Nodding just a bit when told the shower would be okay, Elijah flipped the towel over his shoulder as he turned to leave the room, calling over his shoulder in the process. "Let me know if you need anything else." Heading back up the stairs, the angel dropped the gloves he had been wearing off on the table at the bottom of the stairs before he went up to find a change of clothes. It didn't take long for him to return, the towel and shirt he had been wearing already off and forgotten upstairs in the laundry room.

Coming back down the steps, the being paused just outside the bedroom door, head tipping to the side briefly as he watched Devin rest, walking into the room quietly to click the small bedside lamp off; dousing the room in darkness. The only light now was coming from the fire still burning away in the other room, but it didn't seem to bother the angel too much to be in the dark with the demon laying on the bed. "..."

Turning, he headed into the bathroom and quietly closed the door, leaving it ajar to let the steam from the hot water an escape. Soon, the silence was broken by the gentle fall of water within the large bathroom as Elijah disrobed to step under into the shower moments later.

Devin could sense the others presence moving about, but because he didn't register the other as a threat he let him be and simply buried his face unto the covers as the light clicked off, darkness to a demon was comfort and safety when others would fear or be weary of it and he relaxed and welcomed the void like an old friend.

When asleep the lesser demon looked so much younger then when he was awake; the hard lines of his face, softened out and became infinitely younger, the bags under his eyes had softened and smoothed out, becoming less prominent in the darkness; he was young by demon standard, not even reaching 200 years of age yet, the age where demons fully reached maturity, and it showed in how he slept.

Devin slept peacefully through the night for hours and hours as if he somehow knew that the angels would come for him again sometime soon, and his instinct was right as soon he was shaken by a gentle hand his name being called in hushed but frantic tones. "Eh?" He murmured as he opened his eyes, he saw Elijah hoovered over him and several figures behind him, which was enough to make him snarl reflexively in their faces as he tried to push himself backwards until he hit the far wall.

is torturers were back for round two.

Once the clothing was in a pile on the floor, the being carefully stepped into the shower, jumping and making a small sound when the bandage on his ankle soaked up the water. Leaning down ,Elijah carefully removed the bandage and hissed when water hit the burn. Even with it happening the night before it was still a burn created by a holy object and there was demonic blood running through his veins. One would think the angelic within him would help with the healing, but it was both a blessing and a curse being half demon and half angel.

Favoring his right leg a bit more than his left for the time being, Elijah slowly straightened as the minutes passed and stepped under the spray. Eyes closing as the water beat against his skin, the male pressed both palms against the tile wall and let out a heavy sigh. What was he doing? Why had he told Devin about the angels becoming human when they came into the basement?

Shaking his head, the angel pushed all thoughts aside and began to wash, hands lifting to run through his raven hair as it became plastered to his forehead and face. The water flowed down his pale body almost flawless save the scar that was painted across his right shoulder, the star shaped flesh slightly darker here along with a thinner line protruding from the top. A smaller pattern was along his back almost straight through from the front. The scar had healed so long ago in the flesh that he seemed to almost forget about it, but the reasoning behind it was readily reminded to him almost every week.

Elijah let his fingers slid along the rough skin, nail digging into the flesh but a moment before he let his hands roam to wash. The scent of shampoo and conditioner filled the bathroom within minutes, mind wandering back to the captive in the other room..

Hours later, the angel was curled up in the chair near the fireplace again, a book opened in his lap. A pair of white silk pants clung to his lower half, the upper being clothed in a dark blue of the same material; the color seeming to make his eyes even darker than they already were. He was starting to nod off when he sensed the angels approaching, not even bothering to get up to open the door. They could get in on their own.

Of course, the three that came through the doors were not the most enjoyable to be around and Elijah knew he was going to have a hard time with them almost as soon as he saw them. Closing the book, he got up from the chair he was in and nodded towards the bedroom. "He's in there, take him and leave," the angel replied, taking a step back when one of the other angels took a step towards him.

"Go get the prisoner Cain," one called out, causing the angel advancing to pause and turn. Elijah took that opportunity to go over to the table and pick up the gloves, knowing full well Cain wouldn't do as he was told. He was actually on his way over to pick up the restraints with his gloves on when his shoulder was grabbed; the large hand grabbing and pinching the nerves in his right shoulder that had never fully healed, causing his knees to buckle from the sudden pain.

Elijah bit his lower lip to muffle the small sounds he was making, trying to reach for the hand when both arms were grabbed and pinned behind his back. "You're moving too slow, half breed," Cain muttered, yanking the angel forcibly into the room to wake the prisoner as one restraint was placed on the collar around Devin's neck. Even if he woke, with that restraint alone in place, he couldn't go very far. Two more restraints were placed on the demon before Elijah was all but pushed forward and to his knees to wake the sleeping form; his right arm still being held behind his back, the angle making it almost impossible to move.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 31, 2013 4:56 pm

Devin noticed, far too late that the restrained were back on his arms and neck, he could see Eijah out of the corner of his eye and he realized that the other was trapped, an arm twisted at a painful angle behind his back, any more pressure on the arm and it would probably end up dislocated, Eijah seemed to be in a great deal of pain and the look on his face indicated that more than anything he did not want to be there in the presence of these three anymore then he did.

Snarling he wanted more then anything to escape; he would admit it but panic and fear at what was going to await him had set in and like a cornered animal he felt had no choice but to fight. When an angels arm came too close, he clamped his mouth down on the arm, fangs and his jaw making quick work of the fabric, the muscle and bone slicing into it easily, a second later Devin was satisfied to hear the angel scream as he snapped the bone in half, the strength of angel blood and the taste filled his mouth and began to sting. Spitting the arm out he spat pout the blood before bull rushing the second angel but the angel managed to dodge him and jab something into his neck.

Devin shuddered and slumped to the floor now drowsy and unable to make his legs work enough to get up; they'd given him some sort of paralysing agent so he couldn't fight back.

"That b*****d!" The angel who's arm had been broken snarled before he kicked and stomped on Devin breaking the demons nose, as he lay There on the floor in retribution for the damage the demon had caused to him "Filthy hell spawn...lets get him to the interrogation room already!" He spat.

Eyes widening when Devin struck out against the angels nearing him, the half demon tensed as if to move forward, but made another sound when he felt the pressure added to his arm, making him yelp and move almost flat against the floor. He could feel the angel at his back as his hand shook, the laughter filling the room as he took them bother back slightly when one of his comrades was attacked. "They are all the same when cornered," he mused, lifting Elijah's arm up so the angel would rise up off the ground before he threw him against the wall.

It was the last thing he heard, the sudden motion sending his head colliding with the stone wall; the world streaming with black and white before the darkness ate away at his vision. When his body hit the floor, that is where it stayed, the scent of a different kind of blood filling the air to mix with the angel's who now had a broken arm.

Cain went over and picked up the chains that were bound to the demon, leaning in to see the silken ties around his wrists, ankles and neck and yanked them all off; only being satisfied when he heard the instant hiss of flesh being burned once more. "Get the door," he growled, pulling on the restrains as he dragged the demon's body across the floor and out of the house to continue their little interrogation.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 31, 2013 5:27 pm

Devin winces as the silken ties that had been protecting his skin hissed and burned, he couldn't move his body so had no choice but let himself be dragged to the interrogation room, the angels made a show of dragging him up stairs and kicking him as he went, by the time he even got to the interrogation room he was bruised and bleeding in some places.

Devin shuddered and closed his eyes as he was chained to a wall and waited for the torture that was to come; no matter what they did to him he;d never talk the pain and the torture as nothing compared to seeing his mothers disappointed face.

Elijah woke about two hours later, shoulders shuddering as he drew in a deep breath, tensing his body one limb at a time before he dared move. Nothing was broken, which was a good thing, but his head was throbbing. Slowly pushing himself up off the floor, the angel made his way out of the bedroom and somehow managed to get up those stairs to all but collapse again just inside the kitchen on the floor. Outside the barrier he began to heal almost instantly, the bump on his head slowly dying down and the blood that had matted his hair to his head began to clot and heal over from the collision he had with the stone wall. Great, another shower.

Sitting up, Elijah put his back to the cabinets in the kitchen and hung his head, jumping when he felt something brush against his cheek, something wet. Blinking his eyes open, those pale eyes came almost level with the canine, before his cheek was licked again. It made the angel smile and reach out to touch the black fur atop his head. "I"m okay boy," he whispered, carefully getting back to his feet moments later. "Go back upstairs," he added, nudging the creature until he finally but reluctantly did as his master ordered.

A water bottle was grabbed out of the refrigerator and set on the counter, the hand towel that was hanging on the stove handle being slung over his shoulder before Elijah put his head under running water in the sink. The dried blood ran down the drain in angry red lines, harsh looking against the silver sink. If they were going to be hard on him before, now Devin was going to get twice the punishment, a little extra for revenge on top of everything else. There was just no telling what kind of condition he would come back in now.

Devin had always been told Angels were hypocrites

Angels always spoke about faith and love and forgiveness but they had no room in their hearts to give it to those who weren't other angels, they had no mercy for demons, and no pity for the humans, who wandered the earth aimlessly searching for the meaning of life, or a god that would not answer them when they called.

Demons were not all that complicated; they were warriors, born and bred to fight, because fighting was all they had ever been able to do since they were created, since the world began to turn; no one remembered why the war between angels and demons started, not even the king of hell himself who was many millennia old; or why they even had to keep fighting, why they couldn't just share the earth and live together.

...no...Devin knew why they fought; the angels wouldn't tolerate the demons on earth, a domain they claimed as their because their so called 'father' made it, and the demons grew tired of the angels insults of their species; demons were prideful of their heritage, of who they were, why should they endure insult after insult because of an angels arrogance?

And now Devin was strung up in the cell, agonizing pain in almost every cell of his body; his retaliation at one of the angels had caused them to be relentless; they had broken his arms and legs in several places, just to hear the sickening crack of bone breaking, they'd sawn off both his horns as the angels knew that horns on a demon were more then just decoration, they were a prideful sign of his heritage.

One of his wings had been literally torn off, the other was nothing more then a shredded mess; all of the hard work Elijah had done to heal him had been for naught and he hurt worse then ever. They had snapped and broken all of his fingers, whipped his back, legs and arms until they were nothing but a shredded mess, beaten him until he was black and blue all over and even now after hours they still weren't done with him.

Despite the agony, Devin barely said a word; he would rather die then reveal anything to them and he preferred passing out, as it meant a brief reprieve into the depths if his own mind...though having his head dunked into holy water always woke him up again. They slashed shallow but heavily bleeding cuts into his body making him feel weak and light headed, cut off chunks of his hair until there was little of it left apart from clumps here and there.

As a final act of making him talk they decided to degrade him in the worst possible way; tying his messed up body to a table they bent him over, and raped him, it was brutal as there was three of them and only one of him and when one was satisfied the other two were always eager for more.

All the way through their torture they asked him to tell them when he knew, tell them everything and they'd make it stop, but he knew they wouldn't; angels seldom kept to their word and he doubted they would this time around either. They abused his body, pleasuring themselves like they were sucubbus's and not angels, until they were spent and inwardly Devin burned with rage, and he vowed to kill each and every one who violated him in such a way.

In hell there was a strict rule that sexual partners MUST consent and that included prisoners; demons would never abuse the angels like this in hell, interrogate them, yes, torture them as well most likely, but rape? Hell was known for doing a lot of sinful things, an abundance of sexual pleasure, violence and deprivation, this much was true, but even hell had rules to which all demons must abide, lest they are thrown into the hellfire themselves.

Once the angels were done they dragged his body which was bleeding heavily from blood loss, so much so he left a wide wet streak of it as he was dragged and dumped him in the cellar of Eijah's house "Present for you half breed!" One of the angels called before leaving as they laughed to themselves all c**k sure and happy about violating a demon, as if it was an achievement. Devin breathed out slowly and shuddered; he must look a mess; he was pretty sure he had more blood on the outside of his body than on the inside; for the first time since he'd been captured, he was tempted to just lie there and let himself die...but he wouldn't...he'd get revenge on those bastards one day...one day...

With that final though Devin sunk into darkness and fell unconscious.

My Twisted Fables

PostPosted: Sun Sep 01, 2013 8:01 pm

As the hours passed, the angel became more and more worried, wondering if Devin had given in and told his captures' everything they wanted to know. The thought made him cold, shivering to the point where he made the fire within the hearth downstairs roar to life to try and chase out the cold as well as the darkness. He didn't mind it all that much, the darkness, but on this night he did.

Elijah found busy work to do, keeping him constantly moving least he start pacing, wondering when and if the demon would return. He had spoken so much about not breaking, of holding out and not caving in to stop the torture and pain that was surely to continue for several weeks if something did not happen sooner. The bed downstairs had been remade, the top cover not a total loss and could last one more night before it would need to be changed out.

One hour turned into two, that turned into three as the being began to give up on ever seeing the other again, when he felt it then. The portal connection the two worlds moments before the door was thrown open and what was left of Devin was cast out onto the floor once more. At first it was almost like he could not make since of who let alone what had been thrown into the room, mind not wanting to put the pieces together to make him understand what he was seeing.

Taking a slow step forward, the angel knelt near the fallen being, a hand shaking as he reached out; pale hand almost afraid to touch even Devin's shoulder. He heard the shudder of a breath escape the figure and Elijah brought his hand around to hover just above that lifeless face, eyes closing as he waited to feel the warmth of breath again to make sure the demon was still alive. Breathing in his own small sigh of relief, the angel quickly got to his feet, and scrambled over to the foot of the stairs. Only there did he bite his own palm, the pain instant, as blood welled to the surface as sharp canines broke the surface of his own skin.

Tasting the sweet metallic flavor of his own blood, Elijah swallowed the little bit still in his mouth before he lifted that same hand and ran it along the wall, feeling the barrier shatter instantly. "Tatsu!!" Turning back to the demon lifeless on the floor, the angel slid to his knees, pale eyes shifting over the other when he felt the air current change behind him. "Help me get him into the bedroom," he ordered, so glad for once that the demon did as he was told without questions.

Between the two of them, they were able to get the unconscious Devin into the spare bedroom and onto the bed; shaking hands unsure of even where to start in stopping the bleeding. Without a word, Tatsu left the room, coming back within moments with an arm full of towels and began to press them to the more serious wounds. "His body is badly broken," he whispered, causing Elijah to jump and push at the hands that were trying to push at the wound closest to the demon's heart. "I know that," the angel replied hands lifting to hover just over the still form's body. "Eli, you can't stop it all," Tatsu added quickly, a clawed hand moving to grab at the angel's as they began to glow faintly.

That one action caused Elijah to grow still, those pale eyes turning to glare at the demon until he let go. "I can stop most of it until he begins to heal on his own." After that, no words were spoken as the angel began to move his hands along Devin's body where he found the most blood to be flowing so freely from deep gashes within the flesh. Pale hands would hover only long enough for the laceration to scab over before they began moving, seeking another wound. Broken arms were pulled straight to his sides, legs being reset before the demon's body tried to heal them wrong.

Little by little, he felt his energy begin to seep away, forcing every bit to try and stop as much bleeding as he could. The demon at his side sat back on his heels, dark gaze following his master's every move; keeping a close eye on them both. Only when he felt it begin to waver did he prepare for what would happen, strong arms catching Elijah before he collapsed to the floor, carefully picking the smaller male up. "...." Silently, he padded into the living room and laid the unconscious angel on the couch, slowly shaking his head, which sent crimson strands of hair to slide along his shoulders. Making sure the fire would not go out anytime soon, the demon covered Elijah up with a throw blanket before going back into the bedroom to sit down on the floor near the door, black gaze turning to watch the sleeping form on the bed.

Elijah could not heal all of the wounds on the others body, that would be impossible, the sheer amount of damage that had been inflicted on him not just externally but internally was immense his wings were nearly irreparable and something Elijah hadn't gotten around to dealing with yet, the cuts and broken bones began to heal slowly; the angels had forgotten to bring the restraints when they dumped him on the cellar floor so that was something.

He still looked a mess even with the blood cleared off an most of the worse cuts and whip makers dealt with, his hair was sheared off, his horns, roughly chiselled away until there was nothing but stumps; he was a wreck broken in almost every aspect. Most demons would have given in by now would have begged for death after telling them everything...but the only thing helping him to hold on is his mothers sweet face and Eijah...what a little mystery he was.

Devin was unconscious for days, his body simply didn't have the strength to even try and rouse itself from sleep, his whole body had simply shut down from the immense trauma it had endured and was taking the time to slowly knit itself back together; his torturers came back after three days, wanting to have another crack at him, but Devin still looked worse for wear; his body was healing but slowly, there was simply too much damage for his body to heal it all at once, even with the angels help.

The torturers were not pleased that the other was still in a sort of self inflicted coma, but there was little point in interrogating an unconscious demon and left him be but told Eijah to inform them the MOMENT the other woke up.

When Devin did finally start to stir, almost a week and a half later, his body had finally finished healing some of the worst parts; his bones were fully knit back together, the cuts had healed over without scarring, the whip marks were doing the same though it would take much longer for those scars to heal, his hair which had been cut so short was slowly growing back but it was still a tufty mess. His horns and wings however were beyond saving, having a wing that was torn and shredded was salvageable, having it torn right out of your back from the bone joint? Not so much "...nn" Devin croaked weakly as he opened his foggy amethyst eyes slowly for a moment, he ached all over and he was groggy from all the pain and the long sleep he;d just been through.

For a moment he lay in the darkness, and he wondered if he was dead...but he focused his eyes on the familiar ceiling and knew that he had not earned death yet...he was still alive and a part of him cried at the thought of having to endure another day of torture like the last one, another part of him was already dreading it.

While Devin slept for a week and so many days, the angel slept for only three, waking on the fourth to a very worried pair of red eyes above him. Hand twitching, he tried and failed to raise his hand, smiling when he felt the soft fur beneath his fingertips where it laid on the edge of the couch. "Tatsu.." he whispered with a smile before sleep took him again.

Waking again a day later, Elijah felt almost refreshed, making a small sound before a shaking hand lifted to rub at very tired eyes, muffling a yawn minutes later. He drew in a breath and felt his stomach growl with the sudden hunger from not eating for so many days and couldn't help but feel embarrassed despite the fact that no one was there to hear it.

Other than eat and sleep, the angel stayed in the bedroom with the other, sitting in a chair he had pulled from the table into the room. He was surprised when the angels returned, tired sapphires watching them as they came and went. Tell them when he woke..as if. They could come check on him again like they do any other prisoner. He wasn't going to help with this anymore than he already was.

Throughout the days that followed, the towels were changed to thin pieces of cloth that dissolved over time, keeping the larger areas covered and medicated to keep them from reopening. Like stitches, the cloth would keep the wounds closed, and fall away as the skin knitted back together again. The stub of a wing was wrapped, not wanting to cause further pain for the time being by trying to do anything with it. Then again, what could be done?

The barrier was never put back up, wanting to help Devin heal his wounds until the severity of the damaged was taken care of. Even then, Elijah would not stray very far, tired eyes closing only when he had stayed awake as long as he could. The chair had been pulled in next to the bed by then, Tatsu coming down the stairs regularly now to check on both demons, more times than not finding his master slumped over and asleep on the bed while still managing to stay sitting in the chair.

Elijah was asleep when the other began to wake, a deep breath being drawn in when he heard new sounds. Slowly sitting up, the angel rubbed at his eyes again, pale gaze turning to fall upon twin amethysts that he thought he would never see open again. Relief washed through him then, a hand moving to touch Devin's arm lightly. "Hey there sleepy head," he whispered, reaching over to pick up the cup of water from the bedside table, holding the straw in place before he moved it closer to the other. "You've been out for over a week. Try not to do anything too fast."
PostPosted: Sun Sep 01, 2013 9:25 pm

Devin's eyes flickered over to the other, his sight was still blurry and unfocused and he dimply realized it was because of the pain he couldn't focus right "...E..."He tried to speak but his mouth was dry and hoarse, he took the water when it was offered before sinking his head back into the pillow; even the effort of lifting his head was tiring.

Shakily he forced himself to raise a hand, and he slowly moved it to his head and felt at what was left of his dark hair, and then at his horns the bone had been chiselled away roughly leaving horrid blunt stubs. "..." He knew, without even touching them what the fate of his wings were; to tear of a demons wings...only traitors were given such a punishment...it was seem as the ultimate form of shame...

Devin felt a mixture of emotions flow through him; rage, pain, hurt, anger, sorrow...they all mingled together in his chest leaving a hollow place that ached but not in a way that his body ached, this was an emotional ache, and it was almost too much for him to contain.

His tail weakly wrapped around his leg tightly as he lay there and said nothing; he didn't dare open his mouth for he feared that if a scream of rage didn't come out of his mouth, a wail of anguish would and it might actually make him cry.

He knew Eijah was trying to help him, but it made him feel all the more bitter about this about his imprisonment, because what he;d been through was unlike anything he;d ever seen or experienced...and Eijah didn't even know the full truth "...you should...have just let me die" He croaked softly before he agonizingly turned himself on his side and curled up as much as his broken body would allow.

Raising the cup, he held the straw in place while Devin sucked down the cool water, something passing through his eyes when the demon moved an arm. At least it had healed properly. A pale hand reached out to take hold of the other's before guiding it back to his side. "Try not to move so much or you'll exhaust yourself," he whispered, sitting up a bit more when the being curled onto his side.

Each movement brought a little more light into the angel's eyes, so glad that Devin was able to move so well. Sure, it had been over a week since he had last woken, but all the same. Getting back to full health would take time, no doubt about that, but the fact that he was moving and speaking....

All thoughts were cut short when Elijah heard those words spoken, gaze turning away from the form laying on the bed for several moments, fingers spreading the sheet in front of him flat while he spoke. "And here I thought you were not going to let yourself be killed by the hands of angels," the being stated, looking out towards the living room. "Besides...I couldn't let you die...They bring prisoners here to get better and live, not die on them...I've had only one die on me...never again." A shudder ran through the angel's body at the thought, eyes closing as he tried to shut all thoughts down before they rode him down with fear.

Devin was quiet for the most part as he tried to curl up an and sleep; he wanted to sleep and sleep until he no longer hurt, he wanted more then anything to go home right now. He squeezed his eyes shut as he listened to the other and he let out a snarl at that "...Like...you even understand" He hissed as he curled up tighter before he refused to talk to the other, he couldn't help but be angry and bitter at the other, to blame Eijah partially for his predicament.

Caught so off guard by the comment, Elijah pulled back from the other, getting quickly to his feet. The sudden and harsh movement caused the chair to topple over, making a very loud noise until it settled on the stone floor again. 'Master...? Is everything okay?'. The words echoed through his mind, unheard by the demon laying down on the bed before him, but the sound made him jump, drawing in a sudden breath as it caught him off guard. Elijah managed a small smile before he slowly bent over and picked up the chair from the floor. "No, you're right. Why would I," he whispered over his shoulder as he kept his back turned to the demon before he left the room.

In truth, the comment had caught him off guard, but after a moment or two, Elijah started to feel rather silly. Why ever would the demon be glad to be alive after going through something like he had almost two weeks ago? Eyes closing, the being looked down into his hands, turning the cup he had picked up around in them as he wandered up the stairs without much thought. It wasn't until he was halfway through filling it with water did he feel something brush against his leg.

The angel jumped, sloshing water so hard that he actually managed to spill a little onto the counter and the sleeve to his long-sleeve shirt. Grumbling under his breath, those dark eyes turned down to the furred creature responsible, shaking his head a bit when it tipped its head to the side. "Don't look at me like that. I was just thinking too hard," Elijah stated as a free hand reached out to pet the canine's head gently. turning to go back down the stairs, the angel managed a small smile. The others had told him to let them know when Devin woke but...He couldn't bring himself to do such things.

Glancing over his shoulder to make sure the black dog stayed at the top of the stairs, Elijah turned the corner and was back in the room and placing the filled cup on the bedside table before he knew he had even gotten that far down the stairs. Free hand lifting, he rubbed at his eyes. He was losing bits and pieces of time, which was never good. There was more than one reason to keep the barrier up. Although it would keep Devin confined downstairs, no magic could be used within it, whether it be from the captive he was currently dealing with, or anyone else for that matter.
