Words for a Tolly
What happened to Tolly?

I'm sure I'll get asked this often. As you can see Tolly no longer exists. He has been replaced with something a little different. During my time in the land of Gaia I have been known by only one name. It's one that has collected alot of baggage and I've grown to see it as more of a burden than a joy. Because of this I've decided to lay Tolly to rest. He resides now in a locked coffin. One that apparently has lots of crayons scribbles and scorch marks on it.

Your next question might be, "Who is this Tracius person?"
Well, Tracius is not Tolly. In fact they share very little in common.

During the golden days of the Roman Empire Tracius was a soldier that fought and died on the battlefield defending a belief he held dear. Before his demise, he had learned of a death worshiping cult known as the Christians. He was intrigued by there beliefs and secretly joined them. It was shortly after that that he found they were anarchists working to undermine the power of his great and beloved Roman Empire. Tracius died fighting against these people.

It wasn't until after his death that the world he knew changed. Knowledge of the Christians ways had forced a seed into his mind. Into his soul. On the other side of death's bitter kiss he found a world he had not expected. Gates of gold that stood open and a sentence that he did not agree with.

The voice of the Christian God was merciful in his ears and it chose to send him back to earth instead of making him suffer for his actions.

So began the second life of a blessed creature. Tracius returned to the world, a guardian of the people he had once fought and killed. A Christian Denizen paying penitence by helping the souls of Christ's followers.

For centuries this was the life he lead. Neither human nor angel, master nor slave he worked to make the teachings of Jesus and Johovah into a piece of the Roman's way of life. He was not alone. The Christian God sent more blessed souls back as well. Former humans that worked to make a purpose for there existence.

After many long and tumultuous years Tracius and his cohorts saw that the way of the Christian was not so clear as they wanted it to be.

Wars followed. The Roman Catholic way was not to the taste of this once proud benefactor and with great pain he chose to abandon the very foundation he had held onto for so long.

There were other cults. Followers of the ways of Jesus. Tracius tried to support them in there beliefs. Gnostics, Manchurians, Libilians.. each prospered for a time but eventually they fell to the their inner flaws.

It was during the inquisition that Tracius' battles tore at his very beliefs. The guardians wared openly during those days. Belief was open to interpretation by all and to none. Heresy was the word on the mouths of saints. From that word flowed rivers of blood.

Today things are different. The battle of the guardians is not so open. There ways have often become petty and self-serving. Light does not shine upon there heads as it once did.

Tracius still serves as best he can, but even for him. There is no light. To many years have built a sea of personal beliefs and he walks the world, wondering what his purpose is.

He is a benefactor of man. Chosen to teach and to guide. He knows his words can be misinterpreted though so they are weighed carefully before spoken.
