She resented it now. Crazy wolves and strange, unheard of things.
