Well, I´m at my aunt´s house right now. We´re up in the mountains, and the climate here is just amazing. It´s cool, but tropical, and she´s got a garden in her backyard. But a garden of papaya trees, red roses, emperor canes, orchids, mango trees, tomato plants, and so, so much more. She´s just an amazing lady.

Her daughter, like her, is an incredible girl who´s getting married next year, who´s, like, the sweetest thing that ever walked the planet. Her son is, also, a very kind and decent individual. He´s just very quiet, but he has an iPod and a computer and loves art and music, so we get along great.

We´ve gone shopping for stuff, snatched some good foodies, told stories, tried on clothes, and joked around for the past few days. It´s been so amazing.

And she´s letting me use this computer to get on Gaia and communicate with Tomás via AIM. I love my aunt.

She paints. And excellently, at that. She does commissions, painted me and my sister as children, and she´s simply got so much talent when it comes to painting. It´s spectacular.

Everthing´s going great. We´re about to cook up some octopus for a salad and make tequeños--love the heck out of those things; haven´t touched one in seven years, though--and just have a great time.

Can´t wait to get to know my native land even better in the next week and a half, and I can´t wait to come back home and let you know how it all went.

But for now, I´m enjoying every minute. ^_______^
