Our story up to this point:

Xandiel, the Chaos Knight has lived through an immense struggle with his inner demons, when his former best friend turned into an oathbreaker and asked out Xandiel's beloved Llexen. Xandiel waged war within himself, but eventually found the strength, not only to move on and leave Llexen behind him, but to forgive his former best friend. His joy of the placidity of his life was short lived though, for soon he met Solanix, a girl not far beyond her thirteenth year. She bore a striking resemblece to Xandiel's first love, a girl named Rose, who Xandiel had failed to protect many years ago, standing aside as the shadows consumed her, fearing for his own safety. Disgusted by his own cowardice, and seeing the same darkness rising to strike down young Solanix, Xandiel has stepped up to defend her, even if it means his own life.
