Skylar had been lying on the bed when Haruki emerged from the bathroom. He looked up at him, blinking at the sight before shaking his head. He shifted when Haruki laid down beside him, tilting his head at the question. "Hmm. No, I don't. Why? Do you want to watch something? " he replied, sitting up and looking down at the other male with a frown on his pretty features. He never put a tv in the bedroom as he always read before he went to sleep but maybe he could put one in as the room was big enough for one.

The bartender pulled him close gently with a hand on his waist. The steamy activities would wait until the honeymoon, so he just settled for gentle touches, though he had to be careful with the intensity since both of them may easily get tickled. "I won't mind anything else to read instead. Any good novels in here?" He was not that inclined into books but he wouldn't mind having one to pass the time tonight.

Skylar blinked as he was pulled closer but didn't mind the contact. It was a shame that they had to wait until the honeymoon but he would for Haruki. "Hmm. I have a bag full of them under my bed, so you can pick." he replied with a smile before leaning over his side of the bed, reaching under it to pull out a tote bag filled with books and set it on the bed. "I have a little bit of everything so take you pick." he added with another smile at his mate as he settled himself beside him.

He whistled as Skylar pulled the tote bag up on the bed to reveal the novels and picked up one of the paperbacks, inspecting both the front and the back cover. "Hmmm... Thriller and mystery must be the genres of this one." Haruki then skimmed the pages quickly, his eyes scanning to see if it was really good before he nodded slowly. "This must be a good read. I may be borrowing this to continue the next day." The rest would have to wait till another time.

Skylar looked over to see which one he had chose before nodding. "That's a good read." he replied after a moment. He shrugged at yhe statement. "If you want too. I don't mind." He added with a smile at his love before placing the bag down back on the floor. "If you want to borrow more, just ask. I'll be more than happy to lend them to you." he said before laying back against his pillows, closing his eyes and dozed off.

Haruki was reading the first few pages while the incubus was speaking, just nodding in reply. He was just done with chapter one and he was about to say something when Skylar fell asleep, feeling completely exhausted. He just sighed, brushing a lock of hair from the beautiful man's face, before resuming on his reading. With the party coming up tomorrow, he would certainly make the most out of the special day before they would leave for France a few days after.

Skylar leaned into the touch in his sleep, sighing happily as he curled tighter into a ball. He was beyond tired but his aunt had told him that it was normal after a bonding and that he would be fine by tomorrow as long as he got plenty of rest. He knew that the party was tomorrow and he was curious to see what Haruki's co-workers had planned. After that it was off to Paris and he could not wait for that as it would be a wonderful experience for the two of them.

The next day, the party at the nightclub commenced in the morning in celebration of Haruki's union with Skylar. This time, there was no need for formal clothing, letting loose by wearing decent casual clothes. The bartender was now by the door after he prepared breakfast for the two, all dressed up for the event. He waited for Skylar to join him since the demon was still in the bedroom, ensuring that he wouldn't miss out on anything important to bring.

Skylar made sure that he had everything before making his way out of the bedroom. "Sorry it took me so long. Had to make sure that I had everything set." He said with a smile at the other male. "So, ready to go when you are." he added with another smile after thanking him for breakfast. He really had to return the favor. Maybe on thier honeymoon? Yeah. That was a good idea. He couldn't wait to see what the party was like.

Haruki chuckled, nodding while taking his hand as they both exited the apartment. Thanks to the rings, the warmth had intensified, the sensation that he needed to combat the cold air. The bartender called for a cab to take them to the nightclub, and once he got inside the vehicle with the other following him on his tail, his phone beeped, meaning his co-worker was calling him. The bespectacled man answered that they were on the way and that it wouldn't take long for them to arrive around ten to fifteen minutes from now.

Skylar tightened his grip on Haruki's hand as they left exited the apartment and the building. He had been surprise by the warmth that the ring gave off but it was a nice feeling, keeping away the cold as well as demons and other humans who saw the rings and kept on walking. The demons more so. He settled himself beside Haruki as the cab took off, watching the scene go by as his lover talked to his co-worker about how they were minutes away from arriving. He was very excited.

There was a slight traffic congestion, unfortunately, and Haruki sighed. He wrapped an arm around the other's waist as the tune of a love song on the radio accompanied them, pulling the demon close. Right now, his company was all he needed, and he smelled the scent of Skylar's perfume, light yet tantalizing. He would savor more of the scent when they would make love, but for now, he should wait. It wasn't long before the car finally moved since the congestion was finally freed.

Skylar hated traffic, preferring to walk than to drive because of it. He blinked when Haruki wrapped an arm around his waist, pulling him closer and he didn't mind it at all. He loved being close to his mate, his scent washing over him and making him feel safe and loved. Gods, it drive him crazy but he knew they had to wait until the honeymoom, and he was indeed looking forward to it as it was going to be wild. He rested his head on the other's shoulders just as the cab started moving again.

It wasn't long before they finally arrived at the nightclub. And as soon as Haruki escorted Skylar into the establishment, the lights were off, leaving him to wonder in astonishment. But when turned off the switch, he was greeted by the party poppers and the catcalls of his co-workers. Because of that, Haruki playfully nudged the chef's shoulder, but the initial annoyance was drunk as he was presented with a small buffet, just for all of them present for the party.

Skylar's blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark and he wondered why it was so dark in the first place? So, imagine his surprise when the lights turned on to show a celebration for the two of them. He was relieved that it was just that. "Oh, this is just great!" said, looking around at then place. It was really nice of Haruki's friends and co-workers to do this for them. A very pleasant surprise and he was happy that they had accepted him so easily. He had been worried about them not liking him but it was all in vain and so he just opted to enjoy the partly.
