Dante leaned against a rock, his medium-long black hair blowing in the breeze. He was lost in his memories, they kept playing in his mind, like a mini movie that just wouldn't stop. However, he liked it and yet ditested it.

Dante ran towards his mother, her sweet, loving face was all he saw. He kept running, her arms open. Dante ran right into them and hugged her with all of his strength, "Don't ever leave me mom.. Don't.." Dante whispered softly. She smiled and tightened her grip on him, "I won't little dante...I'll never leave you." she said to him. That brought a tear to young Dante's eyes, a tear of joy.

Suddenly the image of his mother and his younger self dissapered, he now saw thier home lit on fire. Ear piercing screams could be heard from inside. Dante watched in horror as the house burned to the ground, all he knew was gone, he was utterly alone now. "You promised me..You said you'd never leave me! You- you lied to me!" screamed Dante. He fell to the ground, crying as he'd never done before. "It's not fair.. Nothings fair!" Dante sobbed, his fists hit the ground.

A loud crash was heard in the distance, Dante was thrown out of his trance. He stood up and scanned the nearby area to see what had happened. A cloud of dust shrouded the site, as it cleared a huge crater was seen. Dante jumped into it and walked cautiously towards the center, a small black box was all that there was. He slowly reached out for it. As his fingers touched it a wave of dark energy surged through his body, he let out a painful scream and he fel to the ground unconcious.
