Innocence is a very strong word.
It is a word that can rarely be heard,
and I am an innocent person.
Oh god that day,
when my innocence was taken away,
when all hell fell upon me.
Now I sit in this cell.
This cell that is a living hell,
where the justice will befall me.

I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time,

“don’t worry,” He said,
“I’ll leave you here in my stead.”
And he ran off behind me.
Cuffs chafed my hand,
As they took me to the stand,
where the judge was waiting.
“why did you kill that woman?”
“I didn’t! I’m only human.”
“then why was the gun in your hand?”
And without a reply,
I was sent on the fly,
To this hell cell in the prison.
