Skylar realized that he had to go home and finish packing for the trip. He had gotten started earlier but put it aside for the party. So, now that it was over, he had to finish up. He watched as Haruki talked to his parents for a bit. He watched the other take a nap as the can hurried along its way. He would have to eake him up when he got to his apartment before mAking his way to his own to resume his packing but for now he just sat in silence and thought about how great this trip was going to be.

But still, he kept his eyes awake for a while longer and they were almost there to Skylar's apartment. He called the driver to stop so that Skylar would be dropped. But it was not without kissing the other good-bye on the lips. He allowed the other to leave before the ride to his own apartment resumed so that he could start packing up, which was the first thing he would definitely do. But still, breaks would be necessary from time to time so he would get some rest before the big day.

Skylar looked around the airport, looking for the luggage belt. They had just landed in Paris, just a few seconds ago and now they were making their way to get thier things. It jad been a nice trip, first class all the way and he had to say that it had been quite nice. "Do you see our bags, Haruki?" he asked, his blue eyes sweeping the convyer belt for the mentioned items. He hoped they weren't lost or there will be he'll to pay. He ignored the various states he was getting as he waited for Haruki.

Paris was a nice place fo them to land, with all the beautiful sights that made the place one of the go-to destinations during vacation. At Skylar's question, Haruki ensured that he would get the bags, checking the tags every so often to make sure the numbers match. He stacked all of them onto the cart so that he would push them out of the airport and into the waiting cab. "That's the last of them. Now, let's go." The wait for the cab would take a while so he needed rest from lifting the heavy luggage.

Skylar nodded before following the other outside.He looked around, admiring the scenery before lookingover at Haruki. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking at his lover as they waited for a cab. He knew that thier luggage was heavy but he had no problem with it. Then again he was a demon, so his strength was a bit different from Haruki, who was human. "Do you need some water?" he added, going for his backpack in order to get some bottles water for his husband/mate in case he needed it as he looked a bit out out.

The human nodded in response to his concerned questions; he should have known that demon strength was up a notch compared to his own, like when Skylar punched that guy in the face for having his space compromised. He held up the tumbler that has water as the content. "I have this right here." He hastily opened up a cap and took substantial sips of the drink before sighing. A few cabs had rolled by but none were vacant for the two of them, more so with the travel season being close to the peak in France.

Skylar watched him worriedly before glaring at the Cavs that were going by. That was it. They had been here for a while and he was starting to get irritated. He knew that this was tourist season but this was ridiculous.He stepped in the line of sight, raising an arm to get a cab' s attention when finally a empty cab pulled up to them, screeching to a halt. "Finally!" he said, with a shake of his head as he looked to Haruki. "Come on, Haruki." he said with a smile at his lover as he started loading the bags into the trunk of the cab.

Haruki was about to take another swig from the tumbler when Skylar took the initiative of calling out the cab because of his impatience. He had to twist the cap closed tightly before helping Skylar carry the bags into the trunk of the vehicle so that they could jump in on the cab and settle down. Once the airport was out of sight, the human took in the scenery, for even the hectic activity of the road should not stop him from enjoying the views. "How many kilometers until we can reach the chateaux?" he asked as the pigeons flew towards the sky as if they didn't want to be flattened by the tires.

Skylar sighed aa he leaned back in the seat. That has been hectic. "Hmm. According to my aunt, it should be just past the Seine." He he replied after a momemt. "She said that I would know it when I see it. " he added, glaring at the driver who was alternating at staring at him and driving. "I suggest you keep your eyes on tje road, sir." He said flatly at the driver. He hated being stared at, even though he learned to ignore it. It was annoying to be honest. "I can't wait to be alone with you." he muttered to himself as the can does along towards thier destination.

The green-haired male let the words about the distance to the chateaux sink in. "Then the view must be worth the long ride." He smirked at the incubus' glare at the driver, meaning that the guy must get the message that the demon was already taken. As the car continued to roll along, he could only nod in response to the anticipation of them finally having some time alone. The bartender leaned closer to his ear. "Then I'll make sure that you bear the marks of you being claimed by me so that no one would get their hands on you, even if they had the temptation to stare at your beauty." He would surely like to squeeze the rear end, but not when they were still in the cab.

Skylar have one more glare towards the driver before shivering in surprise when he heard Haeuki's voice in his ear, sending pleasant shots of pleasure through him. Oh, God what the bartenders voice did to him alone. He shifted slightly, a blush forming on his pretty features. It took a lot of self-control not to pounce.on the other one the can. There would be time for that when they were finally alone."I lol look forward to it." he whispered back, eyes flashing gold for a brief second before returning to thier original blue just as the can pulled up to the Chateaux, "Chateaux Noir." said the driver after pulling to a stop.

Indeed, the voice did work well on the incubus as the other shivered in delight. Haruki agreed to that, but he let go because of the need for self-control, at least until they would arrive at Chateaux Noir. he watched as the driver finally pulled them to the stop. The human's eyes were wide as saucers as he looked at the facade. "So enormous..." Truly, that would cost a fortune just to buy that enormous establishment. Heck, he even had to pay the rent back in his apartment.

Skylar just laughed at hjs expression before getting out of the can. "Yeah, it is. Ameila said that it's a family heirloom. Been in the family for generations." He mused as he asked the driver to pop open the trunk and started getting thier things. "Hey, Haruki. Think you could help me?" he asked in amusement, shaking his head as he watched his boyfriend stare at the chateaux. He knew that something like this would startle the bartender, but he knew he would get over it. And the sooner they get inside, the faster they could 'start' their honeymoon.

Haruki exited the car but he heard Skylar calling out to him, asking him to carry their things inside so that they would be transported to the chateaux. But the way the incubus voiced out as he requested was playful, meaning he was intending to tease the human as well. "Alrighty. Let's get this done and over with." With that, he went along with the task until all of their belongings were settled inside the huge bedroom, with the king-sized bed to boot. He laid down on the bed. "Whooo... Finally done."

Skylar laughed again as he watched the other flop onto the bed. "Was it really that bad?" he mused, stretching before taking a seat on the bed beside him, blue eyes looking down at him in amusement. "By the way, do you want to unpack first of what do you want to do, love?" he asked with a soft smile as he ran a hand through his lover's hair, admiring how it felt as he awaited a response.
