Sterling shivers and presses his small body against Drake's, taking the warmth in. He decided he didn't like pools. He would stick to playing in puddles. He mews and rubs his head against the man, stealing as much warmth and comfort as he could.

Drake smiled a bit and petted the kitten. "you just need to learn how to swim then you can easily come in here without hurting yourself. Let's go and explore shall we." He asked and brought the cat to the side and put the cat on the ground. Drake got out of the pool glad he took of his cloths before his pet went in there or they'd be wet. Drake grabbed a towel from the stand and dried himself off then he walked over to the kitty with another towel and dried off the kitten as much as he could. "Let's go explore shall we." He said to the kitten.

Sterling bobs his head quickly, then looks a bit disorientated. He stands, shaking on the dry ground, dripping water. He purrs as Drake dries him off, licking one of his hands before looking up at him. His eyes communicated his thoughts perfectly. Carry me? They ask. He wanted to stay warm.

Drake lips twitched even more at the cats reactions. He looked at the cat thinking he was special to have such a cute thing. This kitten reminded him of a cub lion. With its fur golden. Drake shock his head and got dressed. When he was fully clothed he walked over to the cat and picked him up. "Okay if you insist." He said and he started walking into his forest.

Sterling purrs and leans against Drake's warm body. His eyes close for a moment as he smells the scent of green things and wildlife. He opens his eyes and looks around. He stares at the canopy for a while before looking back at Drake. Magic?

Drake shock his head. "Nope it's not magic. I could show you magic if you want." He said. Drake walked over to the canopy. HE sat down and smiled. Drake watched the cat.and set the cat down next to him.

Sterling crawls into the man's lap and nods. Magic, yes please! He says with his body, purring and rubbing against him. Then he blinks. Would he be able to turn human now? He closes his eyes and concentrates, then feels his body shift. He was a human again. He smiles at Drake. "I did it!" He exclaims proudly. "Now can I see the magic?"

Drake looked at his kitten and watched him change back. "Well what kind if magic do you want to see. You've already done your own which is transforming. But there is also mental and physical magic." He said to his Neko. He smiled and rubbed his cheek.

Sterling thinks. Why was it so hard to choose? He thinks for a moment longer, then looks at Drake. "I don't know. Just, magic? Something I can see!" He says.

Drake thought about what he could do. So far the powers he has is the elements, telekinesis, mind reading (which he rarely does. He likes people to have privacy), and some very old spells people have forgotten. He knew he had some other ones but he didn't want to find at just yet. "Okay how about this. It'll be cool." He said. He pressed his middle finger and thumb together and pushed them hard and created a sound. As he created the sound a flame appeared above the fingers. He could bring fire anywhere at anytime but he said he wanted to see magic which means he has to wonder how the flame got there.

Sterling's eyes widen in amazement. "how did you do that?!" He exclaims, staring at the flame in awe. He brings his fingers close to it, then hesitates, jusr an inch away. He could feel the heat on his skin.

Drake felt the corner of his lips twitch into a somewhat smile as he looked at the expressions his Neko was showing. "You wanted to see magic and that's magic." He let the flame turn blue and made it so it wouldn't hurt his Neko. "You can touch it now if you want. It won't hurt you when it's this dark blue." He said.

Sterling pokes the flame, then touches Drake's fingers, inspecting them, looking for some sort of device or anything that would explain the glowing thing. Finding nothing unusual, he licks the fingers. No strange powders, or at least, nothing he could taste.

Drake liked watching the Neko try to figure out what he is doing to make the flame. "You said you wanted magic so here's your magic. What do you think of it. Have you figured it out." He asked his little Neko as the Neko still looks at the flame,

Sterling shakes his head. "I only heard a noise, then Poof! Fire!" He says. He looks up at Drake with wide eyes. "How did you do it?" He asks, eyes sparkling with curiosity.
