As time passes by,
I can't help but wonder,
how time is a gracious marvel,
but at times be a cursed thing,
and I wonder does time lie?
It merely makes me ponder,
if one was to make it unravel,
would joy come from what it bring?

Sometimes our fate proffer,
such scared and joyous thing,
yet sometimes our eyes seek not,
of what beholds our lovely life,
causing us to suffer such strife,
when we base us off another lot,
because we can not do everything,
but only what fate has to offer.

One needs joy in life,
not to suffer such strife,
nay I would bestow a hand,
and hope of something grand,
be brought to you on this day,
and whatever comes your way.

As sleep finds you tonight,
may the angels part their wings,
and bestow upon you joyous things,
all of which to bring you midnight delight.
