Plot/Story:

Satoshi and (~~~~) have always been the best of friends ever since they were two-years-old. They were so close that you rarely saw one without the other. They thought their friendship would last forever. Until they were in middle school and puberty came into the picture. The two were both confused as to why they were not looking at girls the same way their other guy friends were. They found out why when they both were in the locker room changing alone and saw each other half-naked. In the beginning of puberty and raging hormones, they kissed each other, but immediately snapped back to their senses when they heard people begin to enter.

The two boys were weirded out by their new found feeling for each other, so they began to ignore the other, eventually drifting apart. They went their separate ways in order to forget their feelings. They even ended up going to different high schools.

One of the reasons why the kids were so close was because both of their parents divorced. (~~~~) lived with his father and Satoshi lived with his mother. Now in their Junior year of high school, the boys found of that their parent was getting married. They were all going to get together to officially meet, and the two boys instantly recognized each other.

Now they are going to live under the same roof with room right next to each other. Memories of the locker room incident have the boys feeling awkward with each other. They though they had gotten rid of their feelings for the other, but in truth, the moment they saw each other their feelings came flooding back.

↠ Mood: Calm. Ish.

"Mom, calm down," said a boy around 16-years-old to his mother who was pacing around their living room. "I can't calm down Satoshi! What if his son doesn't like me? What if you don't like him?" His mother rambled, his paces growing faster. She was always like this when she was nervous. "Mom, it will be fine. Everything will go well," The teen insisted. "You don't know that Satoshi. What if his son doesn't like me though? What if he hates me? What if you two don't get along. Oh god my hair looks awful!" The women screeched once she passed by a mirror and saw her reflection. The auburn haired teen chuckled before he got out of the chair he was sitting on and walked over to his mother. "Listen to me mom. Everything will be fine. His son is going to love you. He just needs to get to know you better. We can all go out every week and eat dinner. We can all bond together. How's that?" He asked her. His mother looked ver at him and nodded, finally calming down. "Good. Now come on, we are going to be late," once those words left his mouth, he regretted it. His mother began to freak out again, scrambling to put on her shoes and into her car.

When they were finally on their way, the boy named Satoshi put on his headphones and listened to his music, looking out the window. It was peaceful outside. It was a bright, sunny day with only a few clouds in the sky. There was a light breeze, but other than that, the weather was calm. The teen glanced over at his mother to see she was calm again. Driving on nice weathered days usually did this to her.

Satoshi was glad his mother was getting married. He didn't care if he hated them or not. All he wished for was his mother's happiness. But, to be honest, he was scared too. What if the two ended up divorcing like her and his dad did? Since he was so young, Satoshi didn't remember a thing about his father. It was like he disappeared off the face of the earth. The only thing he had was a picture of him which his mother doesn't know about. He hides it in one of his photo albums in his room on his bookshelf in hopes his mother wont go looking at it and discovering it.

The two finally arrived at his mother's fiance's house. It wasn't that long of a drive, only about a half an hour. They climbed out of the car and walked up to the door. His mother hesitated before she turned to look at her son. "How do I look?" She asked, obviously still nervous. Satoshi smiled at her before he opened his mouth to speak. "Beautiful mom. Like always," he told her. She seemed to have tears in her eyes before she gave him a big hug. "Mom, mom, mom. You have to ring the door bell or they will never know we are here," he reminded her. "Right," she said before letting go of him and straightening herself up. "Now I want you to behave. Be on your best behavior-" "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know mom. Now hurry up," he told her before she rang the door bell. The two waiting of the front steps for someone to answer the door.

Today they were hosting valuable guests, turning their day upside down, at least for his father. Two guys living together meant having the messiest house there could be. And both having the same idle trait, they woke up too late to clean up. They had similarities more than differences: An hideous creatures that awake from their slumber with dishevelled mane and grumpy faces. Their clothes would disorganised and rumpled like their beds. Their steps would be slouching and staggering from tiredness, each had their own methods to exhaust themselves.
Shinya had his glasses stuck up in his hair, yawning as he lifted his face from the pillow and exposing his haggard face. Grunts slipping from his mouth in opposition to his attempts to get up, echoed around the dimly lit room which hid its dreadful mess in the shadows. His hands supported him while sitting up, eyes partially closed and semi-conscious. He stared into the darkness for a few moments before hearing rapping on his door, disturbing his peaceful time getting up.
An excited voice emerged from outside his door, speaking in high speed, confusing the boy.
'We're in trouble, get up now! The house is a mess and they are coming soon!'He couldn't understand.
Squinting his eye at the door, he tried to recall his father's words. Time. Coming... The words repeated in his head several times before having being able to interpret these hurried words.
Shinya jumped off of bed and stormed to the door, forcing it open, shouting in worry.

'What time is it?!'
No Time to waste, they stole their foot and set to begin their cleaning season. Well, not cleaning since it would take time, let's say concealing the mess. Foot stomps occupied the house as they ran like madmen all over the place, doing what they could to help and improve the enviroment.
Having done that, they still had more to do, for Shinya especially. If they hadn't to clean the house thoroughly, they sure as hell needed to swap clean their rooms. There was the probability of their visitors entering them, and it would be awful to show them the piles of uncleaned clothes and crumpled paper on the floor. Fist impressions lasts after all.
So without a minute delayed, they flew to their rooms and turned the place upside down, putting real effort into this.
Panting parched their throats, blocking their hearing and constricting it only on its sound. Life running out of their bodies, they managed to open their doors and crawl out.
Shinya saw his older version dying on the floor, gasping for air. He stretched his hand to reach him and fell into his own demise.

Old man, are you alright?'
No response.
Not yet done, they had to rise up and continue their war. Clambering to their feet and returning back inside to dress up properly for the guests.
Shinya donned a causal wear, no need to be formal, he thought. Not following the habit of brushing one's hair, he only ran his finger through his hair and fixed it.
This time they got out with a victory written over their heads, proud of their achievements.
His father getting married was a tremendous news to him, happy to see his father this excited since years. He didn't mind having a step-brother, not at all; in fact, he had always wished for one. He couldn't be any more happy today. And having a step-mother meant something for him, maybe he would spend time with her more and better than his own, real mother. No one could be crueler than her, leaving her son at such young age.
The door bell rang.
It seemed they had gotten things fixed up right in time, not everything though. They forgot to bathe, brush their teeth and eat. But hopefully nothing would go wrong.

'can you open the door while I fix my tie?'
Willingly he smiled at his father and climbed downstairs to welcome their new family. He passed the living room, noticing there was a can of tuna on the floor. Whistling he shoved it with his feet under the couch and pretended to haven't had seen anything.
His hand caught the handle and pulled it down, revealing the identity of their guests. He smiled at the woman who would be his mother soon, and eyed the boy beside her, feeling he had seen him before.

'Hello~'His voice spoke with a cheerful tone, waving.

Satoshi's mother, who names was Hana, was swaying back in forth in nervousness. Satoshi wondered if having a new family would change that part of her that freaks out when she was nervous. Probably not. It was most unlikely, and she would probably be like that forever. The door finally swung open to reveal a young man around his own age who looked like he had just crawled out of bed. The moment he saw him, Satoshi felt like his heart had stopped. He knew him. He had known him back when they were only in diapers. It was Shinya. His best friend. Or, ex best friend now. The guy he tried to avoid after the incident in the locker room. Who he tried to forget his feelings for. Someone who he now could say was his first love. And now he was going to be his step-brother?!

"Oh! You must be Shinya! Hello! I'm Hana and this is my son Satoshi," his mother introduced them. Satoshi, who was now looking at the ground, nodded when he was introduced. Out of all the people to be his new step-brother, it just had to be Shinya. Now that he his seeing him again in person after so many years, he noticed that he has changed. Of course he has changed. He wasn't the only one. They were in high school now, juniors in fact. It has been three years since he last laid eyes on him at their middle school graduation. This was a nightmare.

The auburn haired teen remember the locker room incident now like it was yesterday. He a Shinya were in middle school, 12-years-old, and had gym next period. They went into the locker room and began changing into their gym uniforms. Satoshi had turned to tell Shinya something and Shinya had done the same, but instead of talking, they just stared at each other. They both were shirtless, and Satoshi felt, for the first time, that he was actually looking at Shinya ever since their bodies started changing. The sound of his heart beat filled his ears, and he could of sworn he heard Shinya's too. They looked up at each other at the same time, and just stared, both of their hearts beating widely. Before they new it, Shinya was leaning forward and Satoshi had closed his eyes. Once their lips met, Satoshi felt a heat rise him him that he had never felt before. It felt so good.. It felt so right. Their kiss only lasted a few seconds before they heard a sound of the locker room door opening. The two teens broke apart immediately and refused to look at each other for the rest of the day. The didn't speak, nor did they look at each other. Things had just got so awkward and Satoshi became confused about his feelings. He knew he felt something for Shinya that was more than a friend, but he refused to believe it. Two guys liking each other was wrong, and Satoshi knew that. But there was no possible way that he could have stopped his feelings. He hadn't even realized that this feeling that he had for Shinya was called love.

Satoshi had learned later on that his friend was going to a different high school than him. He felt relieved, but also sad. They had avoided each other for two years, and now they were probably never going to see each other again. That night, Satoshi had cried himself to sleep. As he did the night that he realized that he loved Shinya. Being in middle school sucked.

Now it was present day and Shinya was right in front of him. All the memories from when they were the best of friends, to the locker room incident, to the avoidance can rushing back and hit him like a freight train. His mother had no idea. No idea at all.

A descending steps made its entrance to the stage, and light cast on the owner of this glorious day, walking in to shine along with his son. He, with the name Yamato, came in time when they were done introducing themselves to his boy. Excessive confidence adorning their personality, they stood normally with no hints of worry or stress, like their little clean up hadn't happened, and they knew no such word. A handsome smile was now given by the father himself, holding Shinya's shoulders. It was appropriate to introduce his son in return to hers. He coughed to clear his tone and spoke.
'This is Shinya.' He gestured at his son and moved his stare to the shy looking boy standing quietly beside his mother.'You must be Satoshi.'
His own son standing along side him, took another glimpse at the boy. I know him. The name rang a bell, but he couldn't quite catch the acquaintance. Meanwhile his father introduced him, those mere seconds, he skimmed his memories and finally found it. At last he recognised him. Oh, boy. An awkward laugh crawled out right when they were done with the introductions. Millions of women could have fallen in love with his father, anyone could have been better than her. Now he had to deal with a problem he ran away from years back. Heavy clouds enshrouded his train of thought. Having his past best friend as a step brother was like throwing him into the pit of hell. Shinya made sure to eradicate his feelings for the other to ensure he wouldn't get hurt. He wondered if still felt the same toward him. Taking one more look, he felt unsure of his feelings now. Regardless, he brushed the thought off and gave a nudge to his father, pulling him close to whisper.
'What are you doing standing here? Shouldn't we invite them in?'

His words making sense to Yamato, he swung his arm open and made space for them to enter.'Come in.'

Shinya could remember that day clearly: They were young in age and naive with their feelings. They were different than others, had a different preference. Unlike their mates, they weren't attracted to the opposite gender, but to the same. They were attracted to each other. That day in the locker room, albeit it was a short moment, it lingered for years, left a mark onto his heart. Those seconds their lips were connected in sent him sky high, a mixture between wrong and right. The smell of their torso bare and close pumped blood into his face. The heated air engulfing them, him, dried his throat and excited his hormones. He inched closer to the boy, closed the distance between them, and let their hyped panting speak for their bodies. Time passed slowly, patiently recording that moment where they embraced each other and kissed. Had it not felt pleasant, he would have never let it occur, certainty never remembered. Hearing the other's loud heart beat gave him an approval to approach, and he regretted it. It was a taboo. He understood his feelings and feared rejection, from his friend and others. The wisest choice he had was to ignore him so long as they stayed in the same spot, and eventually never spoke to each other again.

Reminiscing these memories did no good. He covered his mouth while deep in thought. Clouds dispersed and his heart pounded again, informing that his feelings would forever belong to this boy. Snapping out to reality once more, he stepped away, making a sufficient distance between them and took his precautions, not desiring to develop any passion for him, holding tight to the believe he had forgotten his love for him.
Inhaling air into his lungs and calming himself down, he brought back his normal smile and invited them in.

'Please come in.' Should I pretend not to know him? He had two options: pretend being stupid or face him. Neither of them seemed convenient. Pressuring himself for an quick answer, he had to choose being dumb and act he didn't know him, for now at least.

Hana had a huge smile on her face as her fiance entered the room. She wanted to greet him with a quick on the cheek, but she refrained since the two boys were there. At the knowledge of his name, Satoshi only nodded, not taking his eyes off the ground. His mother noticed this and nudged him in the shoulder, but he still did not budge. Hana, followed by her son, entered the house. "Wow. It's so clean! I thought with two young men living together it would be a pig sty!" She exclaimed, smiling at the two. Satoshi took off his shoes, not wanting to look up from the ground. Hana looked over at him and sighed. She was used to him being this way, but she had hoped that he wouldn't have done it here.

At Shinya's words, Satoshi figured he hadn't recognized him. He didn't know whether to be relieved, or hurt that his best friend since childhood didn't remember him. Maybe it was the changes to his body. Maybe he just refused to remember. Either way, Satoshi felt a small pang of hurt, but he refused to acknowledge it. "I wish Satoshi kept his room as clean as this. He usually has books and paper lying all around. He even got oil pastels all over his carpet once because he forgot to put it away," Hana explained, giving his son a small smile. Satoshi sighed and scratched the back of his head. "That was only once. You don't have to keep reminding me of it," he said in his soft-spoken voice. Hana rolled her eyes. "You learned a valuable lesson then. But you still have your art supplies laying all over you room," she reminded him. Satoshi bit his bottom lip and said nothing. Hana felt herself sigh a little before she look back up and smiled at Yamato.

Satoshi wished he could crawl into a hole and hide there. He wasn't very good in these situations. The way he acted made his mother sad, and he knew that, but he couldn't just wake up one day and be bubbly and cheerful. That just wasn't like him. If he did, he was sure that he would freak out his classmates. "Mom, did you remember the gift?" The teen asked, suddenly remembering that his mother had baked a pie for them. Hana eyes grew wide. "Oh! The pie! It's in the car! I will be right back!" She said before hurrying out the door to retrieve the pie. Satoshi wished she had asked him to go get it so he didn't have to stand here awkwardly with the two guys.

Shinya and Yamato both exchanged glances on hearing her comment, air narrowing down their idle necks. They prayed one day she should wouldn't find out the truth. Her words stabbed them in the heart, for they had their house unclean for the longest time. But she couldn't have described it better. Pig sty
Yamato realised every parent had troubles with their family, seeing how they argued with each other, complaining, and all that. He and Shinya, far from the normal, they got on well with each other, seldom do they have an argument or a squabble. Chuckling at her mother-like constant complains, he rubbed the back of his neck. It wasn't a sign of nervousness, no, it was fatigue from the exercise he had few minutes ago crumpling his muscles. His son was no different than the other, probably worse.

'Shinya is the same. He is messy as ever.' Intending to prove all boys their age were disorganised, maybe to boost up her tolerance, he sold out his son and exposed his ugly truth.

Shinya had his face snatched away, ashen, holding in cusses and hatred toward that man. He was planning on being the perfect son, and he had to ruined it for him. Well, have it your way then, old man. It was decided then he wouldn't have to be so out of character, no more was he going to be respectful. The problem was they hadn't interacted that much to notice he was behaving. He gazed at his friend who took off his shoes silently while staring at the floor. Satoshi hadn't changed much when it came to socialising, always looking for his way of out these situations. He hoped he didn't remember him, which would make life a lot more easier. Lightly he brushed his fingers through his hair and messed it up a bit, lifting his face up and doing his best to avoid eye contact with him.

Yamato noticed his weird body language and a frown creased his forehead, now was not the time to be acting strange. Telepathy was their specialty, having the father shoot a threatening glare at his son and receiving a challenging stare back. Try me, old man. Shinya steered his mind clear and focused on provoking the man sending him threats. Perhaps it was a lie that they get on well with each other, didn't seem like that. You little brat. Sparks lit up between them, and a gentle voice rose, interrupting.
Seizing his chance to be alone with his fiancee, he broke their match and followed Hana.
'I'll help.'

Now Shinya facing the boy he thought he had forgotten, he clasped his arm and remained still. Silence traveled in the air. His gaze shifted to the side and his neck broke a sweat. He could take the silence for much longer, speaking up and opening a friendly discussion. 'So...' His first attempt failed, losing his words instantly. He tried again and packed his courage. 'Do you have friends?' Releasing his arm, his fingers twiddled. He couldn't think of a better thing to say and hoped it was alright. Small laughs burst for no reason, a habit that surged whenever he was nervous or lying. In embarrassment, muted himself by covering his mouth and turned around, giving his back, and gathered his pieces. Get a hold of yourself.

What made matters worse was that now Yamato had left and he was all alone. With Shinya. The tension in the air grew worse and worse by the silence. If silence could kill, Satoshi would be dead right now. But sadly, he wasn't. He was still alive and here, having to face reality. His right hand traveled up and grabbed his elbow, still standing awkwardly as far away from the other as possible. How were they even going to make this work? Satoshi felt like he could never go back to acting the way he did with Shinya when they were younger and still best friends. Were they going to be awkward around each other as long as they lived together? It sure felt like it.

The moment Shinya began to speak, Satoshi felt his body tense up. His voice got lower, deeper than he remember. It was smooth and velvety in contrast to his own. His voice still squeaked from time to time when he got extremely nervous or embarrassed. It gets a few laughs from his fellow classmates when he tries to make speeches. He always hated his voice, and he found himself being jealous of Shinya's.

The question that was asked was a strange one indeed. "Do you have friends?" Satoshi could tell that Shinya was feeling as awkward as he was judging from the small laughter. The teen chewed on his bottom lip, wishing his mom and Yamato would get back quickly to end this torture. "Uh... Yeah I guess... But I'm not very close to anyone. We just talk some and eat lunch together..." He said softly. He wasn't lying of course. The people that he hung out with chatted with him and ate lunch together with him. But when they invite him over or hang out, he would always decline. The teen didn't like getting close to people and have them seeing him all vulnerable. It could just be a guy thing or it was just his personality. Probably both. "Um... What about you?" The question came out before he had a chance to stop it. He guessed it was common courtesy to ask the same question back in order not to make things too awkward. But Satoshi believed it could not get more awkward then it already was.

❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇❇

The air became suffocating to breath. Having to live with him from now on, staying together under one roof hurt his stomach. He felt like falling down and dying, or getting kidnapped by an intruder and killed. Anything as long as he wouldn't have to stay with the other. Calm down. One way or another he had to. His strong image slowly washed away before his eyes. His friendly nature morphed into a guilty one. Yes, guilt picked on him from time to time, deserting his friend because of his selfish fears. His reputation and reflection meant more than their friendship, he thought that was the reason, knowing there were only two possible explanation to his behaviour back then, and that one sounded pleasant to his ears. Couldn't accept the other one despite knowing it had a part in it. He didn't want Satoshi to look differently to him, wanted to maintain their friendship and blew it off in the end.

He peeked at the door, still giving his back to the other, feeling himself melt by each second passed, wanting them to come back. What's taking them so long? Surely bringing a pie wasn't that hard. They were taking their sweet time while he withered away in this heavy air. He rose his thumb to his lips and blew on it. Always been told to do so when anxious. And it worked. The rapid beating of his heart slowed down. Guess they were right. Nodding to fake his attention, he turned back to the boy and smiled, having had himself gathered up temporarily. Hearing his voice wafted nostalgia in the atmosphere. He still sounded a bit squeaky and his physique was frail like in middle school. His quiet voice reminded him of the days he had stuck for him and tell other student off for picking on him for being shy and enclosed. Looking at himself now, he grew taller and more sturdy than him. His posture told a different story. He changed remarkable compared to Satoshi.

Spaced out he couldn't hear the first time fully aware.'Huh?' Repeating the queation to himself, he shook his head and returned to earth. He began this awkward conversation and had to go along with it. He chose the wrong question to ask. Who didn't have friends? 'Hmm..' He had a whole bunch and it was difficult to recall all their names. Taking out his cell phone, he opened his contacts and scrolled down the names saved. It was endless. He couldn't reach the end of the list. Adding new people everyday, he lost count of their numbers. Lifting his gaze from the phone to speak to him, sweat poured down his face. His confidence evaporated and left him to drown on his own. 'A lot.' He managed to respond, but it took up all his might to do it. trying to ameliorate the mutual discomfort between them, he motioned to upstairs and grabbed the other's shoulder. 'We can go up to my room. Better standing here.' Jerking his hands back, he went ahead and walked toward the stairs, not looking back. If he wanted to come along, he would have to pace up and catch up to him. If not, it would relief him that he didn't.

↠ Location: The house of his mother's fiance and his son
↠ With: Shinya
↠ Mood: Awkward/sad
↠ Wearing: Clothes

Satoshi had noticed by the way Shinya was acting was a bit weird. Almost like he remembered him and was nervous about it. But Satoshi shurgged that thought out. If he remembered him, he would say something, right? Or maybe he was just pretending not to know. Maybe he hated Satoshi now and that was why he was pretending to not recognize him. The thought made him feel strange in the pit of his stomach. Did he really hate him? Was his actions back in middle school the cause of this? The thing about Satoshi, is that he over reacts. Quite like what you are seeing her. He thinks too much about random things and it just eats away inside of him until he feels like he is going to explode.

As they stood there in silence, the auburn haired teen wondered where his mother and Yamato were. Surely it didn't take this long to get a pie from their car. Maybe they were kissing or something. The thought made him shiver. Gross...

Shinya seemed to have snapped out of it, and he watched as he scrolled through his phone. What was he doing? Once the other began to speak, Satoshi knew now that he was looking through his contacts. 'A lot' huh... Of course... He always attracted people when we were younger.... Of course that wouldn't change... It's probably worse now that he is older.... The teen thought to himself before the other announced he was going to his room. Shinya's room. Satoshi had to admit, he was a little curious as to what it looked liked... But he didn't know whether to go or not.

The boy chewed on his lips as he thought. If he went, he would just be suffocated by the awkwardness. But if he didn't he was have to stay with the two lovebirds with their mushy gushy talk. What seemed like the better option here? Obviously going to Shinya's room. He was just going to have to bear with it. It was better then seeing his mom make out with someone. Yuck.

Satoshi followed in step with Shinya, but kept a small distance. As they walked up the stairs, the teen wondered what the other had been doing all these years. Did he join any sports? Have any new hobbies he knew about? Does... He have a new best friend? Has he dated? Is he dating someone now? All these questions swirled around in his head before the arrived at the other teen's room.

Avoiding to look behind him, he pressed on and climbed the stairs. Again, he had dug his own grave. Satoshi staying with him in the same room would probably give him a heart stroke. He hadn't felt that way for centuries. His blood coursed to his cheeks, somewhat dying it with a flush. A bad sign to have right now. His face burnt, but from what? Was it the awkwardness or something else? Every droplet of composure drained from his face, warning him of an explosion that might happen any moment. His clothes felt tight and heated, steaming his already searing face. lying played a role in those phenomena. Maybe I should just tell him He began consulting himself for another advice. But If I do, he'll hate me for it. His head spun in circles while trying to come up with a solution. In the first place he wasn't a good liar. It surprised him the other bought his acts and went along with it. Sooner or later his lips would hurl out the truth whether he liked it or not. Truly he was incapable of keeping up a lie and living with it.

He stole a glimpse over his shoulder and saw Satoshi following him up. If he had it bad down there, it got worse here in midst of their steps up. Weigh, a heavy one, fell on his back and crushed his spine, forcing his tears to the edge. He gazed away and increased his pace to create a gap between them. I can't do it. Until his conscience was clean his mind won't stop poisoning his limbs. Falling down to the last stage of his purgatory, his body became rigid, hard to move with. His steps were quivering and unstable. Taking one more step before standing in front of his sanctuary, he, for the zillion time, tried to cool down his head. You can do, It's better that way. His friend had been silent all through their trip up and hadn't spoken a word. Worry taking over him, he turned to check up on his friend. What is he doing? He had no presence, Shinya must admit. He stood there silently and hadn't inched more than asked to. Moving on instincts he brushed a lock of his hair away from his face and stared into his eyes.
'What're you thinking?' That hand set on fire immediately and retreated to its position. His mouth began slurring and making up new words and arms stuck out in denial. 'Forget what I said. I didn't mean anything. I have no right to ask that question!' He pushed the door open with force and hurried inside.

Having had reached his fortress, his racing heart eased and was reassured. The room was tidy because of the hard work he had done. And it made proud of himself. Normally would. Currently he was busy trying to make up for what he did. You can sit on the bed if you want.' Fly That word really ticked him off every time he laid eye on it. His father had to put it up on his wall. It was the worst lighting ever.

↠ Location: In Shinya's room
↠ With: Shinya
↠ Mood: Awkward and nervous
↠ Wearing: Clothes

When they arrived, Satoshi had stood behind the other at a distance. This was going to be more awkward than he hoped. Maybe dealing with his mother and Yamato being all mushy gushy wasn't a bad a idea. It might even be better than the uncomfortable silence he and his soon to be step brother were feeling right now. The teen had noticed that Shinya's body was tense, but he didn't think much of it. He was probably feeling as awkward as he was. The sound of a racing heart beat filled his ears, but he didn't know if it was Shinya's or his. Until felt the heart heavily pounding in his chest. He chewed on his lower lip in nervousness in hopes that his heart wasn't loud enough for him to hear.

A tense heat began to build up in the air shared between the two. Shinya wasn't budging or opening the door to his room. Satoshi figured he was thinking about it right before the other turned to face him. The auburn haired boy felt himself gulp, his mouth feeling dry all of a sudden. There was no need for him to be all nervous... He shouldn't be feeling this way...

That was when it happened. Shinya had a gentleness to his touch as he brushed a lock of his hair away from his face and spoke in a soft. His whole body froze in place and he felt like his face was on fire. His heart felt seemed to be beating a million times a minute without rest as the other stared into his eyes. He saw it. He knew. Satoshi knew at that moment that Shinya had indeed remembered him.

After Shinya's freak out, Satoshi walked into his room, his face never changing from its red color. He took his offer and sat down on his bed, looking around the room. It was clean, but since Shinya was a lot similar to him, he knew he was just stuffed away his mess. "Nice room..." The teen said softly, noticing the lighting. It was... Very interesting. He didn't think it was Shinya's taste though. It was probably his father's doing. His eyes had now looked to the ground once again, his teeth clenching onto his bottom lip to chew. It was a nervous habit of his that his mother tried to have him get rid of, but none of the things she tried work.
