xx-Character's:Growing up on village of archipelagos, Athena was a much sweeter child back then, always trying to remain optimistic despite her livings. Raised in a run-down lounge run by her parents, she valued her family over anything else and was motivated by their hard-work. While not rich enough to afford things like toys, she managed to win over the friendship of several village children with her swimming abilities while impressing lounge customers with her singing. Overall, her life on Aquator was her paradise and sanctuary than any other place she heard of.

Being born in a solar system corrupted by a drug cartel, Athena was already cursed to a bad life. At the age of seven, she lost both of her parents to a pillaging on her hometown and was forced onto the crew. Originally, the lass was forced into a cage among many other captured children to act as laborers for the ship maintenance. If any were unfit or too weak, they were disposed of into the vacuum of space. At age 13, She spent most of her days loading and unloading loot off of the ship before managing to stop a thief from stealing her designated crates from starport by accidentally stabbing him in the middle of their scuffle. In return, she was deemed a pirate and crew member who was taught how to survive with knives and guns. While mortified by the fact that she had killed a man, it allowed her to survive which was all that mattered. She showed much valor as a pirate, even edging her way to a quartermaster for the ship at 18 years old. Good for her, but bad for the remainder of the crew. To be instructed by a child was not befitting of them.

After the crew staged an incident that Athena was in charge of, she was cast away in a crater on one of the moons of Nel Shadur as a result. With nothing to do but fend off hunger with eight rounds in a pistol and a vibroblade, she was forced to survive once more. After using her eight rounds up, she is now stuck among a moonbase of a now defeated enemy camp in hopes of getting one of their spacefighters in flight

» Background:

xx-Character's: Born into a high brow social standing on Phanrus, Ashara Vaadishk lived her life in constant lavish luxuries. For a time, this life was fine. The wealth of her parents fed each creative endeavor her overzealous mind could delve out. By the age of 7, she found this life to be quite dull and lacking in the stimulation she desired. In efforts to keep their only child happy, her parents enrolled her in several forms of combat training to appease her restlessness; mainly hand-to-hand and various close combat weaponry. Once again, she became content with the way her life was going. All the training kept her busy, and by proxy, all the staff that had to deal with her after training antics.

At the age of 15, Ashara signed herself up for the Legion's training program with promises of exciting adventure and intrigue. For awhile, her parents were against the decision, but by now, they realized they could no longer feed her ever present restlessness. Once fully enrolled, she took to denouncing the life of luxury that she once possessed to understand where the others in her troop came from. Often times, she could be heard referring to those with wealth as "Noblies that wouldn't know their aft ends from their arses without paying someone to tell them." By age 19, she was fully enlisted in the Legion as a commander in training. Her high skill levels and out of the box effective methods quickly earned her the rank of commander by the age of 20.

By the end of her 24th year, she recruited her final team member; a rogue by the name of Athena Dorne. At that point, her team was exactly how she wanted it and things were looking bright for her and the newly complete Banshee sect.

Limbus, one of multiple moons orbiting around the planet known as Nel Shadur. Of all of the planet's moons, Limbus had to be the most unique as well as largest. It is geologically active with more than a dozen active volcanoes on it's surface and several streams of lava coursing throughout the natural satellite. Another interesting feature surrounding the moon is it's craters of liquid nitrogen. After a cargo carrier accident a few decades ago, a supply of nitrogen had somehow been carried moved to a dozen of Limbus' empty craters. While some believe it to be just an accident, many go onto the case that the cargo carrier was purposefully shot down by the Cygnia Union militia that makes base on Limbus. Due to the mixture of intense heat of lava, the nitrogen was boiled down to a liquid state while the space's freezing temperature turned it into it's gaseous state. While being scorched away by the likes of lava is a threat. so is the chances of cold burns and dying of asphyxia. This makes Limbus also one of the deadliest loacations in the Nox galaxy let alone the entire universe.

Unfortunately, there was one peculiar being on this sphere of destruction who had definitely left her own mark of wreckage atop the surface. Specifically, within the Cygnia Union's moon camp of all places. While Cygnia Union was just another revolutionary army fighting for it's own selfish reasons, they were low on infantry and stretched out enough that there branches were ready to snap off at any moment. With only about fifty men within the base, Athena Dorne :at age 18, had managed to reduce that number back to zero in little under a day on her own.

After being deserted on Limbus thanks to the treacherous Nox Cartel, Athena had been forced to either strive or die between the many hazards that Limbus had to offer. Luckily, she had managed to snatch an Oxygen Kit before being kicked off. The crew was also stupid enough to let her hold onto both her blaster and knife. Maybe it was because they knew a child raised as a slave wouldn't stand a chance on her own in the dangerous environment or maybe it was the fact that while they didn't want her to have control over them they grew to care for her. Either way, the blonde still wanted to put a hole through every one of those bastards' hearts if she ever got the chance.

While making her way over the hellhole that this moon was, she eventually had crept up on the sightings of the camp. The first to find her was a patrol of four whom she took the advantage of by knocking one of the patrolmen into one of the nitrogen pits. Once the rest looked to investigate on their fellow soldier, it was just a matter of gunning them down fast enough before seeing her. After robbing the corpses of their weapons and ammo, as well any trinkets that caught her eye, she proceeded into the camp without an alarm set off or any notice of her from a soldier. Once in, it was just a matter timing and the element of surprise to pluck off those isolated from the rest of the infantry. Things started to turn a little sour once she was about twenty done-ins in as bodies were found and soldiers scoured the area for her. Whenever she was found, she would back track her steps to the shadows or into a ventilation shaft. From the two groups of five that she had that happen to, she worked her way executing them from the rear man and work her way up til the head man was disposed of. That was an easy ten kills right there with only a few bruises from soldiers putting up a fight.

The worst came when she was finally spotted on her way over to the fighter hangars to find a ship. It came down to a lot of duck and cover behind anything she could find that would do for taking a round. Luckily, the Limbus' settings had made its use once more since the camp was geothermal powered. Pools of lava were used to intense damage to anyone not being aware of their surrounding, while barrels full of liquid nitrogen were used as explosive hazards to harm any unfortunate soul. Then again when it's twenty armed soldiers against one woman, it's anybody's game at that point. With only an hour passing by at that time, she had ended the remainder of foot soldiers or any other officer that threatened her with an armed gun. By the end of it all, she walked away covered in soot and scratches. Luckily, the worst injury she took was a shot in her left arm. It was alright with her, since it wasn't her shooting arm.

The bad news was, that of the three ships in the hangar a fighter and carrier were destroyed in the gunfight. The only fighter left was in crippling damage and would need repairs that Athena wasn't even sure she would be able to even find or handle on her own. A new engine, part of a wing had been blown off, and maybe the warp drive would need a repair. Albeit if she could at least fly over to Nel Shadur, the she wouldn't need to worry about the drive. What came first was the engine and wing.

Back to present time, here was a somewhat gimping Athena pushing a cart of ship parts and repair supplies across the camp while listening to a song from a band called Mountain titled Mississippi Queen over the intercom of the communications tower from her tech bracer. While she didn't know where in the universe Mississippi was, she did know that the song had a very nasty beat to it that was fun to dance to between intervals from the supply stockades and the hangar. "To keep her lookin pretty. . .buy her dresses that shine. . ." she sang as she took a swig from a bottle of ale she found in the mess hall fridge, "While the rest of them dudes. . .were making their bread. . .damn this sucks" The cart nearly slipped away from her as she dropped to her knees as she was growing more tired with each trip back from the stockade. The ship wasn't even a quarter of the way done and she was already this tired. If she kept this up she would either pass out from the amount of blood she loss or eventually die from it. Even if she did get the ship going, there would be a high chance that a malfunction would go wrong before blowing up with her inside it. At this point it was best to just keep on going with the repairs while praying that a miracle came to pick her up off this forsaken satellite. She didn't care who it was just as long as they kept her alive for a little longer.

"Dingle dangly dong," Rang out a cheery voice guided by the vibrating metal of the Banshee ship; oddly named Spreta (Quacks). "Dingly swaying bits. In your face and on your ti-" Before the woman could finish, she heard the sounds of combat boots pacing towards her. "Whozit? Oh hello there Kami!" stated Ashara from her batty like hanging position with her legs clasped in irons above her door sill. From her position all she noticed was the worn boots that Kami was prone to wearing around the ship despite Ashara's encouraging other wise. At the present time, Kami was being greeted not by her captain's warm greeting, but rather a, more often than she is willing to admit, face full of uncovered rear. Ashara had been working on her upside crunches in the nude in order to get herself pumped for their next assignment on Lumbus. After a quick throat clearing, Kami explained why she had arrived. "We're at our destination Blue. Everyone is getting ready to head out. So cover your arse and lead the pack." She exclaimed with excitement before popping her leader square on the right cheek before heading down the hall. Once she was out of sight, the sound of "Banashe Nober!" (Banshees win nobbers) could be heard from the elated Kami and other fellow members of the squad. Ashara herself was ready to get all of this started and smiled in utter delight. "Finally, I get to put a knife in someone's neck!" With well trained flexibility, the commander swung herself up to unclasp her legs from the cuffs that bound them.

During this week, the Banshees had received an assignment from the Legion to capture one of the rebel soldiers for questioning while slaughtering the rest of them. More often than not, Ashara requested assignments such as this since it suited her fancy the most and really tested her team's ability to work as a solid whole. Once released and standing right side up, she grabbed ehr usual gear before heading out in the direction of the bridge; all while getting dressed as she walked. "Dingle dangly dong. Dingly swaying bits. In your face and your ti-" Once again Ashara's seemingly crude song was interrupted by Kami coming in to report that everyone was ready and to show off the new paralysis device. "Blue, everyone is-" Ashara immediately blurted out the rest of the song, "Tips! In your face and on your tips! Nothing like making a song out whip cream." Kami simply sighed and chuckled before continuing, "Silk and Vice are ready to go. And I have updated the voltrob bomb so we'll be able to get the whole lot down at once if they're all together." Ashara patted Kami on the shoulder to let her know that worked out, but now she was ready to get into game mode. She slipped her vest on and dialed in a code to notify the team that she was going to be releasing the bay door soon.

Soon afterwards, Ashara was greeted by Vice, Silk, and Kami all dressed and ready to get things started. Some of the other Banshee members had been charged with the task of scouting the area out while this small band completed the job. "Release!" Ashara called out and waved go as the door opened up and all of them took off to look for the soldiers. Early they had picked up on quite a bit of movement, but had not checked since then seeing as they had not moved at all after some time. The commander took off in front of her crew to see what she could spot and signal out for their strategy. However, to her surprise and obvious disappointment, she found all the soldiers lying dead in various parts of the camp with only a sole survivor walking around amongst the scraped ships. "Ashara should we move?" Kami asked as she held a smoke bomb in her hand ready to be triggered and tossed. "Not yet. She doesn't look like one of the rebels. Who is that? Stay here." With that, Ashara moved forward and signaled for the remaining three to spread out and cover for her should something go awry. "Looks like you're a little lost. Five words to explain what did all this." She called out towards the female in front of her.

The sound of machines deconstructing the fighter ship apart were all being conducted by a control panel a few feet away. While Athena knew how to manually repair ships; why make work harder when there was a faster route to getting out of here alive? Even now she was practically trembling as she forced her wounded arm to twist dials and pulling levers as if somebody was churning a finger in the open flesh. It was already complicated as is since her blood stained the control screen and made it hard to grip the controls. It would have been much easier if she knew first aid, but those bastards back at the cartel would only teach an ignorant child so much. It was survival of the fittest and if she showed any sign of weakness, the blonde would have been ditched into the black void of space before being drained of all oxygen. Maybe much worse if she continued to think about, but the memories of watching the same fate to her fellow cell mates face the same punishment made her shutter to repress such a dreadful memory. She tried her best to fixate on the sparks sawing through the fighter wing to keep her mind at ease, before being shocked by the presence of somebody there with her; a fellow woman.

The mechanical appendages at work among the currently maintenance vessel halted as Athena took her hands away from the dashboard at the sound of the interrogating approach from the woman. "Crap! Did I miss one of them?" She wondered as she remained subdued into a pause by this mysterious woman. A quick glance over the woman's appearance identified her as indeed some kind of soldier, but no uniform of Cygnia's platoon looked like her's. So who was she? Never had she seen another person with such exotic features: Blue with shades of purple, eyes filled with a golden hue, along with a body obviously strapping enough to walk with ease in a jacket like such. None of those featured disrupted her ease, but the mysterious atmosphere around her kept her on guard as it felt like at any second, this woman could incapacitate her without a struggle. What an unsettling characteristic to have! One that even made the young woman cautious as to the danger that this woman might have in store for her. She needed to think of a way to escape this predator before she became prey.

"Stranded. . .not lost. . ." she stated with an uneasy smirk as she whipped the white fringe away from her eyes while counting how many words she just used up on her fingers. Like the thieves she was raised by, Athena would never declare herself as lost, only journeying. From her standpoint, she could notice the new wing she intended to use for the ship suspended out in front of the enigmatic dame distanced apart from her. If this woman was indeed part of the Cygnia Union or even some other factor, then she would need to make some sacrifices to get away and find some cover. "I retaliated." She finally finished before kicking the manual lever holding up the wing overhead, to drop the ship section. While the wing made it's fall down, Athena decided now was her best chance over none to get the hell out of there for better grounds. With only a quick look back, she dashed out of the hanger to make her getaway to the garrisons. She was not about to make this any easy kill for the lady, if she was going to die, she was going to put up a little restraint. "Next time give me a few more words!" her voice echoed through the dome before she was long and gone.

Eyes trailed off to each side to take in more of the damage surrounding both of the women. Ashara had to admit she was quite impressed by how this mysterious blonde haired female had taken out this whole platoon alone. She placed her hands on her hips, also conveniently near her knives, and gave a long whistle; thus ignoring most of Athena's explanation. The only thing that brought her back was a sharp creaking sound of a wing being released from its hooking. With minimal effort she jumped back and covered her mouth and nose to prevent any of the incoming dust-up from inhibiting her breathing. Kami rushed to her side despite the order to stay back in case she needed distant back-up. "Blue. Are you alright?" She asked wondering why her leader was now in a fit of laughter. Ashara leaped over the wing and headed towards Athena's escape route. "I'm fine. Just need to go and retrieve our newest Banshee!" Kami was dumbfounded that once again their spirited leader had taken off after someone alone. "Tarashok. . . Assin. . .," She called out the phrase much too often spoken by her and other members for the Banshees. (Tarashok- Lets go get her; Assin- Again)

Ashara looked around for any signs of the mysterious female amongst all the culture and dust. Down on the floor was a trail of small blood droplets from the injury that she had noticed on the others arm. "Come back! I just want to ask you something?!" She called out no longer caring about being quiet and covert with her speaking. With her well trained speed, she took off in the direction of the blood droplets and occasional bloody hand print to locate her. Once they were in the same area she called out again with more excitement. "I'm impressed by you. Want to be a Banshee?" The Banshee commander kept her distance from her, as far as she was concerned, new recruit just in case she tried anything funny.

There was a loud groan from the Venollelian known as Silk as the slender woman followed commands and pursued after her commander with Vice and Kami. "Not this again! Isn't it obvious to her that that girl just tried to crush her? I mean, don't you think she's quite absurd and childish when it comes to new people?" The black bangs covered woman asked as she huffed through her face mask.

"Beats me!" Vice stated as she followed behind Kami, "I think that she has spunk to go pulling a move off on Blue like that! It's not like she drafts in bad results! Look at what this little Chi'rida did!" They were running past what looked like a calamity through the Cygnia union's facility. "It looks like she took out more soldiers in one day than you have in four months, Princess!" Vice laughed much to the annoyance of Silk.

"I take out high-ranking officers, not pawns." Silk mumbled as they continued after Ashara and the mystery girl.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Athena had managed to make her way across the garrisons over to the barracks in hopes of losing this lethal figure amidst the corridors. Making distance between the two was something she was satisfied with, but the act of running in her conditions was something she loathed at the moment as she made endeavors to maneuver around corners and escape through doorways.like it was some sort of maze. It didn't help that her arm was still dripping blood all over the place. With how many times she bumped into the hallway walls, it wouldn't take long for- "Come back!" She heard as the woman was right on her trail. "Oh for the love of. . ." She sighed as she picked up the pace of her run. How the hell did this woman catch up to her so soon? "Piss off!" She said as she turned and aimed her gun at the strange woman. Her blaster was a rather nasty stinger as it was named after one of the deadliest insects in the Nox galaxy, a nova hornet. With a black material surrounding it, an orange power core in it's barrel ignited the gun and it's intricate striped design wrapping around in the previously mentioned material with a bright gold glow from underneath.

As she huffed to keep her arm up and was practically aiming everywhere but her desired target's head, she listened to her words of praise before giving her a rather confused look with a flustered face. "W-what?" she stuttered as her guard dropped from the flattery. That was the first time since leaving Aquator that she was complimented from anyone besides the native villagers. She continued to listen to the woman as she asked on becoming something called a Banshee. "A Banshee?" She once again spoke up with a raised brow. As much as she wanted to get off this cruddy rock, there was still a part of her that was skeptical about just suddenly joining a random woman and her so-called Banshees. She was just abandoned by the only group of people she was bound to after what felt like little more than a decade, how could she just randomly trust this new group's ambassador? "Never heard of them!" She exclaimed as she turned her cross-hairs to a pipe hugging the wall next to the bizarre female. Firing a single-round down the narrow hallway, she managed to puncture the pipe as it let out a jet of stream from the pillar towards the woman. "What reason would you even want me to join these Banshees of your's? You hardly even know me?" She questioned the woman as she made her escape once more through the hallways before heading up to the next floor by stairs.

The Banshee leader continued to ignore the pistol before her face fully knowing there was no way that unsteady and bloodied arm would make a kill shot. Now that she was a tadbit closer, there was a lot more of her attributes and overall injuries in view. Once they got back she would most certainly need to see Stitches immediately upon arrival. Again she was impressed by the female standing before her. She had appeared to be fixing a ship before and probably leaving as soon as possible. That might not have been a successful venture for her, but the effort surely was not lost on Ashara. With her attention still on Athena, she listened to what she said, but paid more attention to her body language. Something was going to happen soon enough and there was no way she was going to be caught off guard. From the twitch of her eyes to the attempted steadying of her firming arm gave Ashara all she needed to know. With a steady and quick crotch followed by a quick push of her legs moved Ashara out of the way before the oncoming steam burned her. "She's a right feisty one, yeah. Time to get her out of here before I lose a promising new recruit,"

Ashara looked around to find a way to get past the steam and back on track.
The fastest option would require a few acrobatic feats to get over and past the steam. She stepped back enough to give her a decent amount of running and preparation space. Once last glance let her know she would be alright. After a quick sprint, she made her way to the wall by the source of the steam and wall ran above and over the steam until she was back on the floor. That alone had given the woman more opportunity to run and hide. The next area looked filled with items that would make it difficult to notice the woman's blood without having to perform a thorough examination and that was not feasible. "Guess I'll have to use it. Kami is going to kill me for using this so soon." She spoke before shutting her eyes and reopening them with a very soft click. Her eyes now had switched to heat sense mode from a piece of tech that she had installed. In no time she notice the only other living creature large enough to be her newest recruit. At a bit of a faster pace, she made her way down the corridors towards to the steps and stopped just short of where the woman had gone to next. "I know you want off this rock, yeah? Why not join us then? We're part of the Legion's special task forces. Banshees work to end the war and get people back to their lovies. You don't seem like a spy or you would have been done by now. You've got skills and took out a whole patrol by your lonesome. I like that." She called out to give her some space while still keeping her heat signature within her sights.

There that woman went speaking again while Athena wondered in and out of several suite like rooms within the facility. Duck and cover were always the best tactics she used when running in and out of trespassing areas that the Nox crew tasked her with. Still for some reason, playing keep away from this woman was much more chilling than hiding from the former patrol that roamed these corridors or staying out of sight from guards. She was faster to pick up on the drifter's presence as she could hear her voice getting close to her several times before she moved places. Something wasn't right here, the woman was using something to detect her, but she didn't know what it was exactly. Perhaps it was her blood? The suites were too cluttered to notice any specks leading a direction. What was it? She needed to think fast to give herself distance once more. There had to be someway to shroud herself from this all-seeing soldier chasing her.

She glanced up to notice a sprinkler system installed before getting an idea to cover her existence a little more. Taking a look around she managed to spot a touch pad attached to a corridor wall. She wandered over to the panel while picking up a blanket off the floor and throwing it over her body. A very primitive move, but she knew it might work for a minute while she swiped through the interior controls of the building. "Come on. . .come on. . ." She whispered to herself before finally coming across the controls to the sprinkler system. With a quick press of the button before slipping back into one of the rooms, the fire alarm began going off and along with it came the sprinklers. The cold shower not only rinsed off any blood from the blonde's scarlet dripping arm, but it also cooled down her temperature as well as the blanket unintentionally This had to help some way in her opinion otherwise she was shivering for nothing. The noise covered her steps, the pouring water cut off vision and her scent; whatever her adversary might be using should be of no effect now. On the other hand, that meant her blaster as well as her vibroblade would be a risk to use too due to the shocking hazard it risked. But now they had to be on equal terms, right? Everything was impaired to one another so the only options for her to get out of here was was get the jump on the woman before she caught sight of her. How hard could it be?

"You want me to go out and risk myself for people I have no clue about?" Her voice echoed in question as she began her search for the woman, "You're insane." The only part that did sound tempting was the fact that she had a ship, but flying with her meant she would listen to the woman constantly insist she joined these Banshee's probably."Give me one good reason, besides a trip out of here, that I should join you." She called out once more before going silent once again in a different location. As she finally crept up on the woman, she quickly shifted back behind the wall hiding her to ready her attack plan. After getting her adrenaline pumping to fight this time, she took a sudden lunging hook for the woman. Either it was going to be a swing or a miss, otherwise she would have failed to take her advantage in point and be forced to getting even closer to this dangerous woman with her fists. Of course the only thing coursing through her mind, other than fear, was her will to survive through whatever was in store for her.

Inside the woman's ear was a soft beeping to inform her there was no longer a trackable heat signature beyond her own. Unless there was another room beyond the one she was in last then the mysterious woman should still be in there somewhere. "Guess I shouldn't have bothered to use this thing before Kami finished it," She stated aloud before shutting the device off with a quick double blink of her eyes. This female was really determined to stay on this isolated rock and risk dying trying to escape or getting captured by a less friendly crew; if one were to even arrive within a good amount of time.

She carefully opened the door to gain a quick peek into the room while defending herself from any potential impending attack the woman might muster. The coast appeared to be clear as she heard the woman speak out about her offer amongst the sounds of pouring rain and metal being used by it to play a tune that had no real rhyme. "Hmm I guess this is what is throwing off the signal. I'll have to let Kami know about that." She thought before taking a quick glance around the room as she entered. Despite all the noise she heard the breathing of the woman amongst all the other noise and knew she was coming. The commander considered not playing this game with her since time was of the essence, however, the fact that she did not get to have a real fight was enough to make her reconsider. Besides, if she was going to recruit this woman than she needed to know what she was like in a life threatening situation should the moment ever arise after her joining.

With a relaxed breath, she side stepped the woman's adrenaline fueled blow before giving her a very light chop to the back. Afterwards she paced back a bit in anticipation of the next potentially wild swing. "Can't attack that wildly, yeah. Had I really wanted to hurt you that blow would have been enough. Rethink yourself and try again. Come on then." She stated before getting into a fighting stance with a huge smile on her face.

The feeling of the whiffing air was a moment of both disappointment and fear as Athena knew she was wide open for a finishing blow. She was ready to clinch and accept failure waiting for a devastating hit to end her, but it was a startling surprise to feel only a light hit and what more even comments on her wild attack on the woman. As she turned to see the woman in a readying stance with a dumb smile on her face, she could only stand there and look dumbfounded at why she wouldn't just take her out after giving her such a difficult time and declining her invitation. This servicewoman wasn't backing down despite the continuous assaults that the marauder continued to deliver, this very reason gave the blonde woman her own reason to crack a smile in disbelief that this woman was looking at her like they were friends just playing around under the surging waters overhead in some overtaken enemy camp. "Either you're a real nutcase or you have some serious confidence that I'm not going to hit you to not put me down." She chuckled as she replicated the woman's fighting stance, "I can't wait to make you regret that choice."

The more she stood around this woman, the more she could feel this thrilling sensation aura begin to overcome her. While she wanted to survive this encounter, she could tell by her tightening grip and scanning eyes that she wanted to one-up this cocky woman and her attitude just to shut her up. Even if she didn't do it this time, she would want plenty of other opportunities to shut her up the next time. She'd never felt this way back on the cartel, it was much more euphoric and natural. She needed to prove to this woman that she was equal to her, not below her.

"It was wild maybe, but it brought you out from hiding." She commented as she gripped the blanket in her hand, "Let me show you something I caught sight of a while back." To start off her next move, she hurled the shroud in her hand through the air to cut off the woman's vision in front of her. As she made a run towards the corridor walls she retried to think back on a certain memory she looked back on during one the raiding of a a certain drug lord's orbiting station near Barokar. While running about on her search for a certain cache of narcotics, she encountered a very interesting ex-special force man trained in some hybrid form of Muay thai and Savate. While she wasn't stupid enough to run forth this man, she watched a former crew mate fall victim to such an astounding finishing move. As she kicked off the corridor wall, she used that muscle memory of her's to coordinate her movements with a fierce torque into a full spin in the air momentum before launching into a mid-air spinning heel kick right at her opponent."I'll have to thank you now for letting me try this out on you!" Athena stated as her foot came flying behind the blanket for the mysterious figure with intent to finish this chase once and for all. "I was starting to have fun with you!"

Now the fun could truly begin for the both of them. The commander watched carefully to determine what the next few moves entailed. To her hidden disappointment, she watched as the woman performed a predictable motion for the blanket. There was a dying hope that this woman would simply dispose of the blanket to the side and take her on woman-to-woman. With a loud inner sigh, she heard her words, saw the blanket fly, all before sighing outwardly. In almost an instant, Ashara allowed her body to go limp behind the blanket just enough to drop to her knees and avoid what she was sure would be an aerial or upper body strike to put this fight to an end. There she stayed before looking up to watch the kick intended to take her down. "The motion and technique is sound, yet it's hampered by her present condition." She thought in analysis while trying to decide how to take her down. Now more than ever, there was an anticipation for this woman to join the team and train with the rest of the Banshees. In fact, maybe she had already received some sort of specialty training to perform these feats against her and the troop prior.

"The fun is only just starting my new Banshee," Ashara stated with renewed vigor. Before Athena was fully back on her feet, the commander rose to hers and put her target into a thrown position similar to some practiced in the Hapkido technique. As she brought her down ant put her into a hold, there came a few quick jabs from her fingers in pressure points to shut off Athena's arms and legs so she could no longer run or fight. "You have potential, but you're sloppy and not the good kind. Brash and rushing to end things instead of thinking them out." She rises off the woman and stretches a bit as the sprinklers turned off above her. "I can help you, yeah. But, you have to join us in the Banshees. You can become a great fighter and when the war is over you can leave if you want. A much better life awaits you afterwards."

It was clear across the young woman's that she was done for after that move was easily avoided by the adroit servicewoman. Before she could even get her footing together, she could feel the woman grab a hold of her in an instance, despite her position. "Well fu-" her mind started before she was thrown upside-down over shoulder and slamming into the hard tiled floor. Upon immediate impact with the ground, the blonde refuge found herself writhing for air as she felt the wind knocked out of her. She couldn't remember the last time she felt such an excruciating pain in her life. Maybe the feeling of taking a brutal punch to the gut as a kid was close, but still it was a long ways from the feeling she was experiencing right now. But then again, the blonde wasn't even close to ready to the quick jolts of pain delivered to her joints as she was rendered immobile by the woman's precise jabs and pin down. That was a whole different sense of agony as she gave a short little gasp in her attempt to let out a scream of torment before burying her face into the wet tile underneath her to stifle her whimpers.

As she laid there reluctantly listening to the woman critiquing her moves, she turned her head to flash a scowl at the woman the more she continued on about joining her and the Banshees. The more she went on trying to persuade Athena, her groans became louder trying to ignore this triumphant being over top of her. "Aquatore en Calypsia. . . .Fine! I'll join you and your damn lady brigade!" the teenager declared between hysterical chuckles that she was agreeing to this, "But only because that means I'll get more chances to kick that cocky a** of your's to the ground and flip this whole situation so that I'm the one on top." She tried thrashing about to get free, but knew she wasn't going so far since she couldn't feel her legs or arms move around. "Not like I planned on meeting some blue-headed psychopath who knew how to fight. . .She huffed as she felt the adrenaline wearing off and the fatigue kick back in, "You should work on introducing yourself sometime instead of threatening your recruits. . .sometime. . . " Her eyes were growing heavier and heavier as she noticed the blood washing away onto the white flooring of the place before falling unconscious. She had really worn herself out with the fight and running around that she forgot she was losing blood from her arm. If this woman really wanted her around then she would need to get her to a medic ASAP.

Meanwhile Vice was the first one to reach the two as she followed the sound of their voices to find her commander over top the blonde figure "Did you get her Asha-woah! I didn't think you'd be making advances on her after she nearly crushed you. Should I tell Kami and Silk that we need to wait outside or. . ." she joked as she stood there staring at the awkward positioning of the two women.

Ashara listened to all that her newest recruit stated while wearing the same triumphant grin that so often graced her lips after obtaining every new successful recruitment. It started to sound like all the others before her with only slight changes. "I'm only joining because I want to", "I'm only joining because you made me", "I'm only joining because-" always seemed to be the start of all of it. The thought alone brought the commander to a brief fit of giggles to the point that the final statement had almost been lost. "Commander Ashara Vaadishk. Welcome to the Banshees," She said with enthusiasm despite knowing the woman was already out cold. Before she could get up fully, she heard the boisterous voice belonging to Vice teasing her about already bedding new recruits. "Oy. Don't get your silks in a twist out of jealously that you didn't get the privilege when I recruited you." She chuckled out. That was always Vice with her. In fact, she was one of the few recruits that never had an "only because" following their agreement to join which in turn earned Ashara's full respect. "Lets get her to Stitches before we don't have a new recruit." Ashara moved off the woman, and with Vice's assistance, removed her jacket and hood before using torn strips of the hoody as a makeshift tourniquet. By then Kami and Silk arrived to help get the woman out safely first then start on a quick recon for supplies or useful information.

------------------------------------------------------------

The new two hours were spent by the rest of the Banshee crew checking for any potential survivors and information that they should have gathered from a captive. Ashara herself, was not looking forward to explaining why the Banshees had not taken a single captive. All the papers and electronic devices still needed to be searched for, hopefully, some iota of knowledge that would over blow the lack of a captive. The commander paced around trying to think of what would be written in the report. Before she finished her thoughts, there was a quick throat clearing sound and a distinct smell of medical tool cleansers. "She's all patched up, however she won't be battle ready while her injuries heal. Which means no missions for her yet Blue. At all. Not even to fetch something." Ashara just laughed and waved her off knowing the lecture was still to come from Kami so there was no point in listening to the constant warnings. "I get it, yeah. Thanks Stitches, you are the best medic I could ever ask for." She stated with an honest heart and warmed smile before walking in the direction of the makeshift med-tent for the woman that had yet to give a name.

While Athena was out unconscious, her mind slowly left her wondering through her own memories once more. Like usual it always started off with a flurry of gun shots going off and a scene of a young girl groveling at the dirt road of a village over two figures with burlap bags over their heads laying unresponsively on the ground. As Athena stood off to the side as she was reluctantly drawn to the image of the tearful little girl sob for what felt like hours while trying to find someway to stop the bleeding over these two people that she must have cared very deeply for to stain her arms and hands in their blood. It was hopeless to watch as the little girl tried her best to cradle the more womanly of masked figures while attending to the other. The blonde locks belonging to the masked woman draped over the young one's arms as she embraced what must have been her mother's head while mourning. Off to the side, her other hand rest gently on the male figure's back as if trying to tell him that it was going to be alright as if hoping for him to get up and be perfectly fine from his slumber. It was cringing as Athena's vision refused to turn away while she prayed for those cowls to continue to covering their faces to be free of the trauma of whatever expression could be across their faces. She knew it would never happen though, the rogue woman herself never had the courage herself to see what expression her parents had on their face when they died. She had been far too weak back then.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the blonde finally began to come to, she could only find enough energy to turn her head around to the fading-in sounds of a conversation coming through to her consciousness.

"If you don't care about her, then why are you here checking up on the new girl. Princess? It's not like you to be so bothered by somebody. " The first of the voices chuckled in amusement. It was a much heavier and rugged voice, but she could tell by pitch of the voice it was a woman. "Or are you still jealous that some random woman stole the show away from you?"

"No. . ." the more stern, yet higher voice replied, "I just find it hard to believe that she did all of that out there. She can take out a whole entire platoon by herself, but can't beat Blue? It's unbelievable. Not to mention it's going to be impossible for her to explain to the higher-ups why we couldn't bring back a single captive. That's not going to help me out one bit." Wasn't this voice just the pessimistic one? For such a serene tone, it was cold as space itself.

"That may be true, I heard it was pretty scarce for you to find any documents. At least we have Kami here though! I'm sure the head of tech can get into their database and pull some sort of intel on Cygnia's plans of attack." Athena opened her eyes to match the voice to that of a monstrously huge blue woman with short dreads focused on a more perturbed being with arachnid-like legs attached to her back crossing her arms, "Plus no one has beaten Blue in a fight since I was first recruited into Banshee, so cut her some slack. Didn't you end up getting tangled up in your own webs because of her the first time you two fought? She's like trying to take on all these guys here at the same time." It didn't take Athena long to figure out who they were talking about.

The smaller of the two shifted her weight to her other leg as she gave a suck on her teeth in disapproval. It was hard to read her expression as the bottom half of her face was hidden by a red veil. "Don't let that Ytalongan hear you complimenting her. I don't want to sit across from that egotistical grin of her's on the way back to base. That attitude of her's is already too much for me to handle." The woman said with a bit more of annoyance in her voice. Glad to know she wasn't the only one to find that smug look so unbearable. "I guess that no longer makes the Melvarian the new girl then. It's hard to believe that errant girl is a military brat. There aren't any files on her, but I heard she put Blue through quite the trial on the closed initiation spar into Banshee once Ashara decided to go overboard with it again. Even Kami looked a little anxious on answering when some of the other ladies humored about who could win a fight between the two on the last mission I was on with her.I suppose she must be this camp and half of another one then." She explained before an amused expression could be seen under the mask, "Now that I think about it, I did see her walk out of Gale's bunker with a glazed look over her face. It was kind of satisfying to see her bubbly expression diminished to a bored look." What a sadistic kind of woman that was talking right now.

"Yeah, Nanira is-" the blue woman started to reply before glancing over to notice that Athena was finally awake, "Well look who decided to finally wake up!? Stitches said you should've been asleep for another hour or so! You're just full of impressive feats then!" Athena tried her best to sit up, but found herself still wincing in pain all over as she collapsed back on to the make-shift cot below her. "Easy there! Besides the blood loss, Blue went and left some bruising on you. She's kind of prone to going overboard with cho'chatas she likes. She had to take out all that energy she'd been saving up for besieging this whole entire camp. You should've seen how sad she was! Anyways you'll get used to it once you go on a few more missions with her." The blue being insisted while Athena tried to adjust to her conditions. It was hard waking up to nothing but her whole body feeling sore as can be.

She looked down at her left forearm where the bullet wound was now patched up and had been attended to. She clenched her fist and know how the pain was still there, but nothing compared to before. At least now, she close her hand all the way. Now the only problem was the large blue woman in the room as Athena couldn't help to feel a little uncomfortable by such a towering being casting a shadow over her with such a welcoming smile. She looked over at the other woman who had grown quiet as she glanced away from her without acknowledgement. "Uh. . .who are you two?" Athena asked as she finally broke the silence. "Easy! I'm Quiara Umbra Cha'tubele , but you can call me Vice! And the princess over there is called Silk!", Vice looked over at Silk in a teasing manner, "Do you want to tell her your actual name, Silk?" Athena could see the annoyed leer piercing through Vice from the slender woman as her back legs twitched and fidgeted in disapproval. "Not in the slightest really. . ." Silk stated as she slithered her way out of the tent to go survey the ground once more.

"Don't worry about her! She's just a little agitated right now because of the circumstances at the moment." Vice chuckled as she reached her arm out that was nearly the size of Athena's upper body, "And you are? Come on! Don't be rude! We're Banshees just like you are! How'd you get here?" Athena looked a little cautious of the humongous blue hand and how to shake it without her hand being crushed. She took hold of one of the extended fingers and shook it that way with a nervous look. "A-Athena Dorne. I got stranded here after the crew I was apart of left me stranded here to die." Dorne explained as she met those dark red eyes of Vice's which looked as if she was looking right past her as she talked. "Nope! Not a clue! But it sounds like you were a pirate or a bandit, am I right?" Athena looked at the woman with a confused look as if she was being taken seriously, but she had to be since she hit spot on. She had been part of a crew who forced her to steal, shoot and perform all sorts of crime since she was a child. What harsh way to be labeled by someone, but she had to accept facts. "Yeah, I'm a bandit I guess. I've raided a lot of places." She enthusiastically confessed with a sigh. "That's awesome, Bandit! I blow stuff up for a living!" Vice stated with opposing enthusiasm.

What exactly was she getting herself into? "Right. . .Is that my name now?" She rubbed her face as she tried to recall the last thing she was doing before winding up here in these conditions.
