i walked onto the porch, my umbrella lying like a dead bat, wet from the night before's downpour. i went into my kitchen, opened a can of spaghettio's and dumped them into a small copper-bottomed pot. as they were boiling all i could think of was bloody intestines, and so i dumped them into my small under-the-sink waste basket. I regreted it, thikning of the temperature, and the thin can liner....
