Poof.”Raphaello! Wake up!!!" his mom screamed pounding on the door.


The boy woke up and groaned rubbing his eyes feeling the soreness in his body. He had gotten in another fight just the day before even though he wasn't supposed to get into fights his senior year, and his mom wasn't buying that it hadn't even started yet so it didn't count. He sat up in bed and looked down at himself. His body had a few scratches here and there from his newest adventure so he thought he was fine. He got out of the cozy bed and halfheartedly fixed it knowing that his mother would not be happy if it was left undone. Thoughts of how his day was going to be occupied his mind hoping that everything would go fine since he was going to a new high school to due to his being kicked out for violence in the previous one, but a piece of him knew that not fighting would ever happen seeing as how it was attracted to him like a magnet. With the bed fixed he rubbed the back of his head and walked to his closet and pulled out clothes for the day before going to the bathroom to shower and change so he could be completely ready.

He took care of his morning business and looked in the mirror sighed contently. His hair was perfect for the day and every part of him was content. He looked at what he wore one last time, content of the white pant, white button up ensemble, before leaving the bathroom and going downstairs to tell his mom that he was going to school. She wished him a good day and he left grabbing his back pack on the way.

The best part of going to a new school was that it was generally farther away giving him more independent driving time. He turned on his truck that he had gotten for his sixteenth birthday and put his music on and turned it up to a volume that wouldn't wake up the nearby neighbors. He pulled out of his driveway and went off to the school using his phone as a GPS to show him where to exactly he had to go. Finally he arrived and found a parking spot and he jumped out of his truck grabbing his backpack. He locked the door and pulled the handle to make sure before taking of to the orientation that all the students had to go through. Usually he would skip it but he figured he had to go without giving his mom a heart attack at least once before he goes off on his own. He walks around the halls following the teachers orders before getting into a large auditorium where lots of kids had already found. He sat down away from everyone since he was the new kid and fumbled with his shirt while he waited for the teachers to start which thankfully was only a five minute wait.
