Skylar blinked in surprise when Haruki held his hand but he didn't pull away and instead tightened his grip on the other's hand, intertwining thier fingers, gibing giving his love a smile as Ameila started the bonding process. Angelique looked on, trying to fight back tears as she watched her son bond with Haruki and couldn't be more happy for her baby boy. God k ow he deserves some type of happiness in his life after all he's been through and if anyone could make him happy, it would be Haruki. And she was very happy That she lived to witness this special occasion

It was finally time for him to speak the words as part of the ceremony. Haruki repeated the phrases as instructed by Amelia while staring into Skylar's eyes. He could feel the shift of magic power as the bonding process continued and hackles rose from the back of his neck, both from shock and excitement. It was all new to him, but he had to savor the feeling as much as he could for there would be proof that they were forever bonded and no force could tear them asunder.

Skylar never took his eyes off the other and repeated the words that would bind him to Haruki forever. His blue eyes turned gold as he felt the power of the ritual pass through him. It felt strange but in a good way and apparently his inner demon thought so too. Now, from what his aunt had told him, he had to deal the bond with a kiss and so with that, he pulled Haruki into a deep kiss, cementing his half of the bond. Now, he had to wait for Haruki to do the same.

Those golden orbs were visible again and Haruki felt another shiver, the power once again surging through him. He was pulled into a kiss by the demon, so naturally, he had to kiss back to complete the bond. There were no applauds yet for there were the last details of the ceremony to be pointed out so that there would be cheers and celebration afterwards. Once he pulled away from the kiss, he was smiling like a goofy boy he was.

Skylar just amuked smiled at the look on the other's face as the ritual slowly died down before stopping completely. "The binding ceremony is complete." Ameila said as cheers erupted from everyone. Skylar was so happy now, he didn't know.whay to do with himself. Everything had gone off without a hitch which was a relief to him and probably everyone else as well. "Alright, everybody. The reception will be held in the back of the temple so we should start making our way there." Ameila added, smiling at the two as everyone started heading for the back of the temple towards the garden.

Even Haruki was on cloud nine by the time the ceremony was finally over. As everyone left for the spot for the reception, the bespectacled man was beside Skylar, though he was smirking because he was implying on what would happen next after the reception. The slap on his butt was an indication that once the festivities are over, things would get heated between them both, and it was something Haruki was looking forward to.

Skylar looked at his bonded warily when he saw the smirk and the look directed at him that promised....things after the reception was over and to keep himself from shudder from anticipation. He gave a small "eep!" when the other slapped his backside, blue eyes glared at him playfully as they continues to the reception. He never thought that he would have ended up here but he was happy that he did. He was also happy to have met Haruki as well.

At the start of the reception, Haruki's parents were the ones introducing the bonded couple, with cheers ringing through the area. Flower petals were showered to the couple as they walked to the place until they sat down near the rightful place on the table. It was unfortunate for the hunters who planned to poison anything that would later be consumed by the couple for they were caught as soon as their auras were spotted by the guards. With that kind of vigilance, any chance of ruining the celebration would be close to none.

Skylar had watched as the hunters were caught before they could start trouble. Wow. Those guards were really efficient. He was radiating happiness and everyone could practically see him glowing with it. His mother sat on his left and Haruki on his right, with his parents on his own side. He let his fingers intertwine with Haruki's as he watched everyone celebrate. Today was a wonderful day and he was happy that they had done this.

The bartender spotted his lover's happy face and he couldn't help but feel enamored by that expression. Indeed, he just wanted to see more of that face, especially after the moment when they made love. There would be more moments like these and he just couldn't wait. Rika was now talking to the guests, thanking them for coming along to the celebration, but Haruki just couldn't take his eyes off his significant other, distracting the man from the mother's words.

Skylar looked over at Haruki when he felt his gaze in him. He blinked before smiling at his other as the celebration lasted well into the evening. He had a pretty good idea of what Haruki had been thinking earlier and he was inclined to agree. He couldn't wait until they were alone and then that's when the fun would start. Hmm. He sounded just like his inner demon, whether that was a good or bad thing remains to be seen.

(Question: should they wait until they get to Paris to start thier wedding night? Or right after the ceremony? )

It was then that Haruki heard his phone ringing and he had to excuse himself from Skylar to answer the call. Turned out that there will be a celebratory party at the nightclub as congratulations for him going to get married with the demon. He blushed, but chose not to mind since his co-workers had worked their butts off to make it happen. He nodded curtly, narrating to them more details on how the party should look like, before hanging up and returning back to the demon's side.

(Going to Paris would be a great idea for the real wedding night.)

Skylar looked at Haruki when he heard his cell go off, tilting his head when he saw him walk away to talk. Hmm. He wondered what that was all about. "Is everything okay, love?" he asked as the other walked back over to him and by his side once again while ignoring the giggling his mother and aunts were making over them. It was nice to know that his adoptive mother got on so well with his aunts and he didn't know if he should be happy or worried.

(Sounds like a plan)

Haruki's response to the question was a curt nod. "Celebratory party at the nightclub tomorrow for us getting married soon. That's what my co-workers are planning right now." He should prepare to get a bit wasted considering that they want him to let loose because they were going to be the celebrants. More importantly, the parents may prepare a gift so that the couple wouldn't forget the time that they would spend together. That would just be the tip of the iceberg.

Skylar blinked before nodding in understanding. He could understand that. He was about to ask something else it before he could, his aunt and mom came up to them. "In honor of this wonderful occasion, we decided to give you an all expenses paid honeymoon in Paris for a week." said Ameila with a smile at the two lovebirds. It was the least she could do for them. Skylar blinked in surprise. He had not been expecting that but he was thrilled all the same and thanked them. A honeymoon in Paris sounded awesome. "What do you think about it, Haruki?" he asked, turning to the older male to get his opinion.

(Should they stay in a hotel or should Ameila have like a summer chateaux where they can stay?)
