There is a legend long ago about a hero who was unbeatable in battle and as such the king of the land used the hero to fight in his wars, the hero fought and fought until one day he stopped. Nobody knows what happened exactly except that one day he refused to fight anymore, the hero threw away his weapon mid battle and just left; no one has seen him since.

However with a new war coming on the horizon many people have been sent to find and retrieve the hero without any luck until one day....



Name: Crowe

Personality: Due to years of being forced to fight for the king, his gentle and happy personality changed into one full of bitterness and anger. He ihas become very harsh and blunt, prone to snapping at people.
Background: Crowe was just a normal mercenary, one of many trying to make their fortunes on the battlefield, however he found out that for some reason he was extremely lucky on the battlefield, able to dodge and survive attacks that would kill his comrades; as well as being able to pinpoint an enemies weakness. While great at first this was soon exploited by king to turn Crowe into his personal attack dog and assassin.

Personality: He is kind and caring, not wanting anyone hurt though will fight and kill if necessary.
Background: Not much is known about Kylar for he has really only come here fairly recently as a traveler of sorts mainly as a scholar learning from many in many arts of combat among other things.

Crowe wound his way through the darkness towards his safe house checking periodically to make sure no one was following him. It has been two years since he escaped the king but he had grown somewhat paranoid during that time, even though he knew that outside of the king and his men nobody knew what he looked like. Hearing a noise he froze his hand going to his sword, it wouldn't be good to have some late night visitors.

Kylar was walking toward home or at least he thought he was, he had recently come to this town trying to learn something more in the arts of combat, though hadn't been very successful and the darkness of this town was a bit of an issue for him since he was used to having a bit more light to guide him home.

Hearing a noise to his left he raised his lantern high and unsheathed his sword silently making his way towards it. "It's probably just a deer or fox" Crowe thought as they were usually common in this area still, he didn't re sheathe his weapon. He kept going until he suddenly stopped and stared, there blundering around in the darkness was a man. Crowe had not seen any other people for ages as the safe house he lived was quite isolated, so why was there someone out here unless....

His face twisted into a scowl but he made no move towards the man, waiting to see what he would do first.

(Sorry I thought my post had posted. XD)

Seeing a man with a lantern he blinked a couple of times to get his eyes adjusted and said, "Um hello? Could you perhaps point me in the direction of pearl st? I'm still getting used to this place and can get lost here fairly easily." He asked without even noticing that the man had his sword out and ready to attack.

"That way" he said curtly, pointing in the direction the man was supposed to go and then turned on his heel, and began making his way back to his safe house. He sighed and ran a trembling hand through his hair. He was safe here, nobody knew who he was he had to remember that.

"Thank you kind sir." He said with a smile and as he walked in the direction pointed out to him he said under his breath. "He sure is cute if a bit serious."

If Crowe heard the man say that he didn't show it, he continued on his way to his safe house not letting up his face until he reached the door. Once he was inside he quickly shut the door and locked, and barred it. He wasn't afraid of intruders but he still preferred to be on the safe side.

After that encounter Kylar made his way to his home where he closed the door and simply locked it before opening his journal and began writing about his encounter with the handsome man that he now had a crush on.

Once he was done checking his house making sure no one had broken in, he headed to bed with a tired sigh. He was still somewhat frazzled by his meeting of the man but it was probably just a fluke. Doing a quick check he scowled he had forgotten to get some supplies he needed which meant he would have to make another trip back where that man had been going.

Crowe was not looking forward to it, he mostly lived the life of a hermit on occasion having to make a once a month trip to civilization which he hated. He knew that even after two years people were searching for him, and every trip he made down there led to a greater chance of him being discovered again.
