Kingdom Hearts Theme Fanfiction (Chapter 5)
Okay, chapter five. This is the chapter about Zac right after he leaves Logan for "dead." Just for entertainment. Here is a song for y'all to listne to while reading the fanfiction. The other song will come in chapter ten. Enjoy!

"What is the first thing I can do to open my heart to darkness?" Zac pondered. He sat along the border of Hollow Bastion. "I know! I can eat meat!"

He entered a Papa John's and ordered a small pizza with seafood toppings. He payed and took a bite of it. "Augh! This is horrible. I think I'll just stick to Hawaiin pizza." He threw away the pizza and searched for a gummi.

He saw a guy entering a gummi and went up to him. "Hey, let me get a ride in your gummi."

The guy replied, "Sorry, I don't give rides to random people wanting them."

"I wasn't reqeusting," Zac said. He took out Oblivion and knocked the man out. He entered the cockpit and looked at the navigation maps. There was one map that read Maificent's Palace. "That seems like a good place to start." He pushed the warp button and entered the coordinates for the palace.

Zac got to the palace in no time at all it seemed. "That was fast," he said to himself. He walked around the room and found a folder named Dark Witches. "Hmmm, this seems informing," he said to himself as he flipped through the pages. Kiba skimmed the pages on Zac's head while Zac went through the pages. "I need to find one of these witches."

He took the folder and found the first witch. She was located in the South of the palace. Her room was filled with shelves of books that held valuable information. The witch approached Zac in a dark cloak that hid her eyes from her face. Her body was always wrinkled whever you saw her body. She usually kept her body concealed unless she had to use her body for something.

"What are you here for?" the witch asked Zac.

Zac gulped and Kiba whimpered. "I'm here to open my heart to the darkness. Could you do that for me?"

"Hmmm," the witch asked Zac, "why do you want to open your heart to darkness?"

"I want to get stronger. Strong as I can be! Be the srtongest of them all!" Zac exclaimed. Kiba barked a confident bark to that.

"I see," the witch said. "Well, you must find Ansem and allow him to turn your heart to the darkness. That is the only way."

"But, Ansem is dead," Zac replied. He wasn't going to mention that he killed him wit his own hands.

"Okay, then. There is another way," she said. "But, you must be prepared. You must go to the witch in the North for directions. She will make it clear for the next step after that. Just tell her that the South yearns for power and she will know what to do."

Zac said, "Thank you for your help." He ran off to the North in search of the witch. He finally found her in a room that was just plain with a bed on it. "How is this witch special?" he thought.

The witch suddenly came out of a dark corner and asked, "Who are you and what are you here for?"

"Ah!" Zac yelled in surprise. "I'm Zac, and I want to open my heart to the darkness."

"Yeah, just like every other power hungry fool out there," the witch said.

"But, the South yearns for power," Zac wittingly said.

"Ohhh," the witch said to herself. "That kind of darkness. Come, follow me." She went to the wall and pushed in a brick that made the walls turn. On the walls were swords, spears, armor, shields, and daggers of all sorts. She looked around the room and found one armor that hung out from the rest. She took it off the wall and gave it to Zac. "Here, this is what you need."

"How does this help me?" Zac asked.

The witch took off the wall and gave it to Zac. "This is a picture of the man that used to wear these clothes. He was the greatest dark arts master of all time. He learned every single dark art that the witches offered him and more. He made his own dark arts, discovered new armors, swords, and anything to have to do with darkness of the heart."

Zac looked over the picture and noticed the sword behind him. Then, he looked up on the walls but couldn't find the sword. "Where's his sword?" Zac asked giving the picture back.

"The sword is hidden in a dungeon that is full of traps," the witch informed. "I am too weak and frail to get the sword. Only certain people are able to get the sword. And the dark arts master named this sword. He named it Excalibur. He was invicible whenever he wielded that sword." She hung the picture back up and noticed the dog on Zac's head.

Zac finally remembered why he came to this witch. To get the next step to his dark heart. "Where do I find the next witch to open my heart to darkness?" he asked.

The witch replied, "Before I do that. What about you dog? Will he join you on your quest or just be the way he is and just hold you back?"

Zac never thought about that. He just thought that Kiba would be his best friend forever and never change, never holding him back. He took Kiba off of his head and asked him, "Are you willing to change for me, Kiba? Are you willing to open your heart to darkness for me?"

Kiba looked down and back up to Zac. Then, he nodded a yes.

The witch then said, "Well, then. It's settled. Just take your dog to the witch of the West. Wear that armor when you go to her and show her the dog. She will give you a special potion for you."

Zac nodded, "Thank you, witch of the North. It's much appreciated." He put Kiba back on his head and walked away. He put on the armor then went to search for the witch of the West.

In this witch's room was a giant, black cauldron for brewing potions, most likely. There were shelves of potions and bottles all over. The witch saw Zac coming with Kiba under his hood. She found the potion for the dog and got it out.

Once Zac got to the witch's room she held out the potion in front of her. "Here, give this potion to the dog."

Zac took the potion and put Kiba ont he floor. He opened it releasing a weird smell. Kiba didn't like the evil smell much and backed away from it for a second.

Zac crouched down to Kiba and said, "Here you go, buddy. Bottoms up." Kiba just turned his head in dissaproval, though. "Come on. This is supposed to make you stronger. You aren't gonna hold me back, are you?" he told Kiba.

Kiba then turned to Zac and shook his head answering the question. "Then, open up and lets pour this in." Kiba opened his mouth allowing for the potion to be poured in. Zac poured the whole potion in and backed away. Kiba grew sharper teeth, sharper claws, and grew four times his size. He was now a wolf(without and eye patch; on the way left).

"Uh, uh, uh, uh," Zac was in astonishment. "Kiba? Is that you?"

Kiba answered in a deep voice, "Yes, it's me Zac." Zac couldn't speak now that his dog was.

The witch said, "My potion has given Kiba extraordinary powers and a transformation to boot. You must now go to the witch of the East to finish the job."

Zac was still in astonishment. He didn't say anything. But Kiba said, "I think he says thak you for helping him." They both walked away to the witch's of the East room. They didn't find anything but darkness in there.

Then, a neoshadow popped up out of nowhere that stopped the two in their tracks. Then, nine other neoshadows appeared around them in a circle. The neoshadows pounced on them. But, Zac got out Oath Keeper and Oblivion and spun around killing all of the heartless.

Finally, the witch appeared out of the darkness and applauded very slowly. "Very well, done, keyblader," she said. This witch looked different than the others. She did have a cloak but kept her hood off. Her skin was not wrinkly but smooth instead. She sees the armor that Zac is wearing and said, "I see you have visited all the witches. Come with me. You shall now have your heart opened to darkness." She summoned up a heartless that was in the shape of a tiger. It ran up stairs up to the pinnacle of the palace. Kiba was fast enough to stay up with the heartless.

In the middle of the room was the cauldron seen earlier. The four witches stood around the empty cauldron. The witch of the South stood to the south of it holding a magic book. The witch of the North was standing the north of it holding a dagger. The witch of the West had a small pouch in her hand. And the witch of the East had just entered with nothing in her hands. She readied a neoshadow by her side.

The witch of the East said, "Please enter the cauldron. Both of you enter." Zac and Kiba entered the cauldron suspiciously but they cooperated. The witch of the South opened the book and muttered some words.

Then, at the end of her string of words, she yelled, "Open this man's heart to the darkness!" The witch of West threw the powder she held in the pouch into the cauldron. It created a pillar of fire that didn't hurt the two at all. Then, a heart shape went around Zac's heart.

"Huh? What is this?" Zac asked. But all he heard in return were cackles from three old ladies and a sweet laugh from a girl. The witch of the North stabbed Zac in the heart and carved it out. No blood came out, just a heart came out of his chest. A magical heart that floated in the air in front of Zac. The neoshadow created a keyblade of its own and shot a beam of darkness to the heart. Where the heart opened up and the neoshadow entered. The heart went back into Zac's body and caused him much pain. He fell on his knees into the cauldron and the pillar of fire finally diminished.

Kiba nudged Zac to wake him up. But he wouldn't wake. He growled at the witches and yelled, "What have you done?! Is he dead?!"

The witch of the East answered, "No. He's just passed out. I can tell that he's never experienced darkness in the before. He will be okay. Carry him to our guest room where he can rest up." The witches of the West, North, and South dissappeared in a puff of smoke to their rooms while the witch of the East stayed.

"Follow me," the witch of the East commanded Kiba. She got on her heartless tiger and walked to the guest room down the stairs. "This is where he can stay."

Kiba layed Zac onto the bed and watched him sleep. He was worried about his friend. The witch of the East finally left to her room with the tiger and slept as the other witches had.

Okay, that's it for this chapter. The same time as the last one. I'm still kind of sad that no one has left me any comments, yet. I still need ideas, people. I don't have much to work off of. So, please enjoy the other five chapters and leave comments! Thank you! mrgreen
