Arion lifted a brow at her statement, especially about Caleb yelling at Kamen.
"Our time together was....interesting.... I suppose you could say. It was the first time in a long while that I spoke with a dragon" he said saying the last part with a small smile" the others where also curious about him, many of them didn't believe that dragons still existed" he said with a small sigh.

"No need to apologize, I've learned that sometimes being blunt is a sign of honesty." He said and closed his eyes at her question trying to figure out the answer himself.
He finally let out a sigh and told her the closest thing he could cone up with, "I am not sure, all I know is that I crave his presence. And I realize it sounds odd, to put it mildly, but it is the closest thing I can reply" he said in a serious voice.

"An interrogation?" He asked with a lifted brow and half smile, but he let out another sigh.
"I was.....confused.... At war with myself. I wished him joy, wanted him to find what he wanted and to be happy, but that was my....more civil nature " he said.
"But, my baser nature wanted to go after him. Like I said, I craved his presence it both intrigued and annoyed me. I take pride in.....well....my pride.....in my independence and it has been like that for years to have someone come and change that....well..." He said ending with a shrug, leaving the rest unsaid.

Era closed her eyes and sighed with reliefe then she opened them and looked at the floor. "Thing of it is...Kamen's life has not been easy, he was born with black scales in a clan of ice dragons, in dragon culture that is considered a bad omen and so theirfor Kamen was made an instant shut in, he was never allowed outside for the family fearing him transforming." She looked up and looked out the window "His family none of them took care of them but myself and maybe a maid and a butler but even those two didn't interact with him much. At the same time he never had to ask for something if he wanted it, it was always presented to him. But none of that mattered because the thing he wanted most was acceptance. Even his idea of leaving to look for a mate was nothing more then a farce to just run away from the true issue." Closing her eyes again she sighed once more then looked at Arion again. "He has gone out of his way to reach out to you like this it tells me he cares for you probabbly far more then what he is showing, he probabbly doesnt even know how, and might even be just as confused as you are, if not more."

Arion lowered his eyes at hearing about Kamens past, saddened for him, knowing how hard life could be when you felt all alone in this world.
Arion felt something rise up in his chest again.... But whatever it was, it WS greater than hope.
"Ms.Era...why are.....why are you telling me this?" He asked feeling a sudden lump in his throat.

"I see" Era said as she looked at the floor then she heard the water turn off she looked torwards the source then looked back at Arion. "I've got all I need, tell Kamen he doesnt need to hurry and I will see him later. See you Arion." she said then she headed for the door and walked out.

A couple of minutes after she had left but then Kamen came out of the bathroom he had no shirt on but did have pants on and a towel over his head he blinked and looked around then noticed Arion. "Arion, your awake."

Arion looked over at Kamen, as a familiar light sparked in his eyes, making him look away so that he wouldn't make Kamen feel awkward" Yeah Era visited, and just left she told me to tell you don't have to hurry and that she will see you later" he said fighting the urge to stare at Kamen.

Blinking, Kamen noticed Arion look at him, and even n oticed the look in his eyes he was surprised though when he looked away. Kamen looked at the floor then though and blinked. "So I did hear Aunt Era, alright." he walked over towards the phone. "Are you hungry? I can call room service."
