Bio: Skylar was born in Romania two to demons, one a succubus and the other the Sin of Lust. Because of this, both men and women want him but he he a tendency to avoid people if he can. Also, he was abandoned by his mother when she realized that he was more powerful than her so he left him to die in the ice and snow of Romania's winters and would have died had a kind woman had't found him and taken him in as her son. After school, he went on to college, getting a bachelor's in child Medicine and taking over as the lead pediatrician of the local hospital. Not much is know about him as he keeps to himself unless it's a patient.

Skylar sighed as he finished his shift for work. Today has been a hectic day as there had been plenty of little ones that had been sick and the parents, moat of them first time, had panic, swarming the hospital and generally scaring the hell out of most of the staff due to the suddenness. As he clicked out, he decided that a night on the town was in order but first, he had to go home for a shower and a change of clothes before heading to this nightclub that his Co-workers had raved about. And win that, he headed home to do just that. After getting cleaned up and changed he headed to the club, looking around in interest when he was let in.

If there was one thing Haruki liked the most about his job as a bartender, it's because of the fact that he could interact with a lot of customers, both old and new, while trying out his concoctions. Tonight, he was in the mood to serve Cosmopolitans and martinis as the usual requests by the patrons, though there were a few adventurous souls who yearn for flaming shots. It would be a lie to say that things worked out fine after the attempt; some people were just imbecilic to not put it out before consuming the beverage, hence they end up with scalded mouths and chins. The bartender was exasperated and he assisted them by putting the fire out and giving them some cream to treat the wounds. He may be a party goer, but he wouldn't dare go to the extreme like that.

Skylar sighed as he made his way to the bar. After the day he had, he needed a drink. Or a few. And if one more person, make or female, hits on him win a lame pick up line one more time, someone was going to get hurt. He gave another sigh as he slid into an empty seat, tapping the counter hard to get the bartender's attention while continuously ignoring the many lustful and longing looks he was getting. God, he hated being a Incubus sometimes. He couldn't be normal. Not even by demon standards and was't that a sad thought? He had to fight the urge to big his head in the table as yet another person asked him to dance and once again he flat out refused before turning his attention back to the bar.

The bartender was busy cleaning up the mess when he heard the tapping on the counter. His verdant orbs inspected the form of the newcomer and smiled. He admitted that the male looked beautiful, though the other's looks were a bit beyond human standards. But then there were the looks of people wanting to get a piece of the stranger. He swore that he would call the bouncers to kick them out since he didn't want any lewd activity inside the nightclub, though a little public display would be okay in his book. He approached the newcomer with a curious look. "What's your pick, newcomer? Our drinks for today include martinis and Cosmopolitans, though I may stir up a little something that you may like if you do the verbal request for it politely."

Skye's blue eyes cut to him after he Chad sent another person off in rejection. He took a moment to admire the bartender, thinking him cute before pulling his thoughts together to answer the question. "At this point, I'm so not in the mood for a martini or a Cosmopolitan. Can you make me something stronger, please?" he asked politely, making sure his manners were innocent as he didn't want to offend the bartender. He needed something strong to take the edge of the stress of today. He loved his job but sometimes, it was just too much.

Haruki grinned at the newcomer's request for a strong drink and a low chortle erupted from his throat. "Very well. But no flaming shots; you might have seen what happened to those who failed to put out the fire before drinking. Not to mention I had to clean the mess up. You might like what I'll concoct for you instead." And with that, he grabbed a bottle of vodka, gin, Triple Sec, rum and tequila, with sugar syrup and lime juice as additional bonuses for a little oomph. As he measured each ingredient through the jiggler, taking some time to perfect the drink, the bartender asked a question, verdant orbs connecting azure blue. "May I ask for your name, young gentleman? You may call me Haruki, the bartender - slash - mixologist for this nightclub."

Skylar blinked at the statement and started to ask what he meant but then decide that he did not want to know and just nodded his head in agreement. He was curious as to what the other was making and prayed that it had a kicked because he was going to needed it. As he watched him, another person decides to try her luck and asked Skylar if he wanted to dance and he gave her a glare that could freeze lava in its tracks. "No, thank you" he replied firmly and the girl walked away rejected. This was going to be a long night, wasn't it? "It's a pleasure to meet you, Haruki. My name is Skylar." he said with a smile, finding himself liking this human just a bit.

He was now shaking the drink carefully, making sure that the finished beverage was incorporated carefully before being pouring it onto the glass. As he applied the zesty lime juice and sugar syrup mix on top, he noticed a girl trying her luck on the boy only to get shot down by the glare and the word. The boy then introduced himself as Skylar and he absorbed the information with amusement. "Skylar, huh? That's such a pretty name for a guy like you." He was started to get attracted to him but he had to resist the urge because he didn't want to be like the others who annoyed the heck out of the young man with their advances. The bespectacled man presented the finished drink to him, grinning. "Here you go. Long Island Iced Tea. Feel free to take a sip."

Skylar snorted at the statement. "Yes, I know. You are not the first person to tell me that. And you probably will not be the last." he replied with a smile at Haruki as he placed his hand against his cheek as he continued to watch the brunette. He accepted the drink with another smile, thanking Haruki before taking a sip. His blue eyes lit up at the taste that hit his taste buds. "Mmm. This is really good." he said after taking another sip, licking his lips. Now, this was what he needed.

At Skylar's commentary about his name, Haruki smiled. Of course, that would be the normal reaction for someone with such a fancy handle. The bartender witnessed the newcomer taking a sip of the drink. Based on the facial expression as well as the smile on the visage, it fitted well to his specifications for tonight. He chuckled. "I'm glad. It's a mix of the great spirits that will surely get you soaked up because of the alcohol volume of each ingredient. If you want, I'll fix another glass for you." Perhaps, the Long Island Iced Tea would become the new customer's favorite, but the mood may change during their next encounter.

Skylar listened as Haruki explained about the different flavors of the drink. "Well, like I said, it's very well done and I think inmates have found a new favorite drink."he replied with another smile at Haruki, gaining jealous looks from people around them, which he ignored. "Thank you. I would like that very much." he added with a laugh, relaxing slightly but still keeping a wary eye on the various men and women glaring at them or well, Haruki. There just something about the bartender that made him easy to talk to. Maybe it was because he wasn't trying to hook up with him or drive him crazy with pick up lines.

The positive commentary about the concoction induced a huge smile on the bartender's face. "I'm sure that they won't regret giving this a try." He simply ignored the glares and the envious grunts from the folks who were targeting Skylar, though he internally laughed in glee at their abhorrent remarks because the others failed at what he could accomplish best. At the affirmation for another drink, he tilted his head, showing off his huge grin. "Another glass coming right up." He ended up pouring two glasses' worth of the beverage for the attractive man, hoping to satiate the craving for alcohol. Haruki would do anything to keep the guy happy.

Skylar just smiled at Haruki before finishing off his first drink. "I am sure that people are going to love it once they get a taste." he replied, running a hand through his blue hair as he once again shot down another invitation for a dance. What part of not interested did these people not get? He wanted to sigh in frustration but he just focused on Haruki and that seemed to do the trick. He liked Haruki and found himself starting to become attracted to him but that was neither here or there. "Wicked. Thanks." he all but purred when he started on the next two drinks. Yep. Definitely his new favorite drink.

Indeed, Haruki was glad that Skylar was enjoying the extra glasses that he concocted for him. Those who persisted to get closer to the man were rejected continuously though most of them can be stubborn. As the shaggy-haired inspected the customer who started to get comfortable with his company, one girl was stubborn and persisted to get closer to Skylar even with the many times she was given the rejection. The bouncers interceded before the female would come closer, being ushered out of the nightclub for good. He sighed, feeling glad that the situation was averted. The bartender sat down near Skylar, still near his spot, as he started asking questions. "Say, what do you work for a living, Skylar? Now I do want to know more about you."

Skylar watched as the annoying girl was escorted from the club with a shake of his head. Why did he always draw the crazy and obsessive? His blue eyes turned to Haruki when the other took a seat next to him but he didn't tense up around him like he did with the others as he liked Haruki, so he was a lot more relaxed around him. That and the alcohol helped a bit. "I'm a Pediatrician at the local hospital." he replied as he finished his second drink and started on the third, never taking his eyes, which seemed to glow under the lights of the club, off Haruki. He was surprised at the question, but he didn't mind answering.
