Kevin Dallen -Kev-

The classes went fast. Kev didn't want to go home. When the final bell rang he knew he had to go home straight away today or else his father would be mad. Kev hated his father but he couldn't do anything about it. He had to keep his mouth shut or he wont have this freedom of school for days. He needs this freedom. He doesnt like his home life and he needs sometimes a way out.

Kevin got home fast and he walked into the living room where his father usually is. He wasn't their. Kevin checked around the house and his father wasn't home. This suprised Kevin and Kevin knew that he would have to wait in the living room because if his father found him in his room relaxing right now he would be beaten even more tonight. Kevin decided just to do some homework while he was waiting.

His father came back a few minutes later. "Son take off your shirt and pants right now. Your punishment will be bad tonight because of last night" His father said. Kevin didn't say anything just obeyed his father. His father walked up to him and lifted his head with a knife to look his father in the eyes. "Such a petty I have a son like you. Your so useless." He said as he stepped back. "Did you take anything to help any of the pain you got because that is not allowed. You know it. Your nothing just some scum I ended up with. You even killed your mother." His father said. He was lying. His mother died of some natural cause. "I didn't father. You know I didn't. I said no to the teacher when he asked." Kevin said to his father. "Well son enjoy your punishment." His father said. He was then punished. With a lot of things. It was hours before it all stopped. It was one o'clock in the morning when it all stopped. Kevin fixed his wounds and put dressing on the wounds.

When school was over Alexander drove home as he thought of what he should try. He could either talk to the man calmly or he can start by threatening him. With MacBook and his ability to chance size he could easily threaten the man and force him to let Alexander take him under his wing, not only with the threat to hurt him but with the threat to expose what he had been doing to his son at the first in of refusal to comply.

As soon as they got home, Alexander changed his clothing and stepped outside, feeling extremely nervous as he followed Nanook who led him towards the boy's home.

Kevin was sitting on his bed as he was fixing his wounds. He was in so much pain. He lightly hugged his knees. He wanted this life to be gone. He wished he could just die. This life was so painful. Kevin just sat their with his shirt off and he put his pants on. Even though he has some wounds on his legs he made sure not to touch any of the dressings. He hoped that the teacher would help him. He hoped that the teacher saw his note. He wants to be saved or die either way he just wants out.

Alexander followed his large friend to the home of the boy he was doing g his best to start protecting. When they arrived, Nanook increased in size as Alexander knocked, the large beast getting in an attack stance next to Alexander with a small growl, already figuring that they were not going to get anywhere by starting out nice. People like this needed to be forced to see reason which made Alexander a little nervous.

kevin was in his room when the knocking started. He was hoping it would be someone that saves him. He was pretty much shaking. He hoped that the teacher didn't get hurt.

The boy's father opened the door with a smile. "hello how are you. Come in. Have something to drink. My son is a bit sick so he is in his room at the moment." he said as he brought them to the nice livingroom. The one that is always perfect. "what beings you here on this delightful visit" his father said.

Nanook followed Alexander in closely, his eyes glued to the man as he made sure to stay extra close to his companion. Alexander turns around and faces the man with a frown. "Please, I do not like lies nor do I appreciate your nice guy act. I have come to take your son under my wing where he is safe. I have been abused enough to know the signs. He is reclusive, wears long sleeves and pants at all times to hide the marks. I may not have been fully aware of it before but when my own wolf goes as far as to drag your son to my home in the middle of the night just to show me marks on his arm the he was sure was there, I am inclined to believe something is wrong. Now you have two options, I have evidence against your abuse, pictures and everything so I will not hesitate to let the sheriff who is a relative of mine know of your abuse where you will be imprisoned for a very long time, or you can just step aside and let me take him. Either way, you have no choice...that boy is not staying here with you anymore."

His father thought about the chooses. He glared at alex and shrugged. I can't do anything so might as well just let you take him. I will not stop you. he said as he stepped aside. He was mad at his son now. He couldn't do anything now.

Kevin looked at the bandages on his body. He stood up and put a shirt on. He didn't want anyone to see the scares. The only things that would heal without a mark would be the bruses all over his arms and the bottom half of his legs. Everywhere else there are kmife marks and scratches.

Nanook stayed in front of the man, blocking his path in case he tried to attack Alexander as he went to the boy's door and knocked before opening it slowly."Kevin? Could you please start gathering your things? We'll depart as soon as you are ready." Alexander was going to stay inside until the boy was ready where he would escort him out with Nanook's protection. "Sorry if it took me so long to arrive, I am still very tired so I can be a bit on the slow side despite my young age."

Kevin walked around the room and did as the teacher said. His golden eyes looked around the room to make sure he is grabbing all he needs. All of his things could fit into one backpack. Before he talked he walked over to his desk. He smiled and looked at the golden watch. It was the last thing his mom gave him befor she died. He wasn't going to leave it behind. Kevin picked it up and put it on. It hurt a bit because of the bruises but he really didn't care. "okay I am ready we should go now" he said as he walked over to his teacher. "so how is this going to happen" he asked wondering.

Alexander smiles as he watched the boy gather his things, turning to his father with a cold glare as Nanook continued to stay in his attack stance. With a sigh, he turns to Kevin, his expression softening. "Although it may unprofessional, I have an extra room and bathroom you can use. If it is too uncomfortable for you, we can find you new accommodation after school." Alexander motions for the boy to go ahead before following behind him, stopping in front of the father with Nanook at his side. "Oh, before I go, I want to make one thing clear to you. If you try to go near him or even contact him, I, my large friend and the sheriff will be sure to make you wish you never put your hands on your son. You should really be ashamed, I would be if I was related to you." With that, Alexander walks out Nanook following backwards to keep a close eye on the man.

Kevin walked out of the house he sighed when he got outside. Looking back he saw his father looking out the window. Kevin tuned around and started walking to the teachers house but before he could step even one step toward the teachers house he fell down on his hands and knees. The pain was getting higher every second. He knew he had a few broken bones but he thought he could last a bit longer before dropping. He panted slightly and didn't want to go to the hospital.

Alexander helps the boy up with a small sigh, not surprised that he was so badly injured. There were weeks that Alexander was so badly beaten that he couldn't even leave bed. Alexander carefully helps him onto Nanook's back before placing his hands on the wolf's collar. "I know you are in pain but please be strong and hold on until we get there."

With that, Alexander picks up the boy's things and begins to walk slowly with Nanook at his side, his pace not slowing even with the boy on his back. It was clear to Alexander that they might have to take a few weeks off so he could recover. He did have vacation days and although it was the start of a new year, he would give the principle a believable story to explain his need for a vacation.

If it kept the boy safe, he didn't care about getting fired or into troule, he just didn't want the boy to go back to that place where he was sure his father would eventually kill him. "Just hang in there, it isn't much further..."

When they finally reached the home 20 minutes later, Alexander picked up the boy, cradling him in his arms as Nanook used his tail to open the door that Alexander unlocked before picking the boy up. When Nanook went inside, Alexander followed him, the beast shutting the door behind him before Alexander used a hand to lock it.

Despite his frail body, he was rather strong and was able to keep the boy in his arms until he reached the spare room and set him on the bed carefully. "I won't be able to call him now since it is late, but tomorrow I will call my cousin that lives in ton, he is a doctor and will be able to dress your wounds properly here so you don't have to go to the hospital. Just try not to move so much until alright? Are you thirsty or hungry? I haven't eaten yet so I am going to make dinner in a little while for Nanook and I, if you are hungry, I will make you something as well okay?"

Kevin let alex put him on nanook and kev held onto his collar tightly. He held on very tight and he noticed that the beast was moving at the same speed as he would normaly go. He didn't slow down making it a bit difficult to hold on but kevin held on.

When they got to the house kevin was relieved. He felt better now that he was away from his father for good. Everything that alex did suprised kevin. He didn't think alex could lift him but he was in alex's arms. He blushed a bit as alex carried kev to the spare room.

When kev was put down on the bed he nodded at the question about staying still until morning. "I would like some food please" he said. He was starving he didn't have anything since lunch.
