Inochi...
Just when I'm bored. Or need to RANT. :D
[ I salute you! Randomness~ Included~! ]

The Current Event: -headdesk- I hate making speeches. Actually, I hate making speeches right when I'm about to graduate~ Bwah. Bwah. Bwah. Okay, I do admit - I should be proud of myself and I am. At the same time, I'm definately feeling bitter about not getting Valedictorian. (I should be ashamed of myself, ne? I shouldn't really be thinking about that!) Ha. But, I knew that he was getting it. He worked hard. (I think..?) He deserves it. I couldn't be bothered with study session even with a test that would affect 50% of my grade. He got all A+'s while I recieved all A+'s. Seems close doesn't it? (Fufufu~ I'm definitely surprised that I was able to mantain all of my averages on my weakest subjects. -lazyass-) Between the both of us, it was our complete point averages that determined the Valedictorian and Salutatorian. I guess it was like.. a 4.0 to a 3.9. -heskdesksagain- I'm proud of myself, got that? I'm seriously glad. Heh. Sometimes it's just not enough. Guessing from the mixed feelings I'm having, it's plain and simple: I guess I'm an egomaniac deep inside. ^^;;

Aside from my dislike of speeches, I've been pursuing my interests. These weeks have been a light-load~ Thankfully.. I don't have finals. The class has been good and we've been rewarded. (In my opinion.. I think we're rotten children. Other than that, hooray for not finals!) Anyway, I decided to take learning Japanese very seriously. Along with English, it's the language crucial for fields of technological advancement. I'm not sure if I'll ever decide to pursue a job in this field, but.. what the downside? I like the the language! ~<3 My grandmother has decided to teach me over the phone. (She currently resides in the Philippines.) I doubt she'll be able to take me with Japan with her.. Her health is currently delicate and I find it hard to believe she'll be alive when I'm 16-18. (It's okay, though. Acceptance is an important part of death.) -subjectchange- ALSO, HEHE. My uncle ripped a copy of Rosetta Stone: Japanese I & II and gave it to me. I defintely feel great~ (^^)v

In addition, I would also later on learn Mandarin and Tagalog.. Since both of my parents grew up into the Philippines and they talk to me in it, I do have a basic understanding of Tagalog. I bet my vocabulary is like of a child in 1st - 2nd Grade, though. >__>; Eh.. except my knowlege of how to say gay. (The non-happy kind.) Also, my mother can help me with Mandarin.. her accent sounds authentic. I'm having trouble with it.. ;^; In a nutshell: I feel it would be a nice hobby; I should devote myself to learning the tongue of my relatives and ancestors.

Yesterday Happenings: I went on my field-trip! It was to Split Rock Resort in PA. Whoooo~ It was definitely fun. On the days before the trip, I was worrying that I would forget how to swim and die in a drowning accident. (It almost happened.. TWO TIMES BEFORE. x3) Fufu~ But, I didn't forget! (It's not like you can. xDD) Anyway, I enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool. biggrin DD But before that, it seemed that the drowning thing would occur. My friends and I decided to rent a paddle-boat and traverse along the one mile lake.. -insertaseriouslyfunnyscene- (I'm too lazy to type it out.) Sadly, we started to panic when the boat started to fill up with water. OH-NO. Friends 2, 3, 4, and 5 were like, "Okay, let's go back.." Friend 1 was like, "OMG. OMG. I CAN'T SWIM." Eventually, someone rescued us after much screaming from them, not me. (I actually hate to scream and yell.) Too bad they could only take 2 of us. Friend 5 and I took the boat back to shore.. while waving happily to our friends. We waited and waited.. As we did so, we noticed that the boat was drifting futher away~ =O Eventually, it returned attached to a motor-boat, the boat's nose nose in lakewater. >___>; My friends were alive, just so 'ya know.

Other than that we enjoyed: Archery, tennis, and walking! It doesn't seem like much.. but there was a bus-ride, lunch, dinner, etc. We also were able to see some wildlife. Mm.. I saw a watersnake, frog, and chipmunk. ER. I guess that's it. >___>;

Ooh, ooh! Some kid in my French class didn't know what 'n*quer' meant (no, not n*gg*r) so he said it out loud, and moments later our teacher told us it was the verb f*ck.

And in addition to your last segment:
Ong! That sounds so fun! =D
I want to go there now.. xD
But, I guess I have my school's Six Flags trip to look forward to. =O
