Burrning the past
A single red rose
and a card beside it
next to the fire
I'm not going to hid it.
The flames die down
wanting more food
so i toss on the card
from the place that i stood.
they rise up,
and die down again
till i toss on the rose
as a tear falls from my chin.
Know i love you,
and i always will
but i have to move on now
and be happy still.
