busy, bizee, bisie ...
The first week in July is always rough - too much to do, no time to do it. i spend much of it hiding from people. on the first it's canada day, parties and fireworks (i live in canada). on the fourth it's independence day (much of my family is in the US so it's more of the same - parties and fireworks) and the fifth is my birthday, people expect me to feel like going out and to be honest, i'm just not up for it. luckily since moving to my new place i've not told a soul the date of my birthday so i think i'm pretty safe. i haven't seen many of my old friends in a long time so it's likely i won't get any visits and i can always unhook the phone. so this may actually be my first year of real peace! i look forward to it!
