____ and Mitch have been friends since kindergarten when the energetic and outgoing Mitch approached the shy and very closed off ______ and became his first friend ever! From that day on the two were inseparable, doing everything together and even trying to get teacher to put them in the same classes. When they hit high school Mitch was instantly popular while ____ was stuck being the nerdy kid that was picked on. But his best friend would not stand for that, he was very protective of ____ and if anyone messed with him they had to answer the to captain of the football team. In the ninth grade Mitch's mother passed away because of her cancer, everyone knew it was coming but Mitch's father took it hard and sort of disappeared from his life for the next year. Though he had ____ to take care of so he didn't tell him about it and kept the fact hidden from him. When his father 'came back to the living' he was a drunken b*****d and started to beat Mitch. At first it was just the occasional slap but now that the two teens are in 11th grade it is getting much worse. But he knows ____ has his own problems with his over protective parents always pushing him to do better in school so he refuses to tell him about his issues and instead hides it and tried to deal with it himself. But it is getting harder and harder to hide the bruises from the other and he keeps having to make up excuses. Will ___ be able to figure out what is happening to his best friend? Or will it be to late?

I had seen this rp a few times and anytime I tied to make a profile, I could never find an anime character that would fit the personality I was looking for until I saw Makoto from Free. Anyways, I hope this is okay and that it isn't too late.

Personality: Iza can be a bit of a ditz even though he is pretty smart and he tends to have issues making friends since he is so shy. He doesn't mind being picked on since his best friend comes to save him and he is always kind to others even if they are cruel to him.
Bio: His parents had always been strict and tough on him because he has always been seen as weak and a bit of an airhead. While some may think he is incapable of taking care of himself, Iza had always been one step ahead of others and knows what is going to happen before they even did, such was the power of his brain. Although he gives off a "I am such an idiot" vibe, others that really know him, know that he is top of the class and never fails at anything he does. One would think that he would be happy to be such power, but to him, he would prefer to be seen as an idiot if it would make people like him more. With the pressure to be better from his parents and the others at school bullying him for being so smart, he always feels like he is on the breaking edge. Luckily for him, his friend Mitch is always there to pick him back up when he falls and he had come to rely on him so much that weight from the pressure that he used to carry, didn't seem so heavy anymore. Because Mitch is such a great friend, he treasures him dearly and would drop anything for him if he had to even though some may make fun of him and call him Mitch's lapdog.

Mitch let out an incoherent groan as the he heard the loud shrieking of his alarm clock. "Nooo." he mumbled as he rolled over and slapped his hand down on the snooze button. He mumbled softly and rolled over, slipping back into a light slumber. However this was short lived as ten minutes later his alarm began to wail again. "Fine." he groaned as he sat up and turned off his alarm, wincing slightly as his stiff body ached at the sudden movement. Shaking his head, his long raven colored hair fell over his shoulders and pooled on his white sheets. Mitch hadn't cut his hair since he was 12 years old so now it fell all the way down to the top of his bottom. It was a pain during football season, and his coach always threatened to cut him from the team if he didn't trim it to at least his shoulders; but, Mitch new perfectly well that his coach would never cut him because he was the only one who could throw accurately under pressure and he was the team captain.

With a sigh he slowly rose to his feet, shivering as the hardwood floor made contact with his warm toes. Since he had so much hair he showered at night so that his hair was dry in the morning and he could simply change, brush his teeth then leave for school. He sauntered over to his drawers and pulled out a beige button up and a pair of black jeans. Despite the fact it was going to be over eighty degrees out he was not going to wear short sleeves. Glancing over at his full length mirror he winces as he saw the black and blue bruises on his body. walking over he examined the damage that his father had inflicted last night when he had returned home a bit late. Slowly his fingertips traced the deep purple bruise that was roughly the size of a grown mans fist on his side, hissing as he pressed too hard in a rather tender spot. he then turned to the one that had formed on his bicep, distinct finger shaped patters as this was here his father had gripped him as he slammed him against the wall.

Mitch could not see his back but from the stiff pain that ran down his spine everytime he stretched or turned he figured there was another bruise to match these. Shaking his head he pulled on the button up shirt and the bruises were gone, completely concealable by the thin fabric. I hate long sleeved shirts... but i'm going to have to start buying more of them if dad keeps this up... he thought to himself as he pulled on his pants then his black and white converse. Once dressed he walked back over to his nightstand and grabbed his phone, taking it off the charger and looking through the messages he had. Nothing too important, some girl asking to hang out, Chad asking about the next football game. Shrugging his shoulders he shoved his phone into one of his deep pockets and grabbed his back pack, carefully pulling it on over his shoulders as he headed out of his room and down the steps. He moved carefully down the stairs, cautious because he didn't want to wake his dad who was no doubt passed out drunk on the couch.

He managed to slip out of the house unnoticed, but didn't have a chance to grab something for breakfast. "Damn." he mumbled as he walked down the street, heading toward the little intersection where he and Iza usually met up then finished the walk to school together.
