Skylar watched him go, shaki mg his head before turning his attention back to Haruki's parents and started to tell them how he and their son met, telling them everything. Even his mother was shocked if not angry when he mentioned Max and Victoria but got over her anger when he told them that both were gone and would not be bothering them anymore. Skylar was happy that Haruki's parents had accepted him. It was a weight off his chest and mind. Then Angelique and Haruki's mom started to trade stories, much to his embarrassment, as they waited for Haruki to return.

It took him five minutes for taking a pee and then washing his hands afterward. By the time he emerged from the bathroom, the talk went on abut those who dared to mess with them both. He sat down, meaning to speak from his point of view. "Those two were such a pain in the butt alright." Rika pouted. "That haggard woman should be put into jail in case she may return to threaten you both, even without her powers and when you're under our protection." The lady couldn't help but to feel worried in case there may be something else occurring again like last time during the party that would become a disaster.

"I quite agree." Angelique said, nodding her head at Rika. The thought of those two anywhere near her son and his bonded made her nervous. Skylar looked at them. "You don't have to worry about that. If anyone tries to do something like that again, they will have to go through me and probably my aunts too." he replied with conviction, his eyes all but glowing with determination. He wouldn't let anyone harm Haruki or his parents. Or his own family.

(Ohh. How about Paris?)

Haruki sighed, now wanting to change the topic to something lighter. "That one aside, let's just talk about something else, like what to serve for the guests as well as the cake. Since we're celebrating a wedding and all." Rika hummed. "Great idea. I have a friend who is good into wedding cakes and so on, with the bakery located not far from this house. She may help you into that matter." The mother will give that woman a call to give them assistance on that matter.

Skylar tilted his head to the side in thought, thinking that that was an awesome idea and was about to ask a question just as his cell started ringing. He blinked before reaching into his pocket and pulling it out. When he saw the number, he smiled before accepting. "Hi. My mom? Yeah. She's here. You wanna talk to her? Okay." He he replied into the speaker before handing the phone to Angelique, who blinked in surprise but took it and started having a conversation, dragging Rika into it as well. "That would be my aunt Amelia." He said to Haruki and Takumu with a smile. "She's the one in charge of the ceremony." He added, watching as the two women discussed things including what He would wear.

Haruki smiled at the mention of Amelia. "Also known as the good aunt for my little demon." Takumu then sighed. "Looks like I have to see that for myself, huh? Just to be on good terms with you and your boyfriend's clan." The son gave the father a curt nod in response, glad to know that the old man decided to look into a broader perspective for the better. Though it was true that society would still think of demons in a stereotypical fashion, it would take more than that to bring them down.

Skylar returned the smile, pretending not to notice the speculative looks He was getting from the women as if they were already deciding what He would wear. He had to surprise a shudder at that thought. Even his inner demon was a little wary of the two. Angelique hung up the phone, returning it to her son before staring at him. "Ameila said that she'll be arriving tomorrow sometime to get your opinion on the ceremonial robe. I wil be going too. You know, to help out." she said after a few moments of just staring at her son. Skylar just nodded, accepting his mothers words.

(Wanna wait or slip to the ceremony?)

He chuckled. "I bet it is different from the normal tuxedo on the human version on the wedding day. He'll look gorgeous anyway." He just couldn't wait to see his lover on that special day. But unknown to them both, demons would not be spared from people tasked to eradicate them, people who had witnessed Skylar's kind killing the humans, more rogue demons like Skylar's biological mother. More people would like to rain on the parade with no hesitation at all.

(Wait for a few more days before the ceremony, since thinking of people wanting to kill Skylar instead of being attracted aka demon hunters.)

Skylar blushed at the compliment but smiled anyways. "I bet you will too." he replied, kissing the other on the cheek as his mom and Rika continued to talk about plans. He smiled at the scene but why did he have a feeling that something bad was going to happen between now and the ceremony? He shook hisnhead to rid himself of the bad thoughts before turning to Haruki once more. "So, what to do now?" he asked him, before an idea came to him. "How about we all go out for lunch? My treat?" he asked, looking around at them with a smile.

The bespectacled man's cheeks flushed a bright pink at the kiss. He chuckled at the suggestion of sending them to lunch as a treat. "Just make sure that the food is delicious, alright? Though mom and dad need to have more fish and vegetables into their diet. A seafood place may suffice." Plus, it was a plausible excuse for Haruki to try out the crabs. The hunters were more organizing a plan to kill all of the demons in such a short span of time. A word of mouth had revealed that a ceremony would be there soon so that meant a huge reward once their bodies had been disposed properly. Indeed, a good score.

Skylar smiled before nodding. "Okay. That's cool." he replied after a moment of thinking. "I think no saw a seafood place not too far from here when we were on the bus." he added before standing up. Angelique was fine with it as long as she didn't get near any clams as she was allergic to them. Meanwhile, Amelia had caught wind of the hunters and their plans and cursed. No, not this time. She refused to let those animals kill off more of her kind and kin, especially Skylar. Of course she blamed Victoria as it was her fault the hunters started killing them in the first palce but that was neither here or there. In any case he had to warn Skylar to watch out for himself.

Haruki hummed as he rubbed his own tummy. "That's just so sweet. Can't wait to dive in and eat!" The hunters were now on the move, reconnoitering each and every member of the demon community that existed in the human world. Those who defied were killed quickly and their bodies were placed in bags for inspection. More rewards would be coming soon, a message that the demonic race should be eradicated as soon as possible and those who were affiliated with them should be killed as well.

Skylar laughed, shaking his head at his boyfriend's antics as they all left the house and started for the restaurant, not knowing that they were being watched. Especially Skylar. Never mind that the boy was gorgeous. He was stil a demon and had to be eradicated. The hunters had found thier their next target but they will soon realize that it's not wise to mess with the nephew of an entire clan of overprotective succubi. Angelique had the oddest feeling that something was going to happen. She would tell Skylar but decided not to as he seemed so happy atbthe moment, holding Haruki's hand as they walked.

The bartender was enjoying the company with his boyfriend, holding his hand as they were on the way to the bus stop so that they were going to the restaurant. The hunters were watching them but kept their disguises so that the targets would remain oblivious. However, Haruki took a glance at one of them and noticed something odd, like a few of them were keeping a close eye on them though they acted as if they were doing their normal outside jobs with such nonchalance. He had a bad feeling about this, but he shouldn't ruin the mood for the happy occasion, so he just stayed quiet and went on with the festivities, not wanting to worry his future spouse even further.

Skylar fektnlije he was on cloud nine until his inner demon decided to make itself known. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end when He realized that they were being watched. He didn't like the feeling and made sure that his mom and Haruki's parents were in front of them and protected. He noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and noticed that a construction worker was paying them just a bit too much attention. He gripped Haruki's hand tighter but pretended not to notice. The bad feeling from earlier had returned. Angelique had noticed early on that something wasn't quite right with the people around them. Even more so when she noticed Skylar's eyes flash gold for a brief second before returning to thier blue. Oh, this could be bad.
