Doctors--and Needles
Okay, so after my huge dissapointment with my phone, I went to the doctors office. Not because I was suffering from broken hopes and dreams, but because I had a terrible cough that has been hangin around for a couple of weeks. And when I say I couple, I don't mean two weeks...I mean 4...at the most. I was sitting in the office drawing and listening to me mp3 player. Also talking with my mom about a abune website that I'm gonna make. And she was asking me questions that she wanted me to answer. Which I did, eventually. Well they called me to the back, weighed me and measured me along with all that good stuff. Then when we went into the other room they started asking more questions and stuff. When the doctor came in the room she explained to me that she would need a blood sample. So I was like COOL! and held out my arm. This amused the woman. She left the room and a nurse came in and set everything up for my shot. She looked at one arm and couldn't find a good vein. She looked at the other arm and found one. So she jabbed me with the needle and tried to draw blood. But the sad thing is, she lost my vein. So she couldn't get any blood. She told me that she had to do my other arm and find a vein there. The nurse took my other arm and found a vein there. She told me that she would have to use a butterfly needle. Which is a smaller needle. She she jabbed me with that into my vein and started drawing blood. Everything was going smoothly untill the blood stopped. And wouldn't go all the way through. xd . So she kept digging the needle up there trying to get the blood clot out. But no luck. She took the needle out went into the back to see if it would be enough. The nurse came back and told me that it was enough blood, it just didn't go through. Then another woman who was a nurse, came in and told me that she needed to do a finger p***k. At that moment I wasn't caring, as long as they got some freakin blood. So she pricked my finger. Got what she needed and left. My right arm was numb by the time I left the office. And I left with 3 bandaids. So I don't think I'm gonna need a shot anytime soon.
