A NightClub Experience(Kuri and Mistress)

Skylar groaned as he sank into the sofa in his office. Three appointments back to back and if wasn't even noon yet. Not to mention single parents hitting on him every other minute while he was trying to give their children their shots. One child actually bit him when he gave him a flu shot while his father flirted with him. Do you have any idea how hard it is to give a little one a shot when you're being stared at like a piece of meat by his parents? He decided that he would take a small nap as he didn't hit any more patients until 3. Thank god his shift ended at 6 or he would hurt someone. As he closed his eyes, hemade a mental note to call Haruki after he clocked out.

Once his task was done, he wiped the sweat from his brow, and he was teased by one of his co-workers because of Skylar being attracted to him. He blushed faintly, saying that it was a bit too soon for the date, though the memory of the kiss was still imprinted in his brain. It was a good thing that the teasing duration was short, since he had to ponder on his next step once he would meet up with Skylar later in the afternoon. He sat down on one of the vacant stools, checking the time via the circular wall clock. It was already past noon by the time he settled down, meaning he still had time to get lunch. He departed to the kitchen area, only to see the chef handing out a pita pocket with chicken and vegetables as the filling. He simply said thanks before taking a bite.

Skylar was sleeping soundly that is until he heard a banging on his office door, causing him to jerk awake and fall to the floor. Painfully. He cursed under his breath before standing up and heading to the door, opening it. "Yes?" he asked the nurse at the door. She stared at him for a moment before pulling herself together. "Sorry to bother by you are needed in room 302. Seems a little boy swallowed his mother's wedding wing and now it's kinda stuck and causing him discomfort in his lower stomach." she replied. Skylar just stared at her for a second trying to process her statement before quickly heading to he mentioned room. What was it with children and swallowing things? Really. Didn't their parents watch them? He was so going to need a drink later after his shift.

The taste of the chicken and vegetables together with the bread was indeed good, and he washed it down simply with water. His current conversation with the co-workers was about what drinks to serve for tonight. Aside from the Long Island Iced Tea, it's up to Haruki's choice to decide on the next set of drinks. He winked, simply saying that they should trust him to deliver what's best for the customers. But then again, the topic about his relationship with Skylar was brought up again and he retorted saying that they were still just friends. After all, he really didn't want them to know what happened at the apartment complex yesterday.

After managing to extract Mrs.Kane's ring from her son's stomach, Skylar had decided that this was the second most crazy day ever. So, when a nurse told him that his 3pm appointment cancelled, he almost cried with relief as he didn't think he could take anymore insanity at the moment. So, with his schedule cleared up now, he decided to go get some lunch from the cafe upstairs. As he made his way up there, he decided to call Haruki to see how he was doing. It was what friends did, right? At least that was what he kept telling himself as he waited.

By the time the talk between co-workers was over, Haruki was done consuming his lunch. Which was a good thing because his phone beeped, alerting him of an incoming call. Panicking a bit, he picked up the device, having to exit to the back of the bar so that no one would disturb the upcoming conversation. It was then that he saw that the call was from Skylar, which induced a sigh because it was just at the wrong time but decided to answer anyway. He pressed the button and settled the screen close to his ear. "Hello, Skylar. Just done with lunch and I'm about to go to work after a while. How are you?"

Skylar blinked when Haruki picked up but was happy that he did. "Oh. I am sorry. I didn't mean to call you on your shift." he replied, feeling embarrassed for some reason. "I am fine. I can call back at a later time if you wish." he added, as he walked into his office with his food while ignoring the dreams looks hews getting from the staff. Really. Don't these people have anything else to do? Like their jobs? He shook his head as he closed his door before settling down at his desk to eat while waiting for a reply.

Based on the tone of Skylar, he was somehow affected by his words. He had to rectify the situation somehow. "Ah no. I have a few minutes to talk to you just now." He shoved his free hand into the pocket of his frayed jeans, looking up at the cloudy sky that obstructed the sun from totally shining through. "So, are you planning to come by the nightclub tonight? I will mix a few new drinks for the customers and there may be something else that you may like aside from the beverage on our first night we met."

"Okay." Skylar replied with a smile to himself before starting on his food. "Yeah. After the day I am having, I am going to need a drink or three. Oh? That sounds interesting. I can't wait to see what it is." he replied with a laugh, his curiosity peaked. Just what was Haruki up to? He continued to chat with the other until it was time for Haruki to get ba K to work.

Haruki was glad that Skylar became interested in what he could concoct tonight. He chuckled, winking as an added bonus. "You just have to wait and see once you enter the nightclub tonight. I promise you that it will be worth it." The bespectacled man removed his hand from the pocket, running his fingers over his messy verdant locks as he continued to gaze upwards at the sky. "Just make sure you come wearing something casual for the party."

"I look forward to it." Skylar replied with another smile to himself. Skylar blinked when Haruki mentioned a party. It sounded like it would be fun so he decided that he would go if only to see Haruki. "Okay. I will." he added as he finished off his food and tea. "I also look forward to seeing you as well." he said softly, glad that the other couldn't se him blushing as he said it.

Based on the tone, Skylar was definitely feeling a bit shy about the upcoming encounter tonight at the night bar. He let out a hearty chuckle "See you later then." He pressed the button to hang up, ending the call and gripping the device as he looked back up at the sky. Great, now he couldn't wipe off his own stupid grin from his face. He was indeed looking forward to such an encounter with the incubus. Once he recovered after a few minutes, he went back inside.

Skylar said goodbye before hanging up as well, a big smile on his face. He couldn't wait for tonight though the party made him nervous. He had a slight problem with large groups but if he got to be win Haruki, then it it would be worth it. After finishing his food, he threw it in the trash before deciding to just relax until his shift was over. He had no more things to do today so it was fine.

Later, the party had begun at night, and Haruki was now at the bar, ready to serve drinks to the customers. Fortunately, there were fewer incidents of a misdemeanor, unlike last time, though it may change with Skylar being around because of his attractive aura. He had to stay vigilant in case something like that would occur again, though his friendly facade was still visible. The booming sounds of the DJ music were the mood setter as the party went on, with him having a good time through the casual conversations with his patrons.

Skylar stood at the entrance of the club , taking a deep breath before entering. A wave of noise washed over him and he had to balance himself for a brief moment before heading deeper to find Haruki. His outfit consisted of a dark blue turtle neck, jeans, and boots with a light grey jacket finishing it off. He was quite a sight and people instantly took notice. He ignored those trying to get his attention as he headed towards the bar when he spotted the bartender. "Hello, Haruki." he said, getting his attention.
