Teh shrugged and looked at the fire. "She was a witch. But she is also the only lead we have." He spoke staring at his sword and in fear he stepped back away from him sense he was afraid of the weapon. he sat down. He looked down trying to finish his bread slowly.

Samus took notice to the look of fear in the others eyes at the sight if his sword and he quickly put it away. "Sorry." He mumbled before sitting down and trying to get comfortable. "Do you think we should go?" He asked genuinely wanting the others opinion. Sam wasn't the trusting type so he was a little bias in decision making while Teh seemed more open minded and accepting.

Teh nodded and yawned, crawling over and layed his head on the others leg "She's also a mother..." he said as he snuggled to get more comfortable, and quickly fell asleep.

Sam shifted awkwardly as the other layed his head On his leg. "Wait what?" It was to late to question Teh seeing as he was already asleep. With a small sigh he set his bag behind his head and leaned back to fall asleep. It took him a long time to fall asleep and even when he did he was very restless

When dawn rose, Teh was already awake holding himself his knees to his chest as he embraced himself in fear of his own memories. It was a long time sense he slept on hard ground, and even then he felt like it was hopeless, how can two half breeds, almost the lowest life form on the planet, save the world? It wasn't possible, not after all that he's seen. Those black bird man things that flew out of the village right as he got there looked rather strong and creepy.
Teh looked at Samus to see if he was ready to go or if he was still asleep, Teh stood up and grabbed his bag and started walking out whether the case was or wasn't, he wanted to find the itch without putting Sam in danger, Teh would feel like it was his fault if that were the case.

Samus woke up to the sound of someone moving around but for a second just lay still as everything from yesterday began to slowly sink in. Though he realized what Teh was doing as e heard him grab a bag and begin to leave the cave. Sam groaned and rose to his feet. "Where do you think your going?" He asked as he rose to his feet

Teh turned around smiling and not really seeming to b bothered on how he was caught. "To go find the witch! We do have an adventure to go on, and... I can handle myself!" he said tilting his head and looking back out to the woods, where he was going to go. "Now that you're awake we can go together!" he swayed from side to side as if that was his original plan. "We could like go and find berries and hunt and eat and sing camp fire songs and roast things and..." he kept talking fast as he did when they met happy and carefree as if the night before didn't happen.

Samus frowned and looked at Teh suspiciously. "Mhm ok" he hoisted his bag over his shoulder and kicked some dirt over the charred wood to try to conceal it a little. With that he turned and headed out into the woods going the way that strange witch had told them to. He had a habit of keeping one hand on his sword and being very vigilant which was hard with Teh talking his ear off. Though he figured that was just how the other was coping with what was happening.

Teh suddenly stopped in front of Samus and looked up at the tree just starring blankly, his eyes wide and he started crying and began climbing the tree, hoping from branch to branch like a beginner ninja. he suddenly reached the top and fixed a next which was tilting and about to fall but all was well sense Teh put it back. Suddenly he looked down and jumped back to the ground landing on his face and then popping back up like a daisy in the snowy wiping the dirt of his face. "let's go!" he said with a big smile.
But from a far there was strange rusting that didn't match with the rest of the forest sounds making a footstep like pattern, closer to the edge of the forest but obviously following and trying to stay out of the half demons sight.

Samus blinkd in confusion as Teh suddenly stopped and began to cry before sprinting up into the tree's. It took him a second to realize he was fixing a birds nest. "Alright.." he mumbled before he continued to walk on only to stop yet again as he watched Teh fall onto his back. He opened his mouth to ask if he was ok only to shut it as he watch Teh pop up like it was nothing and keep on walking. Shaking his head he trailed after the other, keepinga watchful eye on the woods.

Teh swung his arms back and forth happy with his accomplishment and looked at Samus with a big grin. "Sammy? Why are you so grumpy all the time?" he swayed from side to side as he stopped for a second to let a beetle pass by. teh's ear twitched feeling rather uncomfortable suddenly as if there was eyes on him and he looked around but said nothing, instead just looked back at Samus and got a tiny bit closer in a paranoid fear.

Samus walked in silence, one hand never leaving the hilt of his sword. Though then he was asked why he was always grumpy his steps faltered and he gave teh a strange look. "i'm not grumpy." he said simply as he fell back into pace. "I just don't like to act like a child..." he shrugged his broad shoulders as if that explained everything.

Teh looked at him. "My master wasn't grumpy without being a child. He was a lot more free and he actually smiled. Unlike you." he chuckled a bit and pointed at his face with to fingers as if trying to create a smile on Sams face. "Lighten up! it's a bright day!" he laughed and then went forward swaying happily.
Suddenly There was a rustling in the bush beside and a quick harlequin like woman grabbed Teh and took off with him in the trees. "it's not safe here." She whispered at Teh, who was struggling and trying to bite the ladies hand which was over his mouth to keep him quiet. He kicked the air to no avail he was powerless against anything. Suddenly the woman dropped him under a log and then got in front of him and out her finger of his lips gently "shhh." she whispered as she looked up to See where Samus went.

Samus shook his head "i smile, just not as often as you do." he said, his lips twitching in a slight smirk. He watched as Teh went ahead and got a little uneasy. "hey dont go to f-" just as he said it he watched as woman burst from the bushes and grabbed Teh. "TEH!" he yelled in shock before sprinting after the woman. Then he decided to work a little more stealthy. he followed the trail of broken twigs and paused as he saw the woman through the tree's. Staying hidden he crept around untill he was behind the woman. he walked forward and unsheathed his sword holding it against her back. "Who are you." he growled as he pushed the tip of the blade against her back to give her incentive to talk.
