Tonight, it happened- the first semi-argument. He didn't understand why she was acting the way that she was, and neither did she, really, but something was there. He kept apologizing and she wouldn't say a word. "Aren't you going to say anything?" He asked her. She could tell that he was upset. "Well, what am I supposed to say?" That was the only thing she could manage to get out. "That's not what I meant." He said, taking her into a warm embrace. He said he was sorry and she started to cry. He looked her dead in the eyes and said, "I'm sorry. I'm not like other guys, I swear. I don't want you to think that I am." She nodded and managed to get out a soft, "I know you're not. I know." He held her close and she hugged him back. He looked up at her and when her eyes met his, she noticed that he had started to cry. "I'm sorry!" She said, as loudly as she could manage between tears. "I love you for you! Nothing else! I don't want to fight!" He said. All the girl kept saying was "I know, I know." "I don't want things to be like this. I love you, I really love you." He said, and she wiped away his tears. "I love you, too." She said, drying her own eyes. "Promise?" He said, his voice a bit weak. She simply nodded and fell into his arms. He looked at her and asked, "Why are you still crying?" She thought about it before answering, and she realized, it was because she never wanted to lose him. She didn't want to fight either. She really loved him, too. And she knew in her heart that is was all a big misunderstanding- no one's fault. The tears just wouldn't stop rolling. So she replied, "I don't know..." They exchanged a few sweet kisses and so many more "I love you's" and then he had to leave, but not before he made absolutely sure that nothing else was bothering her, and making her promise that she would come to him for anything and that he'd call her tonight to make sure nothing else was on her mind.
Tonight, they cried together and she felt terrible that she had brought him to tears, but that's what it's all about- sharing not only the laughter, but the crying, not only the joy, but the anger, too. Most of all, though, it's about love, real love, and no matter what, they would keep eachother's love in their hearts. heart
