as strife and akako continued to walk to the third gate they found themselves in a plain field with a huge lake in the middle of it, "how are we going to get across there is no boats?" akako asked. "hm...intresting predicament we are in," strife says,suddenly the ground began to shake then a huge stone wall came up from the bottom of the lake and blocked the view of the other side. "great now there is a wall," strife complained,then a stone bridge also came from under the lake that reached from the wall to both sides of the lake. "i guess we walk across," strife said as he began walking on the bridge as akako followed,they reached the the wall and found a huge gate. "if this is the gate...then where is the gate leader?" strife asked himself. "right here.....i am eluia of the third gate," a women said as she rose up from the lake on a tower like shape made of water, "well i guess you are the two ninjas that kuro told me about,well i am afraid you wont beat me," eluia said as she pulled out a french saber (a french style of the saber which is a type of sword used in fencing). "well we are going to pass your gate and kill saru-kai!" strife yelled, "tch i dout it....BANKAI!" eluia yelled as a huge knight looking leviathen made of water appeared on the bridge.
"so she has a bankai to....i guess all the gate leaders have a bankai...no telling what saru-kai's bankai is," strife realized in his mind. "BANKAI!" akako yelled as hinotaru appeared and became engulfed in flames,then akako's sword turned red with weird looking symbols engraved in it, "so my bankai makes my sword and hinotaru stronger," akako thinks to herself as she and hinotaru charge at the huge water knight. "blazing demons fist!" hinotaru yells as he shoots a fire ball from his fist,as the fireball hits the water knight it creates steam but the knight re-generates itself and comes back,then it knockes hinotaru into the water as it fights him in the water. "haha your demon is finished there is no way he can defeat my knight in the water," eluia laughs as she clashes swords with akako.
"amazing...akako already figured out her bankai....how come i cant figure mine out...only if i new...but how did she figure it out so quickly,i meen hinotaru looked 10 times stronger after akako activated her bankai...maybe i should try to find mine," strife thinks to himself. "BANKAI!" strife yells as he takes his katana out of his sheith and a purple demonic aura in the shape of a snake is floating around in a spiral shape over strife's katana, "is this it?" strife says to himself.suddenly two huge black bird wings appear on strife's back,then a weird ingravement is carved into strife's katana making it stronger, "wow i feel stronger...like i can defeat anyone...ok lets go!" strife yelled as he floated in the air and charged underwater. "ok first i am going to defeat this knight thing and save hinotaru...then i will help akako," strife thought,but he stopped and he saw hinotaru shooting to the top of the water, "ok nevermind i guess hinotaru defeated the knight thingy," strife said in his mind as he shot for the top of the water as well.
"che...you cant beat me!" eluia yelled as she rapidly thrusted akako with her saber "eh..she is fast but if i block all of her slashes and counter i can beat her easily," akako thought as she countered eluia with a slash, "fire style:blazing fire clone!" akako yelled as a clone of herself appeared made of fire. "water style:water dragon jutsu!" eluia yelled as a huge a dragon made of water came out of the lake. "watch out!" strife yelled as he threw a huge black sphere at the water dragon and destroyed it, "no my dragon!" eluia cried as the fire clone ran up to her and exploded on her. "demons kamaitachi!" strife yelled as he teleported behind eluia and dashed passed her,then a ton of delayed slashes hit her while black feathers floated around her and exploded knocking her while the gate opened. "well lets go akako now we have to fight saru-kai!" strife said with a smile as his bankai receded exept for the markings on his katana, "huh my katana.....what are these markings....i guess my katana changed from my bankai...i will give it a name...it will be ryu-kyoskai," strife said as he and akako walked through the gate and across the bridge to saru-kai's throne....................
