Why is this happening to me? I've been driving for almost four years, and I've never hit a thing, but, in the last two weeks, I've managed to kill two little animals that wandered into my path.
Ironically, both times, I tried to avoid the animals, and ended up hitting them because I tried to not hit them...
My first roadkill, as some of you may already know, was a skunk. And yes, my car smelled repulsive for some time. I ran over the skunk about two weeks ago, but yesterday, I ran over a little bunny rabbit.
The bunny was just sitting in the road, so, I thought I'd drive around it. Of course, right as I was passing by the bunny, it decided to flee from my car. You might say that the bunny hit me, but I don't think that argument would stand up, from a legal point of view...
Ironically, I ran over the bunny in almost the exact same spot where I hit the skunk...
