1. Disgaea
Disgaea is an anime that is 12 episodes long and it was a sequel to Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PS2. While the main characters remain the same, the plot differs from the game. Makai Senki Disgaea follows the same general plot as the game, however some roles and the timing of events have been altered. New merchandise for the anime is also being produced. The anime is licensed by Geneon with NISA in the United States.
Story: Two years ago, the Angel Trainee Flonne was sent to the Netherworld to assassinate King Krichevskoy. However, when she arrived at the Overlord's Castle, it was covered in flames. For the next two years, Flonne searched for her target, narrowing her search to a local dump. She found a coffin with Krichevskoy's emblem on it and tried to carry out the assassination. However, it turned out that it was not Krichevskoy, but his son Laharl. Learning that his father has died, Laharl set out to claim the title of Overlord for himself. Flonne and another demon by the name of Etna followed after him.
2. Star Ocean EX
Star Ocean EX is an anime series that is based on the manga serialization in Monthly Shonen Gangan of the Star Ocean: The Second Story video game. Originally in Japanese, the series has been translated into English by Geneon. Star Ocean EX chronicles the journey of swordsman Claude Kenni and his friends as they investigate the mysterious Sorcery Globe; the series is well-liked by many of the fans of the Star Ocean video games.The anime is actually based more on the manga, the manga itself based on Star Ocean 2, rather than the game. The manga ended on its seventh volume, only halfway through the plot; unfortunately, the anime was also ended halfway through the plot. As a result, some of the characters that appeared later on in the game do not appear in the anime at all such as Noel and Chisato. However, unlike the manga, the story was completed, in the form of vocal drama CDs.
3. Naruto
Naruto is a manga by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime TV series adaptation. Its main character, Naruto Uzumaki, is a loud, hyperactive, adolescent ninja who constantly searches for approval and recognition, as well as to become Hokage, acknowledged as the leader and strongest of all ninja in the village.Naruto maintains a balance between drama and comedy, with plenty of action interspersed. It follows Naruto and his friends' personal growth and development as ninja, and emphasizes their interactions with each other and the influence of their backgrounds on their personalities. Naruto finds two friends and comrades in Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, two fellow young ninja who are assigned with him to form a three-person team under a very experienced sensei named Kakashi Hatake. Naruto also confides in other characters as well that he has met through the Chunin Exam. They learn new abilities, get to know each other and other villagers better, and experience a coming-of-age journey as Naruto dreams of becoming the Hokage of the Leaf Village.Naruto places strong emphasis on character development. Almost all outcomes are a result of decisions, character, and personality; very few things happen just because of chance. At first, emphasis is placed on Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, who are the members of Team 7. However, other characters are developed, such as Kakashi, Guy, and Jiraiya, as well as Naruto's peers in the other Genin teams and other villages. There is 220 episodes. Then, a sequel Naruto Shippuden which is a 2 year gap.
